Chapter 48: Encounter with Blue Ogre Dorry
At the foot of the massive mountain—
camon stood there with a large bundle of dinosaur fruits strapped to his back, having nowhere else to put them.
"Let's rest a bit and get something to eat. T. rex, go hunt a beast for us."
Jiang Qize sat down on a large rock and gave his order.
"Roar~" The Tyrannosaurus answered, stomping off into the forest with heavy steps.
Jiang Qize turned to little Robin.
"Robin, how's your development of the Flower-Flower Fruit coming along?"
"I… I've only reached fourfold blooming."
Little Robin lowered her head and spoke softly.
He patted her head gently and said, "The Flower-Flower Fruit lets you grow any part of your body like blooming petals anywhere you can see. You need to use your imagination. The strength of your flower hands depends on your own physical power, so don't neglect your body training."
"I understand, Captain."
Robin nodded firmly.
Jiang Qize gave a small nod in return.
The Flower-Flower Fruit had immense potential. If someone like Garp had eaten it, and a dozen of his arms appeared at once… the sheer strength could probably crush Kaido outright.
He then looked toward the pile of fruits on camon's back, an idea forming in his mind—though he wasn't sure if it could work.

The Tyrannosaurus returned, carrying a massive deer in its jaws.

The Raptor immediately began butchering the carcass.
His ability to morph his hands into blades proved invaluable in moments like this.
Before long, the air around the mountain base filled with the rich aroma of roasting meat.

The ground began to tremble faintly.
The sound came from afar.
Everyone froze, looking toward the source.
A massive human head slowly emerged into view.
"You're… a Giant?"
From the forest stepped an enormous man clad in armor, a golden helmet on his head, a long cape trailing behind him, and a massive sword in his hand. A thick, flowing beard hung from his chin.
The giant looked at the Raptor in puzzlement.
The Raptor turned toward his master.
Jiang Qize gave a faint nod and smiled.
A Giant from Little Garden—the legendary Blue Ogre Dorry, one of the two former captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates.
"I am a Giant," the Raptor rumbled, standing up to face him.
The Raptor stood fifteen meters tall, while Dorry loomed at twenty-two—a seven-meter difference that made the Raptor seem like a child gazing up at an adult.
"Ding-shishishi… you've left the village so young? How's the homeland these days?" Dorry asked warmly, smiling with genuine affection.
He had been stranded on this island for eighty years—so long since he'd seen another Giant, much less anyone from the outside world.
The Raptor said nothing.
Though he had intelligence now, it was still limited. He didn't know how to respond to such a complex question.
Seeing the younger one silent, Dorry chuckled, thinking he was just shy. He turned to Jiang Qize and the others.
"They your companions, lad?"
"Elder Dorry, I'm Jiang Qize, captain of the Dragonflame Pirates." Jiang Qize stood and greeted him with a smile.
"Ding-shishishi… didn't think anyone still remembered this old man's name."
Dorry let out a booming, friendly laugh.
"Who wouldn't know of the great Giant Warrior Pirates?"
"Ding-shishishi… there's no Giant Warrior Pirates anymore."
"As long as the two of you are still alive, it's still the Giant Warrior Pirates," Jiang Qize said with a grin. "Elder Dorry, why not sit down and share a meal with us?"
The Giant race was immensely powerful—each adult Giant could easily serve as a Marine Vice Admiral. Their physical strength and durability were on a whole different level.
Truth be told, Jiang Qize was hoping to recruit a Giant into his crew.
