Chapter 5 - "Mutual feelings darling"

The men sat and conversed as their conversation smoothened. Does our Nur here like horseback riding? Burak asks to Ali with a curious yet questioning tone. Ali gave Nur a glance, oh... so many times... his eyes glinted as he goes on to talk about how Nur as a kid would use to fall face flat so many times before he could actually ride.

Burak's eyes flickered to a flustered Nur, his lips curled slightly as Nur gave a pleading glare to Ali.

Then, Nur looked at him, "Well, sir"... he gets up* "It was great meeting you"... Burak's brows furrowed as he glanced at Ali. He told him to sit. "Nur... sit"

Why...? he murmurs back, "I thought we were..." Ali shook his head, Ayse is here... You didn't tell him? Burak asks-to that Ali smiles, "I wanted it to be a surprise to him"...

Suprise...? Ayse...? Nur flops back into his chair. His pulse quickening with every breath as her face flashed through him like a terrain.

Burak's eyes flickered to the grand clock above as he gestured for Ali as he got up. Grazing at his cuff, "Ali and I have... he looks at him as Ali then gives him a nod* something to converse about, we will be right back" he said to Nur as they both walked off, leaving him.

Nur gave a rigid nod then they were gone.

Nur's pov: I sat there like a moron, waiting for her, Ayse. If she hadn't been here, I would have left this place by now... Gosh...

Time rolled by still nothing. My patience wore off as I then got up, biting back a chuckle to myself. Guess Burak wasn't so wrong about the time...

I looked around, turned yet nothing. I knew it... she was doing this on purpose--I mean, if she really didn't want this t--I let my voice trail off as I saw her walking to me.

Ayse... among the clatter of utensils and murmurs, she walked, poised like a model. Her plump lips held that soft gracious smile as she then nodded her head to a waiter. My eyes fell, the kind of smile that she had always shown to any but to me...

Her nimble frame then made her way towards me as she stood practically five steps away from me. Ayse crossed her arms above her chest, head tilting as her blue gaze bore into mine,

Hakan...

Ayse... his voice came a second late as he gestured her to sit. Ayse without uttering a word sat across from him. Grazing at the elaborate net of her hat, she sets it down as if not wanting to hide her face. Her hands then clasped around a glass as she took a few sips. She looked calm, collected at least to the public.

I looked to the ground, avoiding her glare. Well... you know why we are here? Ayse's eyes flickered then she gave him a nod. "Most specifically... yes, I'm aware" her voice came out dry.

Ayse... if you think I was behind this arrangement... then I promise y-"As I told you, Hakan... I'm aware of this whole arrangement, thing.Even If you were behind this, she shook her head, "I cannot refuse orders, not from my father I cannot"

And... her lips curled in a bitter smile as her voice came out low, sizzling with rage, "Remind me...what do you know about things such as promises?"

Nur's jaw ticked as he shot her a look, "what does that supposed to mean?" he asked. Ayse smiles, "You know what I exactly meant"... She then gets up, placing a card on the table,

"See you Hakan" she murmured Her heels clicked as she walked off from there, from him. Nur settled further back in his seat; he reached for a glass. Reaching it to his lips, he stopped noticing the lipstick stain.

He then let his thumb brush against the stain, eyes wandering as he took its sight. Cherry... he could tell it right away; the same one she wore way back when her mother passed or when her brother left for the army.

Ah Ayze... how full of puzzles are you...?
