Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Autopilot

As soon as I entered autopilot mode, I got a strange feeling all over my body. It was like I was moving on my own, but at the same time, I wasn't the one in control. It felt like everything was just a reaction—something you do without thinking.

I took one paper from the stack and started reading it. As soon as I gave it one singular glance, I put it down and took the next one, the information rushing into my brain as if I'd spent an entire hour trying to read and understand it.

It was a simple problem: fixing the sewer system in one of the neighborhoods. By the time my consciousness finished understanding what was in that paper, I had already read more than half of the first stack.

Despite the information rushing into my brain without me having the ability to distinguish between them, it didn't feel uncomfortable. When I tried to recall what I read in one of the papers, it felt like I was remembering something I'd already learned days ago.

In less than 15 minutes, the autopilot had read everything. Then it grabbed a pen from the desk drawer and started writing solutions, replying to the messages and requests.

After some time, while my body was still writing messages, a new message window appeared in front of my eyes—but the autopilot didn't seem to pay any attention. The weird thing was that the message wasn't the normal blue color; instead, it was a light pink.

[As the mayor of Hola city, you have to show your competence by visiting and evaluating the governmental establishments. Which one of these would you like to start with?]

[The Hola City Main Police Station or the Hola City Main Hospital.]

While it didn't show on Han's face because of the autopilot, he was furious.

'The fuck you mean competence, Mayor? If they wanted evaluation, let them visit me. Why is there no reject option?'

While Han was licking his wounds, the blue system window showed next to the pink one.

[You know you won't be able to collect or bond the other girls if you don't go out of the mansion, right?]

Despite the system's logical point, Han didn't care.

'If I want to go out, I'll go out on my own. I don't need the system to tell me what to do.'

But after a while, despite Han's refusal to accept, he had to give in and choose one of the two options.

But his acceptance didn't make it easier. Now he had an even harder question to answer.

'Sexy nurses or sexy detectives?'

For most people, this should be a stupid question, but for Han at this moment, it was a serious dilemma. Even though it didn't really matter since he had to go to both places anyway.

That didn't stop him from overthinking the fuck out of it. But his fantasy was stopped by the robotic voice of the system.

[The user shouldn't try to bond girls that are not a part of his mission.]

Han was caught off guard by the system message.

'Wait wait wait—why!!?? Don't tell me something stupid like, you will die if you try.'

Despite his panicked thoughts, the system continued.

[The host's soul is not strong enough to bind too many women for now. And the system won't help your power grow if you are with girls that are not a part of your mission.]

Han sighed a sigh of relief after hearing the system's answer and asked back,

'So what you're saying is, after I get strong enough, I can do whatever I want?'

[Yes, after you become strong enough, you can bind the entire city with no problem.]

Just thinking about that made Han's dick tremble.

'Oh, I understand what you mean. It doesn't matter if I choose the hospital or the police station—in the end, this entire city will be mine, so I don't need to worry.'

After saying that, Han pressed the first option and chose to go to the police station.

[How the hell did you reach that conclusion?]

Despite the system's questioning, the autopilot wrote a message and sent it to the police station using magic.

The message said that the mayor would visit the police station in the afternoon for a regular check-up.

After finishing writing the message, the autopilot put the pen back on the table and stopped. Han felt his body stop moving without his complete control. And then he looked at the mountain of paperwork that was done just now—he did all of it without even trying.

"Look at me, I finished all of this without even a sweat. I should have become the student council president."

Han looked at the clock. It was almost 12:00 p.m.

"And I finished all of the work in no time."

But cutting him off from his victory celebration was the sound of a door knock.

"Enter," he said almost automatically—a force of habit from his year at the academy when Kaylin visited his room almost three times a day.

Once he said that, a beautiful long black-haired girl wearing a maid outfit with a short skirt and big bosoms trying to escape from her bra entered the room.

"Master, I have prepared your lunch."

She was standing there talking with a straight face, even though her cheeks were redder than a tomato.

Seeing her red face aroused Han, but he still had to play it cool in front of the lady.

"Yes, I will be there in a second."

Robin waited for him at the door while he moved things around to make it look like he was doing something important in front of her. Then he stood up, and together they walked toward the dining room.
