Chapter 32: Leave and a little peak
Jay's POV
I told Keifer to leave... I am not ready to hear anything.... Not yet... Not after so many years he missed cuz he didn't want the whole story and didn't trust me....
I have had enough of his nonsense in highscool... I don't need more... But... Why does he look so... Unfairly... Keifer... Smug, overconfident and still... Like we were in highscool.
No... Jay no... You can't... He put you though too much... But... What about the contract? I don't know what to do... Should I still accept the contract proposal? I mean... It's a big company and it couldn't be bad if the collab could be made...
And... Maybe... I can put Keifer Watson on a leash... Like... He can't make a move, but I can make him go crazy... Not a bad idea... We'll see about how it goes...
Whatever... I have to go to my office... Paperwork... Why do CEO-s need to do paperwork? I use my signiture more than my actual brain or computer skills...
And I still have a meeting today at 3 p.m. with who tho?
Jay: Alex-my assistants name-
Alex: yes boss?
Jay: who is the meeting today at 3 p.m. with?
Alex: a smaller company's CEO
Jay: Alex... How many smaller company's are out there?
Alex: many?
Jay: then how in the world would I know wich one I have a meeting with?!
Alex: right... I'll check... Give me 5

Alex: minuites
Jay: oh... Okay...
I said and Alex went out of my office. So... A little intro of Alex from ME:
I hired Alex when I became CEO. okay... Two months in, cuz I realised I couldn't handle my own schedule. Okay... Too many meetings... So... Akex knows me well, my coffee order, my fav desserts, the company clients, projects, problems with employees... Everything... He was one of my father's old friend's son so he trusts him... He does backround checks, file work, meeting plans, confidence boost sweets and things like that. His name is Alex Williams. So... Everything you have to know about my assistant.
And Alex came back.
Alex: boss, got the info about the companies
Jay: plural?
Alex: yes... -while scraching the back of his neck-
Jay: wich ones then?
Alex: Braselton and Fer corp... I think...
Jay: WHAT? WHO SCHEDULED THAT?!
Alex: I did...
Jay: Alex... What the hell????!
And that's the moment I realised this day CAN BE HARDER... I don't know the Braseltons personally... BUT... Fer corp is owned by my cousin in the Philippines... Who does not know I am in Ney York and the CEO of Mariano Enterprises.... So this is going to be intresting....
Keifer's POV
Jay told me to leave... Okay... I deserved that cuz I wanted to force her... Just a little... But... I am coming back tomorrow... Jasper Jean Mariano you are not getting away from me this time... I see how you become nervous and your breath quickens when you see me... I won't leave you this time... See you tomorrow, Mariano...
I was thinking then my driver came and I went back to the hotel and when I arrived it was only 10 a.m. as we scheduled the meeting at 9 a.m. and I kinda pushed too far... But nevermind... Next round tomorrow... I just did paperwork for the next hour.
