Chapter 12 - Chapter 11

Roy at 500 Years: The Hidden Monster of Asgard

Roy sat on the balcony of his chamber, the night sky of Asgard shimmering with stardust. For the first time in centuries, he allowed himself to relax—and opened his system panel.

Roy's Reaction

Roy smiled softly.

"Five hundred years… and I finally reached 40%."

For another being, 40% of the Shadow Monarch template would have been enough to eclipse most gods. For Roy, it was only a milestone—one he had earned through silent, relentless effort.

For 500 years he had:

Trained with Yamato until its edge felt like his own breath Forged weapons worthy of gods in secret Mastered runes older than the World Tree Learned to bend space as easily as opening a door Created magic constructs that could rival dwarven enchantments Manipulated illusions even Loki could not see through Perfected every weapon style

And deeper still—

Rules Authority.

A power that let him pressure beings far stronger than Odin himself…

Though no one had ever seen Roy use it.

Quiet Bonds Becoming Powerful Emotions

During these centuries, Roy was rarely seen outside his room except for three reasons:

1. Spending Time With Sif

He trained her with Yamato-style discipline.

Her swordsmanship became elegant, lethal, fluid.

She always blushed when Roy gently corrected her wrist or stance.

She knew she loved him.

She simply didn't know how to say it.

2. Training Amora & Lorelei

He strengthened their natural talents:

Amora's magic became sharp, precise, deadly Lorelei's control over charm magic evolved into something far greater—magic that influences emotions, not minds

Both women fell deeply in love with him.

But neither dared confess.

When Roy smiled at them, their hearts always tightened.

3. Quiet companionship

Movies from Earth (summoned).

Books.

Sparring.

Laughter.

Moments they treasured.

Their bonds with Roy grew into something unshakable.

Thor & Loki's Growth

After years of Odin's relentless training:

Thor finally broke through to Surface LevelLoki, through discipline and cleverness, followed soon after

Odin was proud.

A feast was held.

Songs filled the golden halls of Asgard.

And then…

A few years later…

Roy approached Odin.

Calm.

Soft spoken.

"Father, I have… broken through. I reached Surface Level."

Odin's heart swelled with pride.

"Good! Good! My sons all walk the path of power."

He had no idea that Roy's true level was already thousands of times higher than Thor or Loki.

The Great Lie of Asgard

In the past five centuries, Odin tested his sons endlessly.

Strength.

Magic.

Strategy.

Endurance.

Thor always ranked first.

Loki second.

Roy third—barely.

The rumors spread fast:

"The youngest prince is the weakest."

"Poor thing, he inherited none of Odin's strength."

"Maybe Asgard doesn't need him."

Roy didn't mind.

It was exactly what he wanted.

He smiled every time someone called him weak.

"If they think I'm useless… then no one will force the throne on me."

Only one person did not believe the lie.

Frigga.

A mother's eyes see everything.

She alone understood that Roy was hiding—

Hiding for peace, not out of fear.

A Private Conversation With Frigga

One night, when Roy was already five centuries old, Frigga called him to her chamber. No guards. No servants. No interruptions.

No one knows what they spoke about.

But when Roy left her room, his eyes were softer.

And from that day on—

He visited his mother more.

Spent quiet time with her.

Walked with her in the gardens.

Listened to her stories of magic and fate.

Frigga was happy—genuinely happy.

Because she understood the truth:

Her son was destined for greatness far beyond Asgard…

but he still wanted to be her child.
