The next day
Happo Navy Headquarters
The whole area is packed with a lot of Happo Navy members; in the field are Mihawk and Doo, the son of the 12th and current leader of the Happo Navy.
On the stands is Raeven; beside him is Don Chinjao. The both of them are currently talking about something that made Chinjao's eyes shine and laugh. Raeven is talking to him about how to expand and sell their specialties on the other seas.
"Raeven-kun, I didn't know that you have a bright mind in business; it's a pity you don't want to join our Happo Navy," he said while he took a sip of his tea.
"I'll decline that offer; my dream is to roam the world, study every farming skill from different kinds of cultures, be the strongest farmer ever, and brew the best liquor on these seas. I don't have the land now, but I already have my target," Raeven answered.
"Hiyahoho, then I should place an order already. Take this; it's my personal den den mushi number. Tell me when you started selling; I'll buy a huge amount of your booze," Chinjao said. Just the idea of selling out their island specialties is already a win for him; buying booze in the future and a connection for a future twin powerhouse is a win too.
"I'll give you a discount in the future," Raeven said. After that, they continued watching the duel. The duel between Mihawk and Doo is currently very intense.
Flying slashes and blinding speed cuts, the two of them became a blur on the field.
6 hours have already passed, and the duel is still raging, but the audience can already see that the two of them are beginning to tire out.
"Your younger brother is really a monster. You kids are currently 9 years old, and by the looks of it, you two know about Rokushiki and even life return," Don Chinjao said.
"Let's end the warm-up here," Doo suddenly said as he breathed out and his blade became black; he covered it with Armament Haki.
"Ohhh, looks like they're getting serious; now it will all fall down. Which of them has stronger Haki?" Chinjao added.
Mihawk just nodded as he covered his sword with Armament Haki too; this move surprised the Happo Navy officers.
"So the rumors about you two using Observation and Armament Haki are real; the Marines' current bounty on the two of you is too low," Chinjao said seriously. In the Grand Line, Haki users can only be counted on fingers, and pirates who use Haki in the New World are not simple at all; all of them are infamous enough to be granted a bounty over 100 million.
"We don't bother with the Marines as long as they don't bother us; well, as long as it's not Zephyr, Garp, Sengoku, or Kong, we can escape," Raeven said.
"Hiyahoho, escaping is a skill too," Chinjao said.
The clash between the two swordsmen began to intensify again; the sun was already setting when the two broke off as they prepared their last attack.
"Ittoryu Iai: Heaven Divider," Doo said as he attacked at extreme speed, while Mihawk didn't say anything and charged forward too. As the two of them exchanged positions, Doo was the one to fall; he was bleeding on his left shoulder across his torso, and his sword snapped into two as he sheathed it.
"I lost this match," he said before he lost consciousness.
Mihawk on the other side is bleeding on his left arm; he is using his sword, Yoru, to stand.
"Beautiful duel; sadly, Doo's swordsmanship can't match your brother," Chinjao said as he stood up and went to his son that is currently being attended by a lot of doctors.
"You saw it too, Don Chinjao; Mihawk won, but the difference in their skill is just slim," Raeven said as he walked towards Mihawk too.
"Congratulations, little brother, you finally conquered the swordsmen of Kano Country," Raeven said as he looked at Mihawk, who was panting.
"I only won because my stamina is superior. In terms of skills, we're equals. Let's stay here for a while, brother," Mihawk said as the fighting spirit in his eyes burned.
"We'll stay here as long as you want," Raeven said.
After that a huge banquet happened; even the Happo Navy lost when Chinjao told his officers about the business Raeven told him. They became excited, and even the young king Ramen attended the banquet.
"Sea routes and supply points as well as guard positions—if we start selling in the West Blue, then in the future the prosperity of Kamo Country is in reach," King Ramen said as he, Chinjao, and Raeven talked about business.
Mihawk is currently busy eating while discussing swordsmanship with the other Happo Navy officers. Doo and he are already setting another sparring match together after both of them recovered from their injuries.
"With a business like that, other pirates will target you; that's where another source of income comes in," Raeven said while discussing with Ramen and Chinjao.
"I see, and with the Happo Navy backing us, those pirates will be bellies if they try to attack us," Ramen said.
"Raeven-kun, for this idea, the whole Kano Country thanks you," Ramen said as he offered a toast to Raeven. The two of them toasted, but Raeven was drinking juice, not booze.
