She stood before you, towering like a giant looking at an ant. You felt miniscule in front of her.
You watched her as she spoke from her cherry red lips "oh my gosh hey kane, I haven't seen you since the fire"
You looked down in anticipation and pain at what she was about to say reminding you of the past.
Her smile faded away as she remembered what happened, flustered at what she had just said lily said "sorry, I forgot I know it must be hard for you to be here, especially after the accident"
Your eyes dragging to match her gaze you reply "yeah it's hard to be here but, I can't avoid it forever, can I?"
She responds "exactly, how about you join me at the end of the pier i was just about to return after grabbing my bag from my car, ill meet you there"
You answer "sounds good, ill see you there then"
You two cross paths as she makes her way to the beginning of the pier and you make your way to the end.
The fog covers your path yet you continue one step at a time toward your destination. It's hard to see but you finally find a seating area that is located at the edge. Staring not far out into the distance you can hear the wailing of fog horns, soon after a bright light begins shining through the fog, bright enough that any ship can find its way home.
A familiar voice can be heard as well, it's lily as she walks towards you, you call for her so that she can find her way. Docking herself right next to you as she approaches. As she sits down next to you she begins to lean in closer.
Flustered you say "I don't think you should be sitting so close to me, i smell especially my breath"
She smiles gleefully "i dont care about that, i spend my time here usually and it smells like rotten fish"
She once again speaks "look out there, isn't it beautiful?"
You respond by questioning her idea of beauty "what do you mean? You can't see anything in this fog though"
Lily answers "exactly even the fog is beautiful when your by the sea, just try to see it from a different perspective"
You sit there looking out into the particles of water being carried by the gentle breeze. And you think to yourself maybe the fog isn't so bad after all.
You two sit in silence as the fog begins to lift and dissipate from the pier and the scene that unfolds before you is unlike anything you've ever seen.
The horizon meets the two of your eyes covering your faces with a hue of brilliant light. You don't notice the sun because you're too busy staring at her. And as she takes her attention away from the beauty that encapsulates the heart of many, she begins to look at you.
Staring into each others eyes, you say "you know, I missed when it was just us when we used to hangout over here all the time"
She responds softly "I do too, now shut up and enjoy the view" as she takes your chin to turn your head towards the second most beautiful view around.
Clouds line the sky overlapping one another as the unimaginable color of pinkish orange fills the sky. the sun slowly lowering itself out of view along the horizon, sparkling as it falls just like icarus, beautiful. As the sun falls a light blue followed by a deep navy blue fills the sky from behind you both.
The sun finally sets just as the moon finally begins to rise from the ashes. Light poles lining the pier begin to turn on and you both sit there empty minded, taking in the radiant beauty of the sea.
Stars begin to shine brighter than ever before, even more than when you sat in your solemn kingdom of stone.
They sparkle like the jewels of a crown on a queen, who just so happens to be sitting next to you. Her smile is like the most beautiful pearl necklace. And her eyes, her eyes are a deep green like that of the forest, the deeper you go the more lost you find yourself, entranced.
Hypnotized by her radiance you find yourself staring at her. And as you're unable to look away she says "so are you gonna put your arm around me or what?"
While you're too flustered to react, she takes your arm and wraps it around herself leaning closer than before. You can feel your heart pounding out of your chest it thumps so hard that even she can feel it, but you can feel hers too. And as you too sit there, even if it's just for a moment, like many others have said before time begins to slow down as your mind records the most important moment of your life.
As your hearts begin to beat in rhythm with one another you ask "is it okay if i kiss you right now?"
She retorts annoyed "your not supposed to ask that"
You lean in closer, slowly approaching her lips the color of roses. And finally you kissed her, her lips were as soft as pillows and as tasty and sweet as wine, a wine that you could savor and enjoy for the rest of your life, drinking it slowly and passionately.
You finally disconnect yourself from her. As you both open your eyes you're unable to look away, they sparkle more than the most beautiful emeralds like a deep greenish blue sea she washes over your every thought. And you find yourself once again lost. No, a better term would be that you're hypnotized, unable to think for yourself. As if the fog filled your brain leaving you incapable of anything but loving her.
