Despite her fever, Janvi, who hadn't changed her mind, leaned against him. She casually looked towards the entrance and saw Mullai standing there. Bhadran, not expecting her, kept staring at her. Mullai, with an indescribable pain, looked back at him. He, who had been eating without even looking up at her, avoiding her eyes all this time, felt something churn inside him when he saw the pain in her eyes.
Theeran was looking at Bhadran angrily. For some reason, he didn't like seeing Bhadran with Janvi. He didn't know why either. At that moment, unexpectedly, Janvi looked up and kissed Bhadran on the cheek. Mullai, shocked by this, realized that it was not good to stay there any longer and quickly left with Theeran in her arms.
Bhadran's eyes turned bloodshot with anger. He pushed Janvi, who was leaning on him, away in half a second, and with the full force of his anger, slapped her hard on the cheek. Already weakened by fever, she couldn't withstand his blow and fainted.
Bhadran's anger still hadn't subsided. He kicked the unconscious woman, opened the door, slammed it shut, and left. "If you go near someone who's dying, they'll just overdo it," he thought, sighing angrily as he walked away.
After he left, Janvi slowly opened her eyes and smiled mischievously as she watched Bhadran leave quickly. She had deliberately kissed him.
Bhadran, coming out of the house in uncontrollable anger, went towards the garden and shouted, "Guards!" The 60 guards who were standing around for security gathered there. They were shocked to see their master's angry face. Because those who were already afraid when his face was stern, were now trembling even more as his face was filled with anger. Bhadran looked at all of them and gestured for only a few of them to come forward.
They understood why he was calling them and came forward fearfully. Bhadran had a habit. When he was angry, he had to fight. And he would fight until his anger subsided, no matter how long it took, without getting tired.
It is because of these terrible habits that Bhadran is called a monster. As soon as his men arrived, he started fighting them with his bare hands. Without showing any partiality, even though they were his own men, he beat them until they bled. Hari and Sarath, who were standing a short distance away, watched what was happening in shock.
Sarath, trembling slightly, asked in a low voice, "Brother, why is Master so angry?" To which Hari replied, "I don't know either, he ate well before he left. Ever since he went to that woman's room, he's been this angry." Just as he finished speaking, Bhadran called out to them.
"Sarath!..." Bhadran shouted, and Sarath quickly ran to him, his face gleaming with fear. Bhadran looked at him intensely and asked with a mix of sarcasm and burning anger, "It seems you've started doing a lot of things without my knowledge."
Sarath's body trembled. He couldn't even speak properly due to fear. "It's not like that, Master," he managed to say, his life flashing before his eyes in fear.
Turning back and scorching Sarath with his gaze, he punched a man who came towards him hard in the face, sending him flying. He further added, "What do you mean, 'it's not like that'? Have you learned to lie now too?" As he growled in a low voice, the man suddenly knelt before Bhadran and said, "Forgive me, Master... the elder master asked me to bring it."
Bhadran sat down on a chair, crossing his legs, and looking at Sarath who was kneeling, he threatened, "He asked, and you gave it. That's all fine. But shouldn't you have told me? Don't you even have that much sense? Or has your fear of me disappeared?"
Unable to bear it any longer, Sarath tightly gripped his feet. "Master... please forgive me. It was because he told me to..." As he tried to offer some explanation, Bhadran's angry gaze silenced him.
Finally, he shouted, "Get lost! I'm letting you go this one time. But if you ever think of doing anything behind my back again, I'll skin you alive and salt your flesh!"
He opened the water bottle on the table, drank some water, and then said, "You've given him the gun, now you're going to be his bodyguard. You have to take good care of him." Sarath was shocked.
Immediately, he wanted to say to Bhadran, "Master, not me, Master, please assign someone else as the younger master's bodyguard." But he couldn't. He knew that if anyone objected to his orders, he would simply chop off their head. So he remained silent.
Hari, who came closer, went straight to Bhadran and said, "Bhadra, I'll be Theeran's bodyguard."
"I'm fine," he said, with something on his mind. Bhadran looked at him thoughtfully, nodded as if in agreement, and got up and went inside.