The next day the brothers packed up their camping gear as Don Chinjao gave them a place to stay. Raeven was surprised when one of the Happo Navy officers gave him a key for a house and then said that it was a gift from the king and the Happo Navy.
The house is quite big, 500 meters away from the center of the city, and the surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. The brothers will stay here whenever they come here to Kano Country.
After 3 days of resting, Mihawk was fully healed, so he headed back to the Happo Navy HQ to spar with them again while Raeven was busy doing his training and reading about news across the seas.
Just like that, 2 years already passed. In the past 2 years, the business that Raeven proposed to the Happo Navy is already very successful; they can't even supply the demand in the whole West Blue.
August 12, 1492
Kano Country
In the past years the rewards Raeven got for signing in were, on his 9th birthday, he got a God-level skill in medicine, and on his 10th birthday, he got the perfect level armament, Haki.
"Sign In system" *DING* [Congratulations host for signing in for the 11th time; your reward is Shadow Khan (Ninja Clan) 300].
When Raeven saw this, he was shocked, so he hurriedly checked the description of this reward.
[Shadow Khan (Ninja Khans): 300 loyal Ninja Khans from Jackie Chan Adventures, immortal and absolutely loyal. Their overall fighting strength is 50% of the host, stored in the shadow of the host.]
"Jackpot! What a good reward, an immortal and absolutely loyal ninja. When we reach that island, I'll make them help me set up my farm," Raeven said. He finally got helpers for his farm.
"Right now I have the strength of an Elite Vice Admiral, so their combat power is estimated as maybe a marine captain from the Headquarters?" Raeven asked himself, as he wasn't sure about it; he may have to test it soon, and he got the perfect guinea pig for this.
The night came, and Mihawk came back home; he was now dressed like his future self, just a smaller and younger version.
When he saw his brother waiting for him at the front of their house, his instinct told him that Raeven was planning something again, and that smile on his face was really saying that he was planning something.
"What do you want?" Mihawk said as he looked at his brother cautiously.
"Don't worry, I won't do any prank on you; let's meet at the back, and bring your sword. I'll show you something," Raeven said as he stood up and walked towards the backyard of their house.
When Mihawk reached the backyard, he saw a lot of men kneeling on one knee in front of his brother.
"Are those ninjas? Can they do the shadow clone technique, walk on water, and spit fire?" Mihawk asked excitedly.
"Yes, they are ninjas. Sadly, they can't do that clone technique, and they can't spitfire, but they can walk on water, phase through walls, and they have 50% of my strength. They're immortal and 100% loyal," Raeven said.
"So you awakened another power? What luck," Mihawk said. Raeven had told him before that he can awaken powers in his body, and he fully believed it; after all, Raeven is his brother.
"Yes, I only awakened them today, so I'll need your help to test them out—a full-out battle so we can measure their strength—and don't worry about them; they can use Haki too, and as I said before, they won't die," Raeven said.
"Perfect, I never had a chance to fight a ninja before; I'll test them," Mihawk said as he readied his blade. Raeven walked on the side.
"Ready your weapons and attack my brother with everything you've got," he said. Then the Ninja Khans summoned their weapons; some of them were using a sickle with chains, while others were using swords. When Mihawk saw the weapons shine in black, he focused on the battle.
"Go," Raeven said, and then the ninjas attacked Mihawk from all sides. Raeven watched the fight, and then he said,
"Their durability is quite good, and their power and speed too, and the way they attack is always straight for the kill." He counted it, and Mihawk took two attacks for a ninja Khan to vanish and enter his shadow.
"Respawn time is 1 minute per ninja, and respawning doesn't have any penalties on me at all? The system is really the best, and they can grow stronger too as I grow stronger. Wahahahahaha," Raeven thought to himself as he laughed.
Mihawk is still being swarmed by the ninjas, and even he is struggling facing 300 captain-level ninjas; after all, they're immortal, and they don't care if they die as long as they can injure Mihawk. After 30 minutes of fighting, Raeven commanded the ninjas to stop, and they stopped and stood neatly in a line.
Mihawk's dress is now ripped; fortunately, his wounds are shallow, but he was still shocked by what he experienced: an endless wave of enemies that the current him can't handle. Raeven threw a Senzu Bean to him, and he quickly ate it, fully healing him and restoring his stamina.
"These ninjas are good, brother; with them my training will progress a lot faster," he said with excitement. Raeven, on the other hand, just sighed when he heard what Mihawk said; this kid is a battle junkie.