A smirk begins to grow on Lily's face as her cheeks redden. And she proclaims proudly "perfect, now you belong to me, and me and alone"
You survey "and would that mean that I can see you again?"
Lily laughs "no duh, you dummy obviously you get to see me again"
Commenting back you say "then nothing, would make me happier than to see you again"
You both smile, cheeks red and warm, noses stinging and cold, eyes fluttering and darting at what one another shall say next. But sadly all things shall come to an end.
She stands up brushing herself off and grabbing her bag while saying well really demanding "ill be seeing you here tomorrow"
And you in a entranced voice say "ill be here before the sun sets"
She retorts "no you'll be here as the sun rises"
In a comforting voice you say "I love a woman who always demands what she wants, and that's fine by me my queen"
You walk Lily back to her car and you both exchange contact information before inevitably, parting ways. As you watch her get in her and drive away you realize that nobody has said your name in a long time, it felt good.
For some reason, as you take in the air around you filling your lungs, it finally feels like you don't need to sing for the night. It finally feels, different. It's so refreshing, it feels like for the first time in a long time you have someone you belong to. Someone who's all yours, it may seem controlling, hell it may even seem wrong. But if it's her then maybe she can replace all your addictions. To fill the old, with the new, right?
And you begin to think to yourself, that's what everyone does, they replace the pain with a new pain. One that feels good, one that feels clean, that feels like you're doing it for the better, one that feels like if you fill the pain just right, then maybe you too can have a beautiful garden among the scars.
Your head feels light, you can't help but smile as your pace falls out of rhythm. You're jolting with excitement and as you continue to think of the moment the two of you shared you can't help but run home that way, you can see her in your dreams. But what's the point of dreaming of something that you already have?
Opening the door to your home your mother is nowhere in sight. It's dark in the house but you can see light from the hall upstairs.
As you lift each leg after the other, excitement builds with each step. All you can think about is waking up, all you can think about is her. As you reach the top of the stairs the light creeps from underneath your own door, but why? You left the lights off.
You feel anxious as you take each step closer and closer to the door. Your hand rests on the handle as you slowly turn it, releasing the locking mechanism. You open the door to see your mother, she's sitting on the bed. But her face looks anxious as she looks over to you.
She speaks in a saddened tone "Welcome home dear, how was your day"
You respond as you sit on the end of your bed "it was great, i've got a girlfriend now and shes amazing, i think i really like her"
Your mothers expression seems to become gentler as she says "im glad, seeing you happy like this seeing you shine so brightly, it reminds me of when you were younger"
You look down at your floor as you say "yeah, a lot changed. It's weird. I feel so, so I don't know, excited maybe? My heart wont stop beating out of my chest and shes all i can think about"
Your mother lifts her hand softly caressing your face, she can feel the warmth from your blushing even though it's so cold outside you still bring warmth to everything around you just like you used to. Before the cold ocean air froze your heart over.
Once again your mother says "seeing you smile like this, seeing you so happy. It reminds me of your father. We used to be so in love and every night he would sing to me, about how much he loved me"
A questioning look begins to grow on your face as you slowly drift your head over to match your moms gaze.
You begin to question what she means "he sang to you? Where did he do this? Because i dont ever remember him doing that"
She replies in a saddened tone "well it was by the sea, he would take me there and we would go to eat. But thats a story for another time, i love you dear im going to bed"
You retort before she leaves "wait why were you in my room?"
She responds softly "i just wanted to see your face before i went to bed, you remind me so much of your father, and well you know sometimes, sometimes its hard to be alone, before your siblings moved away, before" she looks away before continuing "well, you already know"
She stands up and walks to the door gripping the handle as she continues out before she leaves she exclaims "oh, and dont forget to tell the lady that you love her, you never know"
She shuts the door latching it closed and you can hear her footsteps fade into the distance.
Your left alone with your thoughts, all of the circulating in your head and only growing more and more like a snowball tumbling down a mountain they only continue to fill your head.
