Another time Leo forced Renfield to block melting through even more of the sword. Now the grove was half way through the sword. "Damn it. Damn it! Charles you need to keep your cool unlike that mindless brute in front of you." Charles said.
"Mindless brute!" Leo roared; he seemingly fell for the taunt. Maybe he is just that arrogant? Probably Sebastian when he was younger was a hot head leading him to fight two Greater Dragon. Lux and Umbra still have scars from that fight. Nothing can beat a Noble Greater Dragon; these are the pillars of creations. Leo charged once again.
"Phantom Bullet." Charles said as the bullet merely fell off his skin.
"Divine Solar Swing." Leo said his blade was over his head as it came down like a judgment from the heavens. It almost caught Charles. But he was barely able to get out of the way. His right side of his face was covered in first degree burns. There were a ruby red.
"Starlight: Heal." Charles muttered I could barely hear him above the roaring flames. Leo seemed not to hear him. As heat and flames formed above Leo's head. I see it compacting into about the size of a basketball.
"Divine Sun." Leo said as it seemed to grow twice as big. He was still fueling this attack. Flames and heat entered it like water would enter a tsunami. Then suddenly Leo pointing at Charles the flaming ball of fire was launched. Charles started to run out of the way. BOOM! A massive explosion shook the forest. It caused flames to cover the ground.
"Charles!" I yelled I was worried about him. Why does everyone I love disappear? First Nile and now Charles.
"Hahaha! That's a good attack." A voice spoke above the roaring flames. As Charles covered in third degree burns as well some fourth degree burns showing his bones.
"How are you still alive?" Leo asked, looking at the half dead Charles. He was still holding Renfield.
"Well I used my Greater Heal. I thank you for helping me figure it out." Charles said with a bow to Leo.
"What do you mean?" Leo asked if I was just as confused as me.
"Heal works by patching wounds from the outside. But Greater Heal now works from inside to out." Charles said with a smile. It makes sense it heals inside of the wound it can fix deeper wounds without causing any debris to be sealed inside. It also means it would heal the user quicker. But I am also guessing he heavily reinforced his body with Starlight.
"That makes no sense." Leo said. Snarling at the still living Charles.
"Starlight: Greater Heal." As I see all the burns heal as if he was growing skin back. Then he looked fully healthy again.
"I heard when monsters are pushed to the edge of death they grow to survive." A voice said it was true wait there someone else here. Looking around I saw a black hair individual kneeling far away from the fight watching.
"I mean he is right to compare Charles to a monster. His father is Hellsing." I agreed with his comment.
"Just how much luck do you have?" Leo said but it sounded more like an order. With this Charles shrugged.
"Great, he is trying to get him to lose his temper. What an interesting strategy." Once again that weird person spoke. His smile was huge. It was as if he was watching a hero.
"Answer me!" Leo roared. Charging at Charles. As he forced another clash of the blades. But then something happened. Renfield was cut through. A deep carving slash caused Charles' blood to run like a river.
"Renfield. Renfield! Renfield!" Charles drops to his knees grabbing both pieces of his sword. Tears rushed down his face. A sword is his prize possession.
"Bastard." Leo said, kicking Charles. He landed far away from his sword. Then Leo stomps on the sword. "Swords are just tools." Leo stated but then he looked at Charles.
"Arrrrgh!" Charles roared, Starlight burst all around him. But it condenses into an armor-like glow. "You will feel pain." Charles said. It was a promise. Leo was shaking.
"You were holding back." Leo said as then he saw Charles' eye glowing a pure yellow. His hair had turned a pale white.
"Starlight: Whirlwind!" Charles roared as a gale had started and the wind rushed past me. It was hard to fly. It suffocated all of Leo's flames. Out of his pillar of Sunlight like a candle being blown out.
"Divine Solar Spear: Gungir!" Leo yelled. But nothing happened without his sunlight around his blade he can't do his attack. Charles took a step closer. The wind on me is less chaotic. Charles took another step closer and Leo had to crouch to not be blown away. He was covering his face with his arms.
"Interesting." That person said with a smile on his face. As a blast of Starlight crashed into Leo's side knocking him into a tree then another blast of Starlight hit him up. It was invisible because it was infused with the wind. I could sense it. As well, probably that person down there could also sense it.
"Is this the power of a god?" Both Leo and the black hair person said. What did they mean god? Lesser Dragons can do this, it is called their Chaos Domain. My brother has been trying to copy it for the last thousands years. It gave the Dragon an unfair advantage over everyone else and Charles naturally created a lesser version of it as if it was written into his DNA.
"I will land five strikes with Renfield if you live then good for you. But you then will work for me as a servant." Charles said. As Renfield flew into Charles had.
"Please let me live-" Leo's words were cut off by the first slash. It was a deep slash his blood was now flying in the whirlwind of Starlight.