As soon as he left, Sarath grabbed Hari's hand and said, "Brother, I never even dreamed that you would save me. Thank you so much," and then ran away from there. Poor thing, he was so afraid of Theeran.
Here, Mullai, who had carried Theeran to the room, didn't know what she was feeling. Confusion was the predominant emotion in her mind. A little later, Narayanan brought Vaishnavi to the room, said, "Good night, darlings," and went to his own room.
Mullai took the bedsheet she had brought and spread it on the floor below the bed. She didn't want to sleep on the bed. After all, she was just a stranger in this house, wasn't she? So she lay down on the floor, and Theeran and Vaishnavi lay down on either side of her, hugging Mullai.
Within a few minutes, both of them fell asleep, but Mullai couldn't sleep. Every time she closed her eyes, she remembered Janvi kissing Bhadran. For some reason, she couldn't bear it. Her heart ached, and tears flowed from her eyes involuntarily. She didn't even know why she was crying.
"Who? What does it matter to me who kissed whom? I won't be upset about all this," she told herself many times, trying to calm her mind. But she couldn't.
She fell asleep in that sorrow, and that's when Bhadran opened the door and came inside. Seeing that no one was on the bed, he looked around the room thoughtfully, and when he saw them sleeping on the floor, his anger returned.
He quickly went to wake them up, but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the tear stains on Mullai's cheek. "Why is she crying now?" "She won't even tell me what the problem is," he thought to himself and quietly went and lay down on the bed. He couldn't sleep either. He slowly turned and looked at them.
Vaishu and Theeran were lying down, their arms and legs wrapped around Mullai, hugging her. Theeran, in particular, had pulled Mullai's saree pallu over himself and rested his face on her chest. His mouth was slightly open, and saliva was dripping onto her chest.
Seeing this scene, various thoughts crossed his mind. Unable to tear his gaze away, he kept looking at them. At one point, he got up from the bed and tried to lift Vaishu to put her back on the bed. But she was holding onto Mullai tightly. He then left her and went to lift Theeran, but he was still comfortably asleep, his face buried in Mullai's chest.
His mind began to feel confused. "Even in their sleep, they won't let go of Mullai?" "Then how can I separate them completely?" he thought for a moment.
Having tried several times and failed, and not wanting to sleep alone in the bed, he lay down on the bare floor next to Vaishnavi. The floor was cold. The room was very cold because of the air conditioning. Yet, without turning it off for a reason, he quietly put his arm around Vaishnavi and lay down.
As he expected, Vaishnavi, who turned over after a while, felt the cold and climbed onto Bhadran and lay down. Bhadran, who had been waiting for this, gently lifted her like a flower and covered her with the blanket. A gentle breeze of joy was blowing in his heart.
Wishing that the coming nights would be the same, he slowly closed his eyes and began to sleep. It was beautiful to see them as a family like this. The sleep that hadn't come to Bhadran even after sleeping on a king-size bed with all the amenities for so many days, came to him today. He slept soundly.
In the morning, Mullai was lying with her head on Bhadran's chest. Bhadran was lying with his arm around her waist, while Theeran and Vaishnavi were sleeping separately on the side. Seeing their state, the sun seemed to be shy, hiding behind the clouds.
It was Theeran who woke up first. He quickly got up and turned to look at his mother next to him, and was shocked to see Bhadran and Mullai sleeping together, embracing each other. He glared at Bhadran. As if sensing Theeran's glare even in his sleep, Bhadran slowly opened his eyes, looked at Theeran who was glaring at him with confusion, and tried to get up, but couldn't.
He bent down to see what was happening and saw Mullai lying with her face buried in his chest, and he kept looking at her. Annoyed by this, Theeran shouted, "Amma..." in a voice that shook the entire room. Startled by the sound, Mullai woke up and fell back onto Bhadran. Her wedding chain... Bhadran's shirt was caught on a button.
Their breaths mingled as they stood close together. Their eyes were locked on each other. Vaishu, who had just woken up, was watching this scene with her mouth agape. Theeran, too, was staring at them with a frown.
