Mole 2 POV
I glared at the kid standing in front of me. He continued to mock, but I wasn't letting my guard down anymore.
"There's no way a kid like that could injure me if I don't let my guard down," I thought to myself.
Truth be told, I was underestimating him because he's just a kid. But now that I've figured out what that sword can do, I can easily counter it. Although now that I can't use ninjutsu anymore with my one hand, I can still perform taijutsu.
The five Taro in front of me began moving, two flanking, one in the air, and another two rushing toward me head-on. The one in the air managed to get to me first with a massive leap. He slashed his sword vertically, but I quickly dodged by moving to the left.
He gathered chakra on his feet to get closer to me and swung another slash, but missed by a few inches. Taking the opportunity, I kicked the kid, sending it flying. Then suddenly, when the kid stopped rolling, it disappeared with a puff of smoke.
"I see. So it's just a trick," I murmured.
Sensing another one behind me, I quickly ducked and pulled out a kunai. While he was in the air, I rolled in the air and slashed him, landing a few meters away.
"That's two," I mocked.
The three other Taro finally reached me and fought me all together, but none could hit me. They were all too slow, slower than that man Jiren from earlier.
As I watched them try to catch me with amusement, I once again let my guard down. One of the kids managed to get behind me. He swung his sword but only grazed my back, but the sword was already glowing orange, a sign of explosion.
Boom!
The tip of the sword exploded, launching me in the air toward a wall. My burnt back hit the wall, causing me to reel in pain. The pain was unbearable, but I had to stand up as I saw the three Taro running toward me with immense speed.
The kid at the front slashed his sword, aimed at my neck, but I did a backflip, landing on the wall. I gathered chakra on my feet and launched myself toward the last Taro.
While in the air, I changed my position and grabbed the kid by the chin while I was still above him. Using him as a tool to stop my momentum, I slammed his small face on the ground, effectively killing him.
Gathering chakra on my feet once again, I dashed toward the next kid and grabbed his ankle. The last Taro rushed toward me, but it soon disappeared when I slammed him with another Taro.
[Just ignore how this guy knows Taro's name. Please and thank you.]
I huffed and looked around, "Where the hell is the original?"
I looked around the battlefield and saw that most of the Hosai clansmen were dead, and our side was winning.
I smiled and yelled, "Kid, your clansmen are dead! Come out already!"
Suddenly, I heard a laugh from behind me, "I'm right here."
I turned around and smiled, "So, are you ready to die yet?"
He smiled, which caused me to frown. He shouldn't have another trump card, as I sensed that those five kids had equal amounts of chakra, meaning the original chakra was most likely spread out evenly. With that sort of jutsu, there's no way he should still have chakra.
However, to my dismay, two Taro suddenly appeared from both my sides.
"I just killed five of them. What makes you think you can kill me with these?"
I looked at the Taro ahead of me, then suddenly, I saw a shadow. I quickly looked above and saw another version of the kid.
I clicked my tongue, ready to rush toward the kid ahead of me. But then suddenly, all four of them weaved hand signs.
"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!" ×4
With no other choice, I had to dash backward and counterattack later once I found an opening. However, while I was still in the air, the kid who was ahead of me suddenly smiled and formed the seal of confrontation.
"Katsu!" he yelled.
The world seemed to stop while I looked around. Below me were dozens of glowing papers.
"Am I going to die?" I asked myself.
The answer came fast. Maybe too fast.
Boom!

30 Minutes Earlier
Toji practiced with the Eight Inner Gates. Although his foundation was good, the physical toll of the Eight Inner Gates was too much for his current body to handle.
He opened the scroll once again and saw the same word over and over again: protein.
Toji scratched his head, "What exactly is protein? From the looks of it, it's what I'm lacking right now to build the perfect body."
"Ahh! Whatever, let's just run a lap around the clan using only my hands!"
As he took his handstand, Fuji burst into the courtyard and yelled, "Toji! We need to hurry up and reinforce the eastern gate!"
With his concentration broken, Toji fell down and rubbed his butt. But then he realized what Fuji said, "What? What happened?! Isn't that where Young Master Taro is stationed?!"
Fuji nodded, "Yes!"
The two rushed outside and met with the other ninjas being led by Nori. All ninjas gathered were around 150 ninjas. Currently the clan could gather more than 200 ninjas, but someone still needs to guard the clan.
All 150 ninjas finally made their move and rushed toward the eastern walls. Along with them was Nao, who took a nap and overslept. But when he heard that Taro could be endangered, he didn't waste time and was now at the very front of the group.
"Please be safe, Taro," Nao murmured.
When the reinforcement neared the battlefield, a sudden massive explosion halted them for a split second.
Boom!
The explosion was something they'd never seen or even heard of. The explosion caused a massive cloud of dark smoke that still lingered even with the wind raging.
Nao gritted his teeth and ran toward the explosion, while everyone was still dazed. Seeing the young Nao run off to the battlefield woke everyone up from their stupor.
Fuji's anger flared, "What the hell are you all doing?! Go charge! Charge, goddamn it!"
