Chapter 45 - Chapter 44

Roy's Mansion – Evening

The mansion was alive with soft music, warm lights, and the gentle murmur of conversation. Roy sat at the grand dining table, surrounded by his girls—Grayfia, Velgrynd, Velzard, Scáthach, Sif, Amora, Lorelei, Hela, Infinity, Death, and Natasha. They had just finished a casual game of strategy, and everyone was enjoying tea and light snacks.

Suddenly, the air shimmered, and a holographic projection appeared above the table. The familiar, comforting presence of Frigga materialized, her eyes glinting with concern and wisdom.

Frigga: "Roy… I bring news. Loki… your brother… has fallen."

Roy stiffened. The girls immediately sensed the tension, and their gazes turned toward Death, standing calmly at the side of the room.

Grayfia: "Is… Loki dead?"

Velgrynd: "Tell us! Is he really gone?"

Even Roy's usually calm demeanor tensed slightly. He looked at Death, whose dark eyes met his.

Death: shakes his head slowly

Roy: "What… what do you mean he's not dead?"

Death: "He fell, yes… but he is not gone. He survives in ways you do not yet understand."

A collective sigh of relief swept through the room. Frigga's hologram softened into a smile, though a hint of worry lingered in her eyes.

Frigga: "That is a relief… though you must all remain vigilant. Loki has a way of returning when least expected."

Roy leaned back, a small smirk tugging at his lips.

Roy: "Then he owes me a proper greeting when he finally decides to show up."

The girls chuckled softly, the tension lifting. Even Death's usual somber presence seemed to relax.

Hela (smirking): "Sounds like the Asgardian chaos never ends… and now I understand why Roy enjoys watching from a distance."

Roy: "Exactly. Now, everyone, let's focus on dinner—I've got something special cooking tonight."

The room filled with laughter and warmth again, but deep in the shadows, Death's eyes lingered on Roy for a moment—a silent acknowledgment of the balance between life and death that the young Primordial Shadow Dragon maintained effortlessly.

Frigga's hologram flickered softly as she said one last word:

Frigga: "Take care of your family, Roy… as I know you will."

With that, she faded from view.

The mansion settled into a comforting rhythm once more, the knowledge that Loki survived bringing a sense of relief—and a subtle spark of anticipation for what would come next.

Chapter 45

Roy's Life After Loki's Safety

After sensing that Loki was truly safe, Roy felt a rare, deep sense of calm. The following months were spent in blissful normalcy—at least by his extraordinary standards.

Roy and his lovers—Grayfia, Velgrynd, Velzard, Scáthach, Sif, Amora, Lorelei, Hela, Death, Infinity, and Natasha—explored the world together. They went on elegant dates, watched movies in theaters that catered to even the most secretive and powerful guests, and dined at exquisite restaurants where royally infused delicacies met the finest earthly cuisines.

Natasha, now fully imbued with Roy's blessing and her Umbral Draconic Ascendant bloodline, occasionally left on missions. Roy never worried—he knew her skills and her potential to survive the most perilous situations. And every time she returned, he would greet her with warmth, ensuring she felt a part of his extraordinary family and life.

Roy also maintained a friendly, casual relationship with Tony Stark. They attended parties, shared laughs over extravagant meals, and occasionally engaged in friendly competitions. The two shared a camaraderie built on mutual respect and trust, though neither fully understood the depths of the other's secret world.

A few days ago, a call came from Nick Fury. Roy answered casually, expecting another mission report or trivial update.

Fury: "Roy… I know who you really are."

Roy chuckled softly, leaning back in his chair, his silver hair catching the dim light.

Roy: "Nick… I've never had any interest in conquering or ruling. I just want to live my life with my loves, my family, and the freedom to enjoy it."

Fury paused for a moment, then nodded.

Fury: "Understood. Beside Maria Hill and myself, no one in S.H.I.E.L.D. has any record of your identity. And… you can thank me for the extensive investigation I've decided not to document."

Roy's faint smirk widened into a satisfied smile.

Roy: "I appreciate that. Very much."

What Roy didn't know—and what Fury never mentioned—was that the reason for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s discretion was more than mere respect. Fury had uncovered clues during his investigation: many of the children and families Roy had saved in the past had grown into influential figures, and those same families had been protected, directly or indirectly, by Roy's interventions. Fury had pieced together that Roy's life was not about domination or conquest—it was about balance, protection, and the care of those who could not defend themselves. That silent realization was what made Fury decide never to record the details of Roy's existence in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files.

Roy ended the call, unaware of the full truth, and glanced at his lovers lounging comfortably around him.

Roy (thinking): Let them live, love, and laugh. Let me just keep enjoying this life…

The mansion hummed with life, laughter, and the quiet warmth of an extraordinary family that no one in the universe could ever fully comprehend—but Roy, in all his power and wisdom, cherished it more than any throne or conquest could ever offer.
