After using one of the "Stat Shots" cards on himself and the "Buff Me Up" card, his stats had dramatically increased, now surpassing even Nao in all stats except speed and battle IQ. And after the battle in the cave, Taro's battle IQ improved, as he now finally had battle experience.

Taro smiled while looking at his stats. "I still have three Buff Me Up cards. I'll save them up for now and wait until my stats get a little higher from training."

He closed the window and went to sleep.

The next morning, he was woken up by the whispering of Nao in his ear. "Wakey wakey, it's time for you to get…" He paused and took a deep breath. "The fuck up!"

Taro quickly got up, but as his balance was off, he fell down and hit his head. "What the hell, Nao?! Why do you always wake me up in the most dumbassary way possible?!"

Nao shrugged. "I don't know, and I don't care. Get up, I wanna go home already and take a shower."

Taro got up unwillingly and changed into his normal attire. It wasn't ideal to walk around a peaceful town with broken and bloody armor, after all.

When Taro stepped outside, Mashiro, Kise, and Nao were already ready to go toward the village.

"Are you ready? I've already sent an order to the clan to build an area in the cave for the livestock, just like you said last night," said Mashiro.

Taro nodded, and so the four made their way to the small town.

The town wasn't anything special. It wasn't grand or beautiful — it was just your run-of-the-mill town. However, compared to other towns in the Land of Wind, this town was far more lively and safe. Ninjas roamed the streets leisurely while merchants and civilians haggled over prices.

Mashiro looked at Kise and ordered, "I'll go with Taro and Nao, and you can go buy supplies for yourself. The three of us will return home while you collect the mission rewards."

Kise nodded and gave Nao and Taro a goodbye head pat. "I'll see you guys in a few days."

When Kise finally left, Mashiro looked at the two and said, "We're gonna buy supplies and livestock, that's it. Once everything is done, we'll set off immediately."

The two nodded and followed Mashiro around to buy supplies.

One Month Later

"Finally, we're home!" Nao yelled.

After a whole month of nonstop travel, the three had finally made it home.

Because of the livestock they bought, the journey had become longer than expected, and out of their purchases, only three cows, one bull, and two chickens survived. Originally, they bought seven cows, a bull, two chickens, and two pigs.

The two guards greeted them and informed the elders that the clan patriarch had returned.

The first of the elders to appear and greet them was Elder Nori, the finance elder. However, Elder Nori wasn't pleased and spoke out, "Patriarch… Why have you bought these?" He pointed at the livestock and continued, "We don't have the money to keep them, let alone breed them!"

"Elder Nori—" Mashiro tried to explain but was cut off by Nori.

"The food supply from last month is nearly down to half! We can last another two or three months with our current storage—enough to last us through the summer!"

Mashiro sighed and glared at Nori. "Enough. I'll explain everything in four days. Let me rest with my family, is that understood?"

Although Mashiro was powerful, Nori was still a formidable elder. "Then you better have a reasonable explanation."

The power structure of the clan wasn't Mashiro at the top, but rather the survival of the entire clan. If Mashiro were to do something that could jeopardize the safety of the clan, then the clan elders had the right and power to remove him. However, the same could be said for the elders — after all, power was irrelevant when everyone was simply trying to survive.

Mashiro looked back and saw his son, Taro, then sighed. The reason why the meeting would be held four days from now was because Taro said that his research would take at least four days to finish.

Although Mashiro was skeptical, the appearance of the bone meal was enough to give him the reassurance that the "research" could work.

As for the research taking at least four days, Taro only wanted to make it somewhat believable.

When everything was set in place at the Hosai Cave, Taro quickly went to work. First, he left the animals in the cave and took one of each into the Minecraft world.

Surprisingly, when the cow and chicken went inside Minecraft, their entire appearance changed to that of normal Minecraft mobs.

Testing out the opposite, he brought them back to the real world. As Taro expected, the cow and chicken turned back into their normal appearances.

"That's experiment one done," Taro murmured.

The next experiment was food.

Taro went to the clan storage and took out some wheat that didn't come from the Minecraft world and went back to the cave. First, he brought two cows into the Minecraft world and fed them Minecraft wheat.

When the two cows were fed the Minecraft wheat, they immediately started getting freaky by kissing. And in an instant, a baby cow was created.

Taro nodded and waited five minutes to reset the birth timer of the cows. Once the timer finished, he switched to regular wheat from the ninja world.

However, to his surprise, once the two cows were given the normal wheat, nothing happened — they just ate it with no reaction.

"I see, so it reacts differently."

Taro went back to the ninja world with the cows and repeated the exact same experiment.

He fed the bull and a cow Minecraft wheat and gasped in disbelief at what happened next. The moment they ate the wheat, they looked at each other and… did the dirty. Once finished, a baby was quickly born.

In Minecraft, a baby cow can grow into a full-sized adult after about 20 minutes, and from the looks of it, the same applied to this newly born calf.

Taro waited 20 minutes to make sure, and sure enough, the calf turned into a fully grown cow.

"So Minecraft items work the same in the ninja world… Then why doesn't the bread I make from Minecraft heal people? In Minecraft, once I eat bread, my health goes up whenever it's low."

While pondering, Taro got an idea. He went inside the Minecraft world and stored a single loaf of bread in his system inventory, then returned to the ninja world.

Once back in the ninja world, he took out a kunai and made a deep cut on his arm. After the wound started bleeding, he quickly ate the bread. The wound began closing at a speed visible to the eye.

"I see… It only works if you make the bread in Minecraft. Once you bake the bread in this world, some of that magical stuff disappears, leaving only the feeling of refreshment and restored stamina."

Taro began thinking of different possibilities and what he could do — then suddenly, he thought of something. "Enchantment! What if I can enchant a sword and bring it to this world? Would the Fire Aspect enchantment still work?!"

Taro's mind began to race, and endless possibilities came to mind.