You throw yourself back, getting comfortable in your bed as you think of seeing her tomorrow, finally something to take your mind off of everything. Finally something new.
And as you lay there you slowly fade into your mind, a place of unparalleled freedom. Its, peaceful. A landscape forms around you as particles of darkness are painted in with your surroundings. You look around as you stand on the beach, toes in the sand, water approaches and washes your feet as jesus washed his disciples. And like the songs the sea used to sing for you once again hear her voice. "The sea has given you something youve never truly had before, but know that theres always a price for your happiness"
The tide begins to rise and the waves begin to crash around you as water splashes on your face, jolting you awake. Your eyes widen as your consciousness finds you. You stand up looking out your window, the sun sits gracefully along the clouds. And you realize something that terrifies you down to your soul, your late.
You jump out of bed throwing on any clothes you can find, rushing out your bedroom door flying down the stairs exiting out the door in the kitchen. Your running to the pier as fast as you can, the air cuts past your head, brushing your hair back as your anxiety grows evermore.
The piers in site and all you can think is "what should i say?" As you run as if your trying to mind each second.
Finally your at the front of the pier and leaning on the railing looking out into the sea is a woman who looks as if she belongs in a painting. As if the artist put his entire life into his work, each stroke of the brush yet another compliment to her beauty. Each hair flowing gracefully, shining like gold. As you approach you notice each eyelash, so delicate and lushisly thick, they flutter like the wings of a butterfly flying through the wind, unknowingly effecting everything around it.
You approach and yet your too nervous to say anything. Luckily she catches you in the corner of her eye. Turning her head she looks you up and down and cant help but giggle as she says "cheech and chong huh, i never took you for a stoner type"
You respond "well you know sometimes I enjoy the feeling, sorry i know you deserve someone well, better"
She smirks while saying "in that case be better, im sure you already know your late so i wont pester you anymore about it, instead why dont you buy me an ice-cream cone"
You awkwardly stand at a military like stance of attention while robotically moving your arm to a salute saying "yes maam, one ice cream cone coming right up"
She chuckles as you march over stiffly to a parlor with a sign saying "butches ice cream" on the front. You swing open the door holding it so that she can walk through first before following along.
As you try to sound manly you say "please have a seat while i grab you a cone, what flavor by the way?"
She replies quickly "do you not remember?"
Sweat begins to fall down your back dampening your already damp clothes. You smile crookedly as you say "oh yeah of course i remember, totally"
She grins and lifts an eyebrow as she rests her head on her hand. Lily waves her hand as she says "well go on then, grab me my favorite"
You walk over to the selection of tubs filled with icecream. Your mind is screaming at you to make the right choice. Eyes darting back and forth you make your choice.
Finally you bring lily her cone, except its missing the most important part, the icecream. She stares at the waffle shell and cant help but laugh. You take her actual ice cream from behind your back and hand it to her. She takes it and stares at it for a while before taking a bite of the ice cream a suprised look on her face shows through as her eyes light up in excitement, she exclaims "vanilla, my favorite im suprised you remembered"
A sigh is released from your chest as a wave of relief washes over you as you take a seat next to her. You hold your own icecream in your hand and take a bite before realising that in a panic you had asked for pineapple, it was good. But definitely not your personal favorite.
You stare at the icecream before inevitably taking another bite. Your face looks disgruntled as you wrinkle your nose. She notices your rection and takes a humongous bite straight out of your hand. You look at her, as her mouth is filled with icecream and you follow in her footsteps taking a bite of hers, you dont eat much of it though because you still want her to enjoy it. She giggles as she wipes some of the cream off your nose, eating it. You cant help but stare at her as she laughs to herself. You cant help but be absent minded. Like a robot short circuiting, your on the fritz.
The light from the sun shines through the windows as you two are sitting, it falls like a curtain perfectly draping over her face. The sun glistens off her eyes like the okinawan sea. Her teeth are as pearly white as the clouds that drift above the town. Her cheeckbones look as though theyve been drawn on and her jaw is as sharp as a knife. And then you realize the artist that pain stakingly hand crafted the portrait that sits before you, she is gods masterpiece.
