[Raikage's office]
The 4th Raikage, a muscular dark-skinned man with yellow cornrows and equally coloured facial hair. Lord Fourth looked with anger at the shinobi before him, not only the fact that they're from Konoha but also put 3 of his shinobi to medical care and are using his Jinchuuriki as a bargaining chip after rescuing her.
Lord Fourth scowled, " You have some nerves to stand before me and try to negotiate peace after the mess you caused."
Taiju, Tayuya, Kin, and Anko stood in front of the Kage, room swarming with Anbu from the cloud, the Konoha nin were unaffected by the situation.
Taiju cleared his voice," Actually Lord Fourth, we would like to negotiate our service to your country with the unfortunate confrontation." He reasoned, pointing his thumb to Yugito, " We were ordered to assist with the Jinchuuriki's disappearance and we did, but as we were returning to Kumokagure, we experienced a minor misunderstanding with your Jonin and had to defend ourselves."
"Bull shxt!" The Raikage slammed his hand on his desk, sounding echoing throughout the room. Mabui, his brown-skinned beauty of an assistant, slightly jolted, clutching documents to her chest.
"Lord Fourth...that's the 3rd table this month." She spoke.
Ignoring her words, he stood up, roaming over Taiju and his squad, lightning sparkling across his body, each sizzle would bring pain.
Taiju raised his hands in submission, "We only did what's necessary as soldiers, we actually did according to the situation, and it could've been worse if we had decided to kidnap her back to our village." He reasoned.
"What are you getting at kid?" Lord Fourth, pressuring him.
"I believe our village's past doesn't have to ruin this moment...think of it as an opportunity to forget past crimes and focus on the benefits of working together. " Taiju presented.
Lord Fourth looked at the audacious boy, he could kill them and deal with the minor consequences. "Your lives were spared because I was enlightened by your speech."
The Fourth announced.
The kunoichi let out breaths, relief passing at the turn of events.
"You have a day of rest and I expect you out of my village. "
"Understood. " They said in harmony.
[Next day]
The team took advantage of the Raikage's kindness and rested. The following morning was spent exploring the Cloud Nation, trying out foods and tourist attractions. To their surprise, the people were very welcoming compared to their Jonin. They went to a barbecue shop to bond. It was cute mayhem. Sitting together like a little pack of pups, Taiju was squashed by the girls, Tayuya on his left, shoving bits into his mouth, wanting his opinion just to scoff it off, Anko on his right, arm between her breasts, snuggly tucked as she watched him try not to peek.
"It's funny how hard you try not to be a prude, Taiju~" She laughed, stealing from his plate and Kin on Anko's left was close enough to feel the warmth and maintain her own boundaries, "Pass the spy sauce, Tayuya. " She asked.
Taiju couldn't help but be smug at his position, men glaring, women blushing at the shameless display. "This is worth Danzo's scolding. " He chuckled.
"Oi–don't be smug cause we let you be...this is just a convenience." Tayuya exclusively said.
The door opened as a new bunch entered the barbecue joint, glancing over, Anko saw the Kumo nin they had fought earlier.
"Look what we have here." She hummed.
Yugito's ground arrived, trying their hardest not to glare at the Konoha folk,
Karui glared daggers at Tayuya, who stuck out her tongue in response.
Samui looked at Taiju as they sat down, stoic expression just observing him.
"Hey–why is blondie staring at you." Anko whispered.
Kin sulked,scooting close to them," Focus here Captain, I wouldn't want to leave you bleeding on the way home." She warned in a sweet voice,the type that meant a senbon to places thst take too long to extract.
"Of course Kin-chan." He gulped, nodding in obedience.
"Good." Kin nodded, approving his obedience.
"Let's see how long this "peace" lasts. " Tayuya chuckled, stabbing into beef like a butcher before shoving it into his mouth.
"Mhmff–" He choked out,keeping the food in his mouth.
"Just shut up and eat." Tayuya ordered.
