The sound of metal clashes rang in their ears, " Hidan, are you okay?" Kakuzu asked in mock concern.
"Yeah, I'm used to having kunai piercing my throat–of course I'm not ok damn it!" He snapped.
Yugito was momentarily shocked until a hand grasped her shoulder, turning to the culprit, she saw a tall man with wild black hair, skin, and red eyes that unsettled her. "Who are y–"

The Akatsuki members looked at the intruder with annoyance. Hidan spoke first," Did you do this?" Gesturing to the kunai still clogged in his neck.
"That? Not me–her." He nodded behind them.

Serpents coiled around the rogue nin, biting down on their collarbone to release the poison in their fangs.
"Ouch!" Hidan groaned as the scaled creature clamped down on him.
Kakuzu tried to break out of the hold but felt movement in his limbs, linger." Poison?"
"That's right ~" Anko purred, a giant white snake around her, tongue tasting the air like a summons. Tayuya and Kin were positioned on both exits, hands on explosive tags that Yugito nearly activated.
"She really was planning on trapping herself with these zombie freaks. " Tayuya snorted.
"Not like our plan is any better." Kin sighed.
"Leaf bastards!" Yugito cursed at them, struggling in Taiju's embrace. "Let go of me before I kill you along with them." She threatened.
"Can't let you do that kitty cat~" Taiju teased, giving Anko the signal. She erected her index and middle fingers to the sky, and Tayuya and Kin followed suit.

The sewer system was set ablaze by an explosive jutsu with enough fire to destroy a small village, a forbidden jutsu that Taiju acquired under special circumstances, which he uses in dire need.