She notices you lost in her eyes and flicks you on the nose saying "how about we get some fresh air?" She stands up and walks to the door after pushing in her chair. You rush to make it before her so that you can open it for her. Like a knight to his queen you serve her faithfully and happily.
The suns rays of light beam wherever the eye may see as it begins to end its reign over the skies. Lily grabs your arm as she rushes towards the end of the pier. Excitement jumps in her voice "cmon we gotta see the sunset!"
You run with her your icream falls but you dont care, thankfully she had already finished hers. The two of you arrive at the seating area located at the end of the pier. She sits down while still holding your arm, wrapping it around herself as she sits down pulling you in.
You try jumping back saying "give me a second im all sweaty and" she cuts you off saying "shut up and enjoy the view dummy"
You were once again so focused on what was happening you didnt notice everything around you, you didnt notice anything but her. But she knew that, once again grabbing your chin turning it to the sunset.
It was as if you had set the sky ablaze. The orangish red hues filled the sky spreading like a wildfire as the sun continued to fall a pinkish hue followed. And yet this time because the clouds began to roll by the sky was more visible as the colors melded together creating new discoveries of light. As the sun burns to dust, the moon grows from the dead. The moon reflected the sky and sea as if they were two parallel world meeting in the middle at the moon along the horizon, continuing to shine. The stars reflect in the water and the sky looked like the deep blue sea, as you looked out you didnt know which way was up and which way was down, as if you could fall or fly at any moment.
Out of the blue she says "just so you know, my favorite isnt vanilla"
A look of astonishment covers your face as you reply "wait i thought i got it right? Why didnt you just say that then?"
A light hearted smile forms on her face as she responds "well, you looked so excited i couldnt tell you"
You say in a hastened voice "you should have just told me i wouldn't have minded"
She responds softly "what? And ruin the moment? Oh, and just so you know weve never gotten icecream together before"
A look of sadness fills your expression, unable to hide it you say "im sorry, i shouldve known"
But she doesnt look sad instead she smiles as she responds "but you thought of me when you got it, didnt you?"
You reply "well, yeah"
Lily then answers "then it was the best ice cream ive ever had, its not about getting everything right. Its about trying, thats what counts, so thank you for the icecream. Congratulations you successfully made up for this morning"
You were so lost in the moment that you completely forgot about this morning you exclaim hastily "oh yeah im sorry for-"
But she cuts you off before you can continue "its okay, dont say sorry just be a gentleman and do your best from here on, i already know your not a early riser"
You relax a bit more as you steady your heart beat, but something she said caught your attention you survey a question "wait, how do you know im not an early riser? Back in the day we would only ever get to meet up in the afternoons"
A smile creeps across her face as she looks over at you, she responds "well, let me show you" Lily grabs your arm and walks down the pier and leans on the railing. She points out into the distance towards your old rocky abode. Reaching into her bag she pulls out a pair of binoculars.
Lily looks over to you trying to look you in the eyes but too shy, too embarrassed to say anything.
All you can do is laugh. You laugh out a question "wait so youve been watching me this whole time?" Lily nods yes.
You then ask "so, you knew i smoked?" She nods yes still looking away scared of what youll say next.
You then interrogate her asking " so were you the one who would always sing to me?"
Her face begins to grow redder by the second still unable to look you in the eyes. But shes able to squeek out an answer "yes"
Many emotions fill your mind. But in the end the only thing your able to reply with is "I love you"
Finally, her eyes meet yours. Both of you staring passionately at one another. Her eyes look as if she was born of the stars. They shine brighter than even the moon. And theyre more radiant than the sun. You cant help but lean in, placing your hand at the nape of her neck. Pulling her in closer as you caress her cheek gently, she follows in pursuit reciprocating in kind. Each of you slowly closer ypur eyes as you move closer. Finally sharing a passionate kiss, embracing eachother wholeheartedly.
