Yuan blocked the slash with his pipe but the force threw him to the nearby tree with his pipe broken. He didn't have time to take his bearing when the monster leap on the floor, his claws were close to his face but suddenly stopped on the way. For a moment, the claws were hovering on the air. The monster was confused and tried to move his hands. It was like wind was pushing him away from Yuan. Yuan spend no time and swung his broken pipe to his head. Black muddy blood spurted from the monster's head. "I hope it has helped you" said Ren as his palm was fixed to the monster's direction. Yuan looked at Ren when he felt wind coming from his palm. Surprised, Yuan said, "you have wind magic?" "Yes but my rank is not high enough to control this monster longer". By the time Ren said this, the wound of the monster was regenerating slowly. Yuan looked at the sharp edge of his pipe, "it seems like I've found the weakness of the monster" he said as he pointed the broken pipe to the monster. "Spit it out?!" Kaito grumbled. The other hunters were displeased by his behavior but Kaito could also be the only way for them to survive. Yuan just looked at the monster and mentioned, "during my fight, I've found two things. He sprinted to the monster and Ren used the wind to muffle the noise of the footsteps. As the puddles approaches Yuan, he jumped to a branch of a tree and aimed the swung to the monster's head again. The monster just dodged and threw his puddles all over again. Yuan dodged the puddles but unfortunately, his foot was stucked to a puddle. He tried to push it but no use, the monster felt that his plan worked. He grinned and the multiple arms of his torso shot on Yuan and gripped him tightly. Ren used his magic to the monster but with no use, he leaped to the monster's side and swung his blade on the monster's head. With a grin, arms sprouted from the monster's head and held Ren on mid air. Ren was struggling to move as the grip tightened. The monster gave a deviously smile as he opened his mouth. Yuan's mind was running in seconds, looking for escape route but all the attempts in his head failed. He thought of using the dagger as his last resort when he saw the body of the monster entangled in thorny vines. Kaito was gripping the floor tightly as the vines moved from his hands, "Let's see if you can escape this now". The vines went to his head and that's when he understood the human's logic. He tried to move his head but the thorny vines applied pressure to his head, the monster shot his black puddle to Kaito. Suddenly, the monster felt a sharp pain to his limbs. Ren took the opportunity to cut the monster's limb. As he free himself, he aimed his blade to the monster's head. "It's not today i will be killed by insects" the monster yelled as his mouth enlarged to eat Ren fully. A dull noise was heard as his teeth grazed the rusty pipe, Ren was surprised as he saw Yuan holding the rusty pipe to keep the monster's mouth open. Without further hesitation, Ren slashed the monster's neck and his body fell down. The other hunters were amazed and slightly scared by what they saw but they were sure of something now, that they survived and it was more important. Yuan looked at the head of the monster still on his pipe and looked back at the battered body of the monster. As Yuan try to walk away, a wall of vines blocked his part. "Where do you think you are going?" Kaito said as he gave a cold gaze at Yuan. "As you can see, the monster's head is on my pipe, it's mine now" yuan said unbothered. "You don't understand do you, you literally did nothing to kill that thing, all you have done since is to shove your stick to the monster's throat, and you didn't even gave the final kill. You are going to drop this head and walk off now" Kaito said as he held his dagger. Unamused, Yuan said, "you and your group can have the body if you think I'm going to steal it. But this head is mine" "Last warning, put that head down or you will be a dead body". Ren came between them to pacify things, "Kaito, we have this body, we can leave Yuan with the head". Kaito sneered, "I won't give this to him, especially a guy who doesn't have magic. For you, you just need to hear instructions and do what's asked for you. Dog". That was the breaking point of Yuan, he looked at Kaito with murderous eyes. He was thinking of how to finish this brat. Ren just looked exasperated, "let's just calm down.
