The person who had arrived like a flash of light—
the one who had saved Kami at the very last moment—
slowly started walking toward him.
Whether it was a boy or a girl was still unclear.
Their body was covered in blood, their breathing uneven, but their steps were firm.
Kami lay on the broken ground, completely helpless.
His body refused to move.
Even lifting his fingers felt impossible.
His vision was blurred, and every breath burned his lungs.
His friends rushed toward him, panic written all over their faces.
They wanted to help, but their minds were frozen.
They didn't know how to help.
They didn't even know where to begin.
And then—
The ground trembled.
A deep, terrifying sound echoed through the air, like something massive approaching.
Everyone turned around.
What they saw drained the color from their faces.
Nearly one hundred Minotaurs stood there.
Each of them was built like a living weapon—
towering bodies, muscles like stone, eyes glowing with bloodlust.
And among them—
One stood taller than all the rest.
At least twice their size.
His horns were massive, his presence crushing.
The air itself felt heavy around him.
He was the Minotaur King.
Fear spread among Kami's friends like poison.
They had never imagined such creatures could exist—
not even in their worst nightmares.
The flash-like warrior stepped forward.
They glanced once at Kami.
Then turned toward the Minotaurs.
No words.
No hesitation.
Only resolve.
They were alone.
One against ninety-nine Minotaurs.
Because the hundredth was their king.
The first Minotaur charged.
In the next instant—
it collapsed.
A blur of movement.
Another rushed forward.
Then another.
Blood splattered the ground.
Bones cracked loudly.
The warrior moved like lightning—
appearing, disappearing, striking from every direction.
Kami, half-conscious, could still see it.
So fast…
One by one, the Minotaurs fell.
But the numbers didn't stop coming.
With every strike, new wounds opened on the warrior's body.
Blood soaked their clothes, dripped from their arms, ran down their face.
Still—
They didn't stop.
Then—
The Minotaur King stepped forward.
Each of his steps shook the earth.
The warrior attacked with everything they had.
Strikes from all sides.
Speed beyond human limits.
For a moment, it looked like the King might fall.
But then—
Nothing.
The attacks had no effect.
As if they had struck empty air.
The King suddenly grabbed the warrior by the leg.
And—
SLAM!
They were smashed into the ground.
Again.
And again.
Then the punches began.
Frenzied.
Savage.
Each blow sounded like bones shattering.
The warrior screamed in pain.
After a while, the King stopped.
Laughing.
He turned away.
The warrior lay motionless, drenched in blood.
That was when Kami stood up.
His legs trembled violently.
Darkness crept into his vision.
But he moved forward anyway.
Because the King had turned back—
preparing a final, devastating slam.
Kami stepped between the King and the fallen warrior.
The King laughed.
And punched Kami from the side.
Kami was sent flying, crashing into the shattered remains of the lighthouse.
His body hit the ground hard.
He was barely alive.
The monsters laughed.
The King turned, ready to finish the flash-like warrior.
He took position.
Just as he was about to charge—
Something changed.
An aura spread through the air.
Heavy.
Overwhelming.
Terrifying.
The other Minotaurs stepped back instinctively.
Even the King froze.
They all looked—
Kami was standing.
Barely alive.
In one hand—
the Mystery Sword.
His head was lowered.
Motionless.
Like a statue.
The King roared, furious.
"KILL HIM!"
All the Minotaurs charged.
The moment they reached Kami—
He vanished.
"Where did he go?!"
The Minotaurs looked around in panic.
Before they could understand—
Every Minotaur except the King was already split into two.
Blood covered the ground.
Kami appeared again—
standing between the King and the fallen warrior.
For the first time—
The King felt fear.
He roared in rage.
The flash-like warrior regained consciousness.
They saw someone standing in front of them.
Protecting them.
And suddenly—
Memories flooded back.
A childhood moment.
They were lying on the ground.
Dogs were charging at them.
And then—
A boy stepped in.
He tried to scare the dogs away.
The dogs attacked him instead.
Blood.
Pain.
The hospital.
Tears.
And a bracelet—
given to that boy by a girl.
That girl was her.
She was the one who fought like lightning.
And she had never met that boy again.
The King began punching Kami repeatedly.
One punch.
Two.
Three.
Kami did not fall.
The King panicked and tried to flee.
Kami jumped—
And tore the King apart.
At that moment, Kami's aura was so dark
that he looked no less terrifying than a monster himself.
Barely able to stand,
he leapt onto the spaceship—
BOOM.
The entire ship exploded.
Kami fell unconscious as debris rained from the sky.
He woke up.
A hospital room.
Machines beeping softly.
Mizuki was beside him.
Sleeping.
Her head resting on his chest.
Kami tried to move.
Mizuki woke up instantly.
She hugged him tightly, crying.
The door opened.
Kami's ex-girlfriend entered, holding flowers.
She screamed.
Ran away.
Questions.
Silence.
The bracelet.
Memories returned.
Tears filled Kami's eyes.
Their friends entered.
Cleared their throats loudly.
Kami and Mizuki finally noticed them—
And everyone laughed.