Once again, your mind begins to fade as all you can think about is her. Anxiety begins gnawing at you as you question whether you're doing it right. Your mind is raising however with ever passing second that you two are connected you find yourself becoming gentler, calmer more, relaxed.
She finally opens her eyes as you continue to melt into her being. She grabs your face, as you open your eyes. And yet the second your eyes open you're lost in the forest of her tranquilizingly mesmerizing emerald eyes.
As her hands grip the nape of your neck she slowly drags them down to your back gently dragging her delicate, painted nails lower to the small of your back as one hand pulls you in closer the other begins to draw unknown symbols along your upper back.
As you feel her slowly pawing at you, you follow in kind. Keeping one hand on the nape of her neck gently holding her as if she could fall apart at any moment like a castle of sand. You delicately and sensibly guide your hand lower and lower. Bringing her closer slowly. As your hand reaches the small of her back you grip her hip pulling her closer. Like animals shivering in the cold seeking warmth you both find yourselves sharing in each other's body's heat. The passion that burns like a raging furnace inside each of your hearts cannot be contained inside of your vessels. Emanating around you both, the cool air bites sharply at your bodies, reminding you both of where you are.
And yet just as the air cools your eternal flame, the fire grows evermore. Like the cycle of ouroborous, to be eaten and to eat. To feast on each other's desires burning hotter and hotter, as you thirst for more and more. The only thing that can quench one's thirst being the passion of another's flame, anticlimactic, isn't it?
As each of you pull away you find yourselves coming back for more. Again and again and again. Stars burn brighter and dim softly around you sparkling with every moment. The moon shines brightly upon the two of you as if you were on stage.
And yet, though your passion may burn like a radiant supernova. The night grows ever colder, the worry of your families cannot be ignored. The night may have just begun however it is time to part ways.
You both walk to her car, holding each other tightly, your warmth fighting against the stinging breeze. As you both find yourselves standing before her car. You open Lily's door, holding her hand softly as she takes a seat on her throne, though she deserves so much more than some measly throne. As she brings her legs into the car you close her door firmly for her and begin to lean on the hood of her car. The ignition starts and the engine begins to hum a tune of its own. Lily rolls down her window as you change positions leaning in the open space.
As the two of you stare at one another Lily expresses in a saddened tone "well, it looks like this is where we part ways for the night"
You respond in a desperate voice "will i be able to see you again?"
Her smile once again begins to form as she answers "i dont know, can i have another taste of your lips"
You lean into the car, slowly and passionately interlocking lips. She caresses your cheek softly as you both exchange a form of humanistic love. You pull away while still leaning inside of her car and say "nothing would make me happier than to experience you every second of my life"
A glimpse of light shines in both of your eyes as you continue to stare longingly at each other. Slowly you pull away from the car as her hand drags along your face, her nails pulling at any sensibility as they tingle along your skin. Scratching every right spot. Her arm stays extended as if a leash is tied around your neck. And yet, nothing felt more comfortable than being tied around her finger. For what is a cage if not a home for one's soul to rest comfortably trapped, however is it a cage if you willingly put yourself in it?
You can hear as Lily's car shifts into reverse as she backs out of her parking spot, her tires crispily crunching along the fine sand showered along the road.
Your heart aches as you watch your missing link drive away. Still through that pain you find solidarity in the fact that you'll be able to see her again, whether it be in your dreams or when you wake.
Once again with each step you make your way home, reliving each vivid detail. Shivering, not from the cold but from the adrenaline pumping through your veins. Oxygen circulating through your blood increasingly wakes you up causing you to be unable to think clearly. You calm your mind as you walk. The first deep breath in through your nose out through your mouth. The second deep breath, filling your lungs expanding and retracting. And the third and final breath, your lungs teetering, on the verge of bursting as you can feel your heart beat unsteadily, finally releasing the pressure building up allowing air to shoot out of your lungs, your heart rate dropping and steadily thumping in your chest at a low methodic rate.
Thankfully, you've made it home another night of excitement. Your mother left the light on so you can find your way even in the suffocating pitch black darkness that would completely consume the town if not for the streetlights.
