BOOM! Another explosion of flames from Leo attacks. Leo's sword had flames dancing on it. Charles still had the slash mark on his chest. "Why is it taking so long to heal?" Charles questioned.
"Divine Inferno." Leo roared. As flames form a sphere. It glowed brightly. It shrunk for a short time before rapidly expanding. Charring the earth below. Small fires covered the ground.
"You know that attack will never land." Charles commented and of course Leo flames glowed even more brightly.
"Diiiie!" Leo yelled, his booming voice carried throughout the snowy forest. The only two living things in this forest are them. Charles then blocked an overhead swing and Renfield started to glow red hot. He put both hands on the sword and was barely able to deflect the blow. About a quarter of Renfield thickness was cut through. Charles snarled.
"Damn you, did you know this was my first gift when I turned eleven. To damage it is a sin." Charles snarled he was really mad. He thrusted the sword Leo barely was able to block. Charles quickly jumped back.
"Stop dodging." Leo growled at Charles. Swing his sword into the ground. As flames rushed through the ground. Charles dodged.
"Missed-" Charles said but was quickly cut off by Leo he was right next to him.
"Divine Solar Swing." Leo said his yellowed eyes glowed brighter than the flames. Flames erupted from his blade as he swung down. Charles jumped back but his arm was burned still holding onto Renfield.
"Bastard." Charles snarled at Leo. The burns on his arm started to heal rapidly. "You're wasting so much energy but you're still launching attacks like it's nothing. Is this how I was?" Charles asked himself.
"You're nothing like me." Leo said looking at Charles he had finished healing. That where he was wrong both of them are alike in most ways just Leo like a less evolved version.
"But we are so alike." Charles said with a cruel smile on his face.
"Nooo!" Leo roared. Flames burst from around him growing even hotter. Looks like he was losing his cool. He attacked like a ravenous animal.
"Wow, such a wild beast." Charles said as his leg glowed with a bit more of a glow. Kicking Leo in the stomach making him fall back. "You're just as weak as me." Charles said as a pillar of flames appeared.
"I am Nothing LIke YOU!" Leo roared as he was in the center of the pillar of flames. Then whipped out all around him. Burning everything yet Charles managed to the damage to a minimum having only a few second degree burns on his skin. That only again started to heal rapidly.
"But you are. You are weak." Charles insulted Leo making him even less stable. Leo was foaming from the mouth like a wild animal. But the foam was evaporating.
"No I am not!" Leo roared out. The flaming pillar began to grow even more wild and untamed. As he charged at Charles. Charles blocked the sword slash with Renfield. Slowly the metal turned blood red. A few drops started to drip off the sword.
"Renfield!" Charles yells quickly deflecting the blow by allowing it to cut down his leg. It was quite a deep cut. As Starlight filled the wound it would take some time to heal. Now Renfield was half way cut through. Everytime he gets in a contest of strength with Leo his blade gets melted through even more.
"To care about one sword beyond yourself, a sword is just a tool." Leo said with a fanged smile.
"It may be to you but this sword carries all the memories of my life." Charles snarled at Leo and seemed disgusted at the words of Leo. Why was he so attached to Renfield?
"The way of the weak." Leo said with a mocking tone.
"Funny cause last time I checked I was still undefeated." Charles said with a smile at Leo trying to get under his skin. Leo's face was filled with rage.
"No, not for long." Leo stated as if it was a fact. He once again charged at Charles. Charles ducted under the slash. I felt the heat form the air.
"Damn still miss this range, do I need to get you glasses?" Charles asked with a mocking tone. He rolled out of the way of an overhead swing. Leo seemed to get even angrier at this comment about him.
"Divine Inferno." Leo said this as flames started to form a combat sphere. Then it burst open into flames. It was even more blinding than before. Charles was able to get out of range in time. But it seemed it still gave Charles a few first degree burns.
"I swear you're getting stronger instead of weaker." Charles said as Leo grin grew even bigger.
"Well yes I have a large amount of sunlight but it seems as if you have quite a small amount of moonlight." Leo said in a mocking manner. Flames were curling around him like armor. Before suddenly becoming more loose like a cloak.
"Really okay whatever you say." Charles said with a somber tone. Wow he got good at faking his emotions. Leo seemed to glow with pride. "I just learned about this stuff." Charles muttered but it was still loud enough for Leo to hear. Leo started to chuckle.
"This means you're barely a threat." Leo said with a small smile his voice dripping with pride. As once again he charged.
"Where did you find to lie so well?" I said without thinking. Then after a second of thought his sibling especially the shady ones like Lux and Marionette.
"How dare you compare yourself to me. You are weak." Leo taunts as he lets out a laugh. This person is arrogant.
"Well last time I checked I am still standing." Charles said with a smile. As Leo started to fall for the taunt.
"How dare you!" Leo said letting out a deep growl. As the flames on the sword were spiraling like whirlpools.
"What the hell." Charles said. With a frown on his face.
