Chapter 26 - "Grandpa asked me to come."

Mullai, thinking Bhadran was asleep, was playing with him when she accidentally poked him in the nose. He glared at her, and for a few moments, she was flustered, wondering what to say to cover it up. Then, regaining her composure, she began to speak.

"Uh... it... it's... Sir, there was a mosquito on your nose. I thought I'd swat it before it bit you, so I came to hit it, sorry Sir," she stammered, then quickly went back and sat in her original place. After a while, she glanced at him again, only to find him still glaring at her.

Mullai felt a sudden pang of anxiety. "Oh my God, I couldn't keep my hands and feet still... I've gone and gotten myself into trouble! Oh no, he's glaring! I wonder what he's going to do?" she muttered to herself, and after that, she didn't even look at him again.

Although Hari noticed this, he pretended not to and drove the car into Bhadran's villa. Just like the first time, she was excitedly looking at the surrounding garden, and as soon as the car stopped, Mullai was the first to get out and run into the house.

Bhadran, watching her, got out of the car and followed her. There, Narayanan was sitting on the sofa, teaching Vaishnavi how to write, while Theeran was sitting next to them with a laptop on his lap, typing something intently.

Looking at him, he resembled a king doing some important work. His little eyebrows, which frequently contracted and expanded, looked so beautiful. Bhadran watched him and sat down next to Theeran.

That's all it took for Theeran to look up, glare at his father, and say, "Don't you have any sense at all? You're peeking at someone's laptop!" He switched off the laptop while scolding Bhadran and looked up.

Rubbing his small forehead with a finger, he looked at Bhadran and said, "I absolutely hate it if anyone touches or even looks at my laptop without my permission." Everyone except Mullai looked at him in surprise at his manner of speaking.

Especially on Narayanan's face, something flashed and disappeared like lightning. Because Theeran's action was an exact replica of Bhadran's. Bhadran too would often rub his forehead when he was tense. Moreover, the sternness on Theeran's face was quite frightening to behold.

For the first time, Bhadran looked at Theeran suspiciously. But just then, Janvi came out of her room, called out "Mama," and came to his side. As she was about to say something, Bhadran's phone rang. He immediately took it out of his pocket, checked who it was, and then answered it, holding it thoughtfully to his ear.

"Bhadra," his grandfather's voice boomed from the other end. "Bhadra, take Janvi and come to see me immediately. We need to discuss something important," he said like a command and hung up the phone.

Bhadran looked at Janvi questioningly. She hesitated and said, "That... Mama... Grandpa called and told me to come with you to see him."

Rubbing his forehead, Bhadran got up and went outside. Janvi followed him, and then Narayanan called out, "Bhadra," making him stop and turn around. Narayanan lifted Vaishnavi and handed her to Bhadran, saying, "Here, take your daughter and go..." Then, seeing Theeran still watching them, he asked doubtfully, "Son, are you going too?"

But Theeran replied, "Absolutely, Grandpa, how can I not go?" He got down from the sofa, walked towards Bhadran, and said, "Mom, please make eggplant curry for me. I'll eat it when I come back," and then left.

Annoyed by this, Janvi looked at Narayanan and angrily asked, "Uncle, why are you sending them with us now?"

Narayanan retorted sarcastically, "They are his children; they are going with their father. What's the problem for you in this?" She controlled the irritation she felt, not showing it outwardly. She said, "No, Uncle, no, I don't have any problem," and left.

Although Janvi spoke like this outwardly, a different thought ran through her mind. "Anyway, once they get there, Grandpa will humiliate these little devils and chase them away like dogs. We can be happy watching that. After that humiliation, they and their mother will leave this place for good," she thought scornfully as she walked away.

However, she had forgotten an important thing. She didn't realize then that as long as Bhadran was with them, he wouldn't let even a speck of dust touch those children.

While Mullai watched them leave with concern, Narayanan came to her side and said, "My dear, nothing will happen to them. Don't worry, go and rest. You just came back from the office."