You enter through the same door as usual, closing and locking it. Continuing on your path to rest your faced with your bedroom door. You slowly turn the doorknob and for a split second your reminded of your father laughing while sitting on your bed, holding your mothers hand as she smiles gleefully while standing across from him. Your sat on your bed as ghostly visitations of your siblings walk through you as you stand in the doorway, laughing as they dissipate. They're laughs ringing through the air, haunting you, reminding you. You look down clenching your fist as you bite your lip.
You can only take a few steps as you begin to fall, collapsing onto your bed, where you curl up in your blankets hugging them tightly as you fall asleep.
You wrap yourself in the blanket, dreaming that it's her soft, warm body feeling the blanket from top to bottom not knowing when she begins and ends.
Slowly growing clouds in your mind as you drift away. The innermost part of your mind calls you deeper and deeper until you're in a state of rem sleep. Your vision is blurry as you open your eyes in a state of vivid imagination.
You stand in the middle of nothingness that fills your mind, water as far as the eye can see. Stagnant as if nothing could disturb its endless peace. The sky is empty, the sea is clear, no fish, no birds, no planes, nothing. Clouds are obsolete in this space.
The moon begins to climb its way into your field of view, consuming your attention, bringing life to a once barren wasteland, beautiful yet empty, unfulfilled.
The sky is littered with stars as they dance across the all consuming sky. Reflecting like a mirror the gleam of each star brings more solidarity to your mind, reminding you of her.
The stars burn their life essence out just for you as they're eternal energy increasingly expands letting off great hints of lights spawning through the shadows of the great void, shining like the sun.
The sun shines through the drapes once again onto your eyes as you're forced and yet the timing couldn't be any better. Your eyes feel as if weights were attached to them, you feel good. You feel like you finally got a good night's rest. Rejuvenated you move towards the window looking out to the sun as it begins its descent upon your town. Just as God shall reign down his benevolence upon all those who know love.
The time is just right, finally, you can be on time. You find an outfit of your own design. You try to match your color scheme, you try to throw on something aesthetically pleasing so as to impress her.
Walking down the stairs your mother stands depressingly in the kitchen once again. Her eyes sunken as she tries to put on a smile. Looking over to you she begins to speak in an apathetic tone "hello sweety, you look nice where are you headed?"
You excitedly express "im going to the pier, im gonna be hanging out with Lily"
Your mother replies in a playful tone "ooh is she your girlfriend?"
In a softened tone you say "yeah, me and her have been seeing each other for a few days now"
"Damn! You got her?" She exerts
"Yup, what can I say? I just got it like that" chuckling out your response.
Your mother responds in a teasing voice "im sure you do, try not to let the ceiling fan chop at your inflated ego"
Goofily you join in "yeah but i dont think id be able to fit out the door, but in all seriousness i have zero clue how i got her, or what im doing"
Your mother laughs then simply says "look, a relationship isn't about knowing what you're doing, it's about having fun and basking in the presence of someone you can love and trust, now get out of here your blocking my view of the room im thinking of remodeling"
You try to respond "but what if"
She cuts you off saying "get out of my house, i dont wanna see you till tonight"
You try to retort "wait"
Once again cut off as she controls the conversation "bye"
Again trying to say something, however as you the words begin to form in your mouth your mother opens the door pushing you out while exclaiming one final time " i love you, BYE"
You yell in response as you find your balance "I love you too mom"
You pause for a second before beginning your journey to your home away from home.
It's cold out as a breeze strolls through the town as per usual. You quickly make your way to the pier where you can see Lily waiting for you. She's standing, leaning against one of the pillars of the archway. She notices you and begins making her way towards you. Lily doesn't speak, she simply grabs your hand and begins walking to the parking lot.
You question "what's going on? Where are we headed?"
She replies in a mischievous tone "don't worry about it, just trust me"
You do so as she guides you to her car while telling you "get in"
You enter the passenger seat while she enters the driver's seat. Lily turns the car on, the engine begins to hum as she reverses leaving her spot. Shifting into drive she accelerates leaving the beach in the rear view mirror.
