Inside the hall, Lancelot led Raven toward Kara. All the mutants instinctively stepped aside, clearing a path as Lancelot approached.

When I had just arrived at the base and was about to receive this group of mutant companions, I saw a girl named Anna lose emotional control and directly transform into a mass of water.

Lancelot was not very familiar with Anna's lover, but he knew her sister very well.

Silver Fox—Kara.

The future lover of Wolverine, Logan.

The woman who would single-handedly create Wolverine.

Her special ability allowed her to control another person's thoughts through physical contact.

Although this ability was inferior by millions of times compared to Professor X or the White Queen Emma Frost's telepathy, it could still be considered a form of mental power.

"Silver Fox Kara's sister, Anna, possesses the ability to control water. However, due to its instability, her mutation frequently causes her to collapse into a mass of water."

Lancelot glanced at the water that kept trying to gather itself, only to collapse again, already suspecting that Anna's mutation profile had surfaced.

"Dr. Leonard, bring the mutant gene stabilizer. Make sure it's inhalation-based."

Lancelot activated his communicator and issued the order.

One minute later, Dr. Leonard rushed in with a team of medical staff, carrying a specially made alloy case.

"My lord, the mutant gene stabilizer has arrived."

Dr. Leonard quickly opened the case and removed a pale-blue vial.

Mutant Gene Stabilizer.

One of the research成果 of the Evolution Home laboratory.

By reverse-engineering the mutant growth hormone, Dr. Leonard and his team developed a drug capable of stabilizing mutant genes.

Like the growth hormone, the stabilizer had no side effects. Its sole purpose was to help out-of-control mutants stabilize their mutations.

Lancelot smiled faintly.

He casually picked up the stabilizer and pressed the metal container. A cloud of mist was instantly released, enveloping Anna.

"Cough—cough!"

After inhaling the stabilizer for a minute, Anna's body rapidly condensed from water back into human form. She collapsed on the floor, coughing violently like someone who had nearly drowned.

"Take her for treatment."

Lancelot glanced down at the soaking-wet Anna and issued the command to the medical team behind him.

"Yes, my king."

The medical staff bowed respectfully and carried Anna away.

"Thank you… thank you…"

Watching Anna being taken away, Silver Fox Kara nodded gratefully at Lancelot.

"My name is Lancelot."

"The King of Mutants."

Lancelot glanced at Kara indifferently, then turned to face the surrounding mutants. His voice rose—dominant, elegant, and absolute.

A gasp rippled through the hall.

Lancelot's declaration instantly ignited shock among the mutants. Some looked at him with disdain, others with doubt, others with confusion.

Lancelot ignored them all.

He walked straight toward the high platform at the front of the hall and sat down upon the throne-like seat.

"Serve me as you would serve a king.

Serve me as you would serve a master."

His voice was unquestionable as he looked down upon the mutants.

Chirp.

The moment his words fell, a massive crimson bird burst forth from his eyes, soaring into the air. The blazing bird seemed to completely envelop Lancelot.

"My king!"

Below the platform, all the mutants saw the fiery bird upon Lancelot. Its scarlet imprint burned into their vision and then fused directly into their minds.

The complex emotions in their eyes were instantly replaced by fanaticism and awe.

Under Lancelot's gaze, every mutant dropped to one knee, pledging their loyalty.

Chirp.

Like a phoenix reborn in flames, the crimson bird shattered into countless sparks and vanished.

"I, Lancelot, shall grant you the dignity and glory of being mutants."

His solemn words—empowered by Geass—instantly engraved his ideology of mutant glory into the hearts of all present.

"Change and Glory!"

"Long live our King! Long live Lancelot!"

The mutants looked up at the man seated upon the platform, their voices trembling with both fear and excitement.

Lancelot gazed down at them, completely submissive at his feet. The smile on his face slowly grew arrogant and unrestrained.

Among them, he recognized many familiar faces:

Bradley the Electrocontroller,

Agent Zero David,

Phantom John,

Tank Fred,

Silver Fox Kara,

Gambit Remy,

Toad-Man Matthew,

Ink—the mutant from Days of Future Past,

and Angel Warren Kenneth, who would only appear in the Age of Apocalypse.

Unfortunately, the CIA had not been able to locate Psylocke or Storm—Ororo Munroe.

Of course, beyond these familiar mutants, this era had also given birth to several first-rate mutants.

Most of them, like Anna, were unable to control their abilities.

Ninety percent of them suffered physical deformities. Some had even lost their powers entirely, left with only twisted bodies.

"This is my first generation of mutants. Once I fully take control of the Hellfire Club's mutants, I will become the true King of Mutants."

"King Lancelot!"

Lancelot's eyes burned with depth and excitement.

These dozens of mutants would become his most loyal followers—and the first citizens of the mutant kingdom he would build.

"Come, my companions. You are still too weak and need assistance."

Lancelot stood from the platform and led the mutants toward the core laboratory of the base.

"Yes, my king."

All the mutants rose and silently followed him.

Although Lancelot had engraved a mental imprint into their minds using Geass, their thoughts were not controlled.

They were still themselves—unchanged in personality.

For them, nothing had changed.

Except for one thing.

Lancelot had become their king.
