Bryan's POV
I drove home from Thomas's house in complete silence, my hands gripping the steering wheel so tight my knuckles turned white. Alice sat in the passenger seat looking out the window, her hand resting on her stomach where our twins were growing.
One mine, one Marcus's, and apparently my mother had orchestrated the whole thing.
"Talk to me," Alice said quietly, not looking away from the window.
"What do you want me to say?" I asked, my voice coming out harsher than I intended.
"Anything," she said. "You haven't said a word since we left Thomas's house and that was two hours ago."
"I don't know what to say," I admitted, pulling into our building's garage. "My mother paid to have you violated so Marcus's legacy could continue, how am I supposed to process that?"
"The same way I'm processing that my biological father has been alive this whole time watching me from a distance," Alice said, finally turning to look at me. "By talking about it instead of bottling it up."
