Deris entered the city, and after moving through the crowd, he was in a small alley. His clothes were as simple as possible. No one would ever doubt him. In the alley, he met with his spy.
"They have been inside that hotel for quite a time. I have been here, watching them, but they never came out. Some hours ago, I saw a bright flash in one of the rooms. Since then, they haven't been back."
'A bright flash? Teleportation magic? But wasn't it banned?' Deris thought.
"Fine…Wait here and keep watching for them. Send me a word when they leave and move." Deris ordered.
But before he was about to leave, he saw a flash in one of the rooms.
"There…Again…"
Deris kept looking at the room and then at his spy.
Wallis gathered everyone and teleported them back to the hotel room.
"Congrats, Master Felmer, you passed the second trial. Now, solve the third clue and find the third sky. My work here is done…So leave…" Wallis said with a smile.
Everyone looked at him. And then they got up. As they left the room, Wallis called them.
"Your hunters are still outside. So, be careful…" Wallis said, and then he teleported somewhere.
The squad left the hotel. The sun was setting, and the night was coming. As they left, Elna stopped them.
"Where are we going next?"
They looked at each other. They hadn't solved the poem, so they were unaware of their next location.
"We will spend the night here, solve the third clue and then set off tomorrow," Elna ordered and entered the hotel again.
The rest followed her, and they were in the room again.
After dinner, they gathered around a map and placed the clue paper in the centre of it. Elna looked closely at it, trying to understand its meaning.
"By the dead, who were weighed but not buried, we can assume it's an old battlefield. The second tells the same. But…" Elna stopped, looking at the third and fourth lines.
"Walk back through the broken hour. The mark appears when time refuses." Felmer read it aloud. "What could this mean?"
"The first two are telling the location, and the third and fourth are giving the procedure to obtain the next rock and the fourth clue." Captain Irnik said, his hand on his chin. "We should find the location. The third sky will explain the procedure. Like always…" He looked at the rest.
"Hmmm…Seems right…" Felmer replied.
"Old battlefields. There are tons of them…" Melfer said.
"All locations have been somehow related to Cerfis. So this one would be that as well. The most prominent are the Cerfal plains." Felmer said.
"No…Those plains are currently in Falvaria. If my memory isn't mistaken, besides that, there are two more. One is the location, which we call the Western district. And the other is in Hormis. Lord Emayla and Larnet both participated in that battle. After the Great War of Fin, it is the biggest battle in history. Million vs million."
"The western district?" Felmer was shocked.
"Cerfis fought against Tarmil and took that region approximately 250 years ago." The captain answered.
Felmer nodded and looked at the map. "So we go to Hormis now"
"It seems so…It isn't very far. It's close to here. Almost a half-day travel." Elna said, looking at the map.
"Also, it is almost uninhabited. So it can be the location for a trial like this." Captain Irnik added.
"So, we'll go there tomorrow. Rest and be ready…"
All of them nodded and went to sleep.