The town grows distant as you both find yourselves on the outskirts. She drives on a road that was left abandoned a long, long time ago. The rubble along the road shaking the car causing both of your seats to bounce. The car is silent but she looks determined as you continue forming a questioning gaze.
Eventually after driving for what feels like forever you're met with mountains that seem to grow out into the sea, collapsing as if gaia had fallen on the spot. Creating lush, beautiful scenery. She peels off into a spot where she can park the car. As she parks she looks at you and says "were here, now get out"
You immediately unbuckle your seatbelt and exit the car confused but excited. She exits the car and as she walks over to you she begins to speak "so, it's beautiful isn't it?"
You respond "yeah its breath taking"
Her excitement builds in her voice as she says "as it should, now follow me"
You follow along obediently as she walks its thick ever growing brush the color reminds you of her eyes, peaceful yet unknown.
A path made through the shrubbery guides both of your steps as you make your way deeper into the forest. As she makes her way closer to the mountain there's an entrance hidden in the trees only allowing passage to those that have been blessed with an invitation.
As she enters the cave her arm beckons you closer. As you are guided closer you are welcomed into the entrance stepping through to what looks like another world.
Crystals grow like skyscrapers from the ground in randomized patterns, stalactiting from the ceiling and stretching across the open cavity of the mountain creating bridges of selenite mineral.
Bridges creating ladder like paths of humongous perfectly clear yet deeply whitened structures of old.
You stand there, amazed, captivated. Mesmerized. And yet she still shines like the brightest diamond among structures standing like giant pillars of an architect's life's works.
Lily begins to climb the towering bridge of beauty and sits along the guiding stone.
You follow along in quick, careful pursuit.
Climbing the towering maze of quartz like structures, sitting beside her.
She leans against you, warming you in the cold confined space. While the cave is imprisoning, it frees the soul.
Lily cuts through the eerie yet enjoyable silence by saying "so do you like it?"
You immediate in response reply "its, mesmerizing"
She follows up by saying "then why have you been staring at me this entire time?"
You blush slightly as you realize you've been caught.
You respond in a shy low deep voice "because even though I'm surrounded by all of this I can't help but keep my eyes on the most bewitching thing in here."
She replies "do you mean that?"
In quick response you say "from the bottom of my heart, with every fiber of my being. Yes"
She blushes in response looking away, nervously saying "shut up you idiot"
You move your body crawling on top of her. You begin to whisper in her ear as you kiss along her neck. "I yearn for you every night, remembering every detail of your entrancing beauty. Your radiant aura like that of the goddess aphrodity." Continuing to kiss along her neck as you gently caress her thigh. You begin to say "your scent is like an aphrodisiac for my soul, your eyes are like that of nature, you consume my being, my thoughts, you are my peace and my resolution" breath growing heavier as she places one hand on the back of your neck and the other begins to slowly make its make along your broad back. Her nails create scars that will be remembered in your every waking moment.
Holes in the roof of the cavern begin to shine through as beams of moonlight bounce off of each crystal radiating the room as the two of you begin to share in each other's embrace.
The heat of the cove begins to create steam rising through the cracks. Your brain takes in every last detail of her nervous expression and body as you begin to speak, echoing throughout the cave. "Can I love you for the rest of my life, basking in your presence, filling my every thought and prayer with you"
She replies after kissing you passionately "could i trust you with my heart, to keep it safe and protected? To love me as I deserve to be? To keep me in your heart forever?"
You whisper in her ear gently and in a low voice "to spend my days as your love, to carry you with me everywhere i go, to be a slave to your every demand, nothing would make me happier than to serve you, and give you my all"
The moon drifts across the black all consuming sea as stars shimmer even brighter than the days before filling the world with light even in the suffocating darkness that is the night. As the stars fade, as the moon hides itself. As the sun rises like a picturesque match in a room of no light. The both of you awoken by the chirping and calls of birds in the morning sky.