"Go," he said, sending her away.

Mullai nodded hesitantly and went inside the house.

Hari went ahead to drive the car, but Bhadran said, "You stay here, I'll take care of it," and helped Vaishnavi into the front seat. Then, looking at Theeran, he also got into the front seat with Vaishnavi. After all, they were both children, weren't they? That's why they were able to sit in the same seat. He fastened their seatbelts and then got into the driver's seat.

Janvi had already gotten in earlier. She was very happy. Because she was the one who, since Bhadran's marriage yesterday, had been crying and exaggerating everything that was happening here to her grandfather.

Most importantly, she had misrepresented the incident where Bhadran had hit her for their sake. The grandfather, furious about it, had called him now because he wanted to talk to Bhadran about it immediately.

Bhadran started driving the car slowly. He had never driven this slowly before. His car usually flies like the wind. Today, because the children were with him, he was driving slowly.

No one spoke to anyone. The journey was silent. Feeling sleepy, Vaishnavi rested her head on Theeran's lap and soon fell asleep.

In half an hour, the car stopped in front of the large mansion. Bhadran opened the door and got out. He went to the other side and lifted the sleeping Vaishnavi onto his shoulder. Looking at Theeran, who also slowly got down, he wondered what he was thinking? For the first time, Theeran held Bhadran's hand and walked inside with him.

Bhadran looked at him in surprise, then lovingly looked at Theeran's tiny hand holding his, and tried to lift him, but Theeran resisted, pushing him away and glaring at Bhadran. Seeing him pull away, Bhadran looked at Theeran with longing. Bhadran. Until now, he had never longed for anything. Whatever he wanted, he would get it the moment he desired it.

This monster, who lives and breathes in a world of blood, would never have imagined that he would yearn for affection like this. Theeran, seeing Bhadran's vulnerable state, went inside the house first, without even holding his hand.

Bhadran felt a pang of regret. "Damn, he could have at least held my hand. I ruined that too, didn't I?" he thought, following Theeran inside. The mansion was incredibly beautiful. Many guards stood around, all of them looking at Bhadran with shock and surprise.

There was some murmuring about him. "Is this really our master? Oh my! I can't believe my eyes. He's even brought two children with him?" they whispered in confusion.

Everyone there was shocked to see Bhadran, who was always merciless, carrying a child in his arms. Bhadran's aunt, Narmada, who was sitting on the sofa inside, was startled for a moment when she saw Theeran. Because he looked exactly like Bhadran.

While Narmada was looking at Theeran in confusion, she then saw Bhadran carrying Vaishnavi, and her heart began to ache strangely, as if she were about to have a heart attack.

"Whose children are these? Why is he carrying them? I don't understand anything! That boy looks just like Bhadran!" she thought, and quickly went to Bhadran's side. She began to openly pour out the questions in her mind.

"Bhadra, whose children are these?" "Why did you bring them here?" he asked urgently, but Bhadran ignored him and went straight to his grandfather's room on the upper floor.

Although he left without answering, as usual, she could no longer contain her curiosity. She wanted to know about the children and the connection between them and Bhadran.

Bhadran and the two children reached the grandfather's room. Janvi, who followed them, was also walking with irritation. Inside, the grandfather, who was taking the pills given by Somu, glared at Bhadran upon seeing him carrying a child.

Bhadran went to his grandfather and asked, "Why did you ask me to come, Grandpa? What's the matter?" keeping his face stern. But the grandfather, looking at the child in Bhadran's arms and Theeran, irritably asked, "Hey, why did you bring them here? Who are they? Why are you carrying someone else's child?"

"First, get rid of them and that girl you brought from the house. What is your status? What is your standing? Of all things, you marry a woman of questionable character and carry her children around as if they were your own? Aren't you ashamed?" he shouted angrily.

Upon hearing that, Bhadran's face slowly began to transform into a volcano of rage. Standing near the doorway and hearing these words, Janvi felt a surge of excitement. She thought that the trouble with Mullai and the two children was finally going to end.
