Chapter 47: Dinosaur Fruit
"Roar—!"
The Tyrannosaurus roared furiously when it saw the smaller dinosaur daring to provoke it, charging forward with rage. Its massive jaws were at least a third larger than those of the heavy-clawed dragon.
As the two neared, the heavy-clawed dragon suddenly leaped high, its huge talons glinting coldly as they slashed downward.
Boom!!
The T. rex's gaping maw clamped down viciously.
Splat!
"Raaahhh!"
The heavy-clawed dragon let out a piercing shriek of agony. Both of its claws were bitten clean off—effortlessly.
The T. rex's unique ability was Savage Bite—each chomp carried a crushing force of twenty tons.
"Don't kill it!"
Jiang Qize shouted quickly.
He didn't know if the recycling function required a corpse or a living target. If it only worked on the living, killing it would be a waste.
Hearing his command, the Tyrannosaurus paused.
The Raptor reacted immediately—taking a great stride forward, pressing both hands onto the heavy-clawed dragon's head, and slamming it down.
Bang!
The heavy-clawed dragon's skull smashed into the ground with a thunderous crash. Its head buzzed, and it stopped moving entirely.
Jiang Qize approached, placing his hand on the creature's body.
[Ding! Recycle this target?]
"Recycle," he thought silently.
In an instant, the heavy-clawed dragon dissolved into light, which gathered in his hand—forming into a fruit unlike any ordinary Devil Fruit.
It was about the size of a fist, shaped like an apple, its skin etched with a vivid image of a heavy-clawed dragon.
"What a shame. If only the system had an inventory—I can't keep carrying things like this."
Jiang Qize muttered to himself.
But that clearly wasn't going to happen; the system hadn't provided him with any kind of storage function.
"camon, this fruit will let you transform into the dinosaur we just fought. Do you want it?" he asked.
"Captain… this… you're giving it to me?" camon said in disbelief, eyes wide with shock and joy. His heart was pounding with excitement.
"Yeah." Jiang Qize nodded.
"If I eat it… can I turn back?" camon asked nervously.
"Don't worry—it's just like a Devil Fruit."
"Then I'll eat it!"
This was a chance to change his fate. He didn't want to stay a mere logistic hand forever—he had his own dreams.
"Alright, go ahead." Jiang Qize tossed the heavy-clawed dragon fruit to him.
camon caught it with trembling hands. Under everyone's gaze, he took a deep bite.
Swoosh!
The fruit burst into light, streaming into his mouth.
camon froze for a moment as beams of light shot from his eyes. Then, a look of wild joy spread across his face.
"Raaahhh!"
He let out a beastly roar—and his body rapidly expanded.
Rumble!!
The ground quaked as a heavy-clawed dragon nearly ten meters long appeared in his place—identical to the one from before, except its eyes now held intelligence rather than savagery.
camon looked down at his massive body, then shifted back into human form.
"Thank you, Captain!"
He dropped to one knee, eyes blazing with fervor as he looked at Jiang Qize.
"Get up."
Jiang Qize nodded in satisfaction. The fruit's power had manifested—and now its user would never betray him.
"Do you fear water?" he suddenly asked.
"No," camon replied, shaking his head.
"Good."
That meant these fruits were even better than Devil Fruits—no fatal weaknesses.
The only downside was that they didn't grant him any attribute feedback.
To gain those, he still needed to summon dinosaurs himself.
"Let's move on."

From then on, they continued pushing forward, cutting down ancient beasts—saber-toothed tigers, mammoths, titanic serpents—and most of all, dinosaurs.
Three hours later, they finally stood before a towering mountain peak.
