"It's not an illusion! Someone really did use Apparition!"
Argus's gaze was fixed on Lucius's direction.
His Apparition skill level was the highest among all his spells.
Level 8—even professors might not have been able to match it!
If you could only perceive subtle fluctuations, then...
"It's Dobby! I almost forgot about the Malfoys' house-elf!"
"It was his doing that prevented Harry from getting into school!"
"However, how did he know something was going to happen at Hogwarts?"
"Could it be that recognizing Voldemort's diary is the problem? No, I remember in the original book, Dobby was already messing with Harry before Lucius put the diary with Ginny."
Argus was filled with doubt.
When he looked up again, the game had already started.
Slytherin and Gryffindor had fought before and were sworn enemies!
The intensity of this battle was unprecedented.
He was still in the infirmary because of a fight with the Gryffindor Seekers.
Harry and Draco, this pair, were once again facing a love-hate rivalry.
On the pitch, the speed of the Quaffle and the Bludger was practically murderous.
Even from the stands, Argus could feel the howling wind!
"With Flint's temper, he won't stop until he's knocked a few people out of the way!"
"He and Wood just had a fight not long ago. If they meet again now, they'll probably beat each other's heads in!"
"I reckon after this match, quite a few Gryffindor and Slytherin students will be heading to the infirmary again..."
...
On the field.
Flint and Wood, as captains of their respective teams, kept clashing together.
Whether there was a ball or not, they just went for the person!
Both teams were the mainstays of the last battle, and this time they were bitter enemies meeting again.
Even the Gryffindors, who were usually very disciplined when playing, couldn't help but get fired up at this moment.
The crowd in the stands was terrified.
Professor McGonagall even stood up, ready to step in and help at any moment.
As time went on, the battle between Slytherin and Gryffindor intensified.
Gryffindor had a large number of girls, and they hadn't been exposed to similar tactics much.
The tide gradually turned, and several people were almost knocked off their flying brooms, drawing gasps from the stands.
The score gap began to widen.
The ratio changed from 30 to 40 to 30 to 90!
With a sixty-point gap, unless Harry could catch the Golden Snitch in a short time, Gryffindor would still be unable to escape defeat even if Harry ended the game.
"Harry, let's have a real showdown this time!"
Draco seemed very excited.
He and Harry were almost at the same height.
The difference was that Harry's eyes anxiously scanned his surroundings, while Draco seemed completely at ease.
Whoosh!
The ball hurtled across Harry's scalp.
It startled him.
The ball hit the high platform, and the wooden structure was pierced through!
"Draco, stop wasting time talking to him and find the Golden Snitch as soon as possible!"
Flint flew to Draco and gestured with his eyes to Argus and Lucius in the stands.
"You don't want to disappoint the Chief Executive and your father, do you?"
"They're all watching from the stands!"
After saying that, he charged at the Gryffindor players again.
The subsequent actions against Harry were even more swift.
The balls were being thrown at him like they were free.
Just then, the Golden Snitch appeared!
The position was clever, right behind Draco, in his blind spot!
Harry had sharp eyes and charged toward the Golden Snitch without hesitation.
Draco instinctively flinched, then quickly realized what was happening and followed closely behind.
Taking advantage of his flying broomstick, Draco quickly left Harry behind.
Even though Harry's flying talent was superior to Draco's, the difference between their flying brooms was an insurmountable gap.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
As the two flew into the narrow passage, the Bludger blasted through the walls one after another.
This greatly slowed down their pursuit.
More importantly, a Bludger inexplicably followed closely behind the two.
And it flew towards the two of them at an extremely fast speed!
"Get out of the way, Potter!"
Draco sensed something was wrong and remembered that he had promised Argus and his father during the last match that he would protect himself during the game.
After a moment's hesitation, he decisively chose to fly out through the passage!
He fell heavily to the ground.
Draco could leave, but Harry could not give up!
The Golden Snitch was Gryffindor's last hope; once he let go, Gryffindor would have no chance of winning.
He glanced back at the Bludger following behind him, then gritted his teeth and continued charging forward.
"Faster, faster!"
"I'll get it soon!"
Harry reached out to grab it, but the next second, a Bludger came hurtling towards him!
Click!
It hit Harry's arm!
With a tremendous force, Harry was slammed to the ground!
Gasps of surprise erupted from the stands.
Argus stared intently at a corner of the stands where Lucius was.
This scene was exactly the same as the one in last year's Quidditch match where the Gryffindor Seeker was forced to leave the game after being hit by the Bludger!
"It's Dobby! He's secretly using a Confundus Charm!"
"It seems we need to clean up Lucius's circle. We can't keep house-elves with such treacherous intentions around!"
A cold glint flashed in Argus's eyes.
Admittedly, from Harry's perspective in his previous life, Dobby's actions were indeed for Harry's benefit.
His subsequent sacrifice for Harry was equally moving.
Unfortunately, he was not Harry!
For Argus, this was nothing short of blatant betrayal!
No matter how many wonderful events were used to embellish this fact, it could not be concealed.
More importantly, house-elves had an incredibly strong talent for teleportation.
He couldn't guarantee that Dobby wouldn't overhear his conversation with Lucius someday.
If they betrayed you then, you'd be in big trouble!
On the Quidditch field, Harry struggled to sit up, just about to stand.
The Bludger, which should have fallen to the ground, suddenly leaped up!
It came crashing down on him!
Bang!
The ground was smashed into a deep crater!
Harry's arm was injured, and he couldn't even stand up, making dodging extremely difficult.
Draco saw this from a short distance away and staggered toward Harry.
He grabbed his feet and pulled hard!
Bang!
The Bludger landed again, startling Harry so much that he broke out in a cold sweat.
But the Bludger showed no signs of stopping; it leaped up and flew towards the two of them again!
If that hit, both of them would at least break a few ribs!
They tried to escape, but the Bludger was too fast and the angle was too tricky, leaving them nowhere to hide!
"Expelliarmus!"
In the stands, a dazzling red light spanned half the field and struck the Bludger that was floating in mid-air!
Argus, wand in hand, slowly appeared at the entrance of the Slytherin stands.
The match was abruptly stopped, and a group of professors and students rushed toward the two.
Argus walked up to Draco and stared intently into his eyes.
Did you ignore what I told you last time?
Draco lowered his head guiltily.
Harry groaned in pain, "My arm, my arm feels broken."
"It's alright, Harry! I'll catch it for you right away." Lockhart quickly stepped forward.
He took out his wand and aimed it at Harry's arm.
Harry was terrified, dragging his feet backward.
"No, no need, Professor! I don't think my arm is that badly injured!"
"Oh, poor thing, you're so confused! Don't worry, it won't hurt at all!"
Lockhart didn't give Harry any chance to refuse and immediately released the magic.
"Brackium Emendo!"
Buzz!
A blue light flashed by!
Harry's expression gradually softened, and he breathed a sigh of relief.
It seemed Professor Lockhart wasn't entirely incompetent; at least this healing spell was quite skillful.
Lockhart's face also showed a smug look.
As they picked up Harry's arm, preparing to show it to everyone, the moment they lifted Harry's arm, everyone's expression froze.
His arms were limp and soft, like they were made of clay.
Harry's eyes widened, and his expression turned utterly terrified.
Lockhart laughed somewhat awkwardly, forcing an explanation: "This happens occasionally; it's a matter of constitution."
"Mr. Malfoy, let me treat you and I guarantee you'll be completely healed!"
Draco grabbed Argus's leg and hugged him tightly!
His face showed unprecedented terror!
"You...you don't come any closer!"
