Chapter 46 - Chapter 45

At Stark Tower

Roy stepped into Stark Tower, welcomed by the bright, high-tech interior and the familiar scent of state-of-the-art machinery. Tony Stark immediately began bragging about his latest masterpiece, pacing back and forth with his usual energy.

Tony: "Look at this! Every detail, every line, it's perfect—probably the best thing I've ever built. I call it… well, you'll see!"

Roy and Pepper exchanged amused glances. Pepper chuckled at Tony's antics while Roy teased him lightly.

Roy: "You do realize Tony, perfection is subjective… but I suppose it suits your ego."

Tony grinned but ignored the jab, as J.A.R.V.I.S. interrupted.

J.A.R.V.I.S.: "Sir, Agent Coulson has requested a meeting."

Tony: "Coulson? He's going to think I'm dead or not here."

Before J.A.R.V.I.S. could explain further, Phil Coulson appeared at the door.

Tony: "Security breach!"

Roy couldn't help but grin.

Roy: "Oh, Tony… your theatrics never fail."

Pepper laughed quietly from the side as Coulson handed a file to Tony. Roy greeted him politely.

Roy: "So, Phil… how was meeting the blonde-haired muscle head in the desert?"

Phil smiled wryly, recounting the encounter. Roy and Pepper both found the description hilarious.

Phil: "Is Thor really your brother?"

Roy chuckled and shook his head.

Roy: "I was adopted—but yes, that muscle head is my brother."

Tony waved for Roy and Pepper to follow him.

Tony: "Excuse us, I've got to show you this."

Pepper glanced curiously.

Pepper: "What is this?"

Tony opened a file revealing detailed notes and schematics about Thor, Mjolnir, and the desert encounter. Roy perused the information, nodding slightly at the details.

Pepper: "I've got a meeting at DC, and a ton of homework waiting. Time to go!"

Roy nodded in agreement, smiling at her busy schedule. Coulson and Pepper left the tower together.

Left alone, Tony turned to Roy.

Tony: "Alright… now, about the Tesseract. I've been digging through its properties, but it's… complicated."

Roy: "The Tesseract is not just a cube—it's a source of immense power. It can open portals across dimensions and manipulate energy at a cosmic scale. Let me help you with your homework."

For the next few hours, Roy patiently guided Tony through the mysteries of the Tesseract, explaining the fundamentals of its energy and dimensional properties while Tony listened, half in awe, half in frustration. By the end, Tony looked exhausted but enlightened.

Tony: "Okay… I get it. You're insane. Absolutely insane."

Roy: "And yet, brilliant. Don't forget, Tony, understanding is the first step to control."

Tony laughed, shaking his head, and the two friends moved on to more technical discussions, with Roy occasionally teasing him about his over-the-top ego and Pepper smiling from afar, enjoying the show.
