Chapter 138: The Rhino Man Escapes
"Put him down immediately!" Five armored vehicles quickly surrounded Aleksei.
"Pah!" Aleksei spat. "Which bitch locked me up in here?"
The armed police surrounding Aleksei looked at each other. A leader-like figure among them said, "Monster, the police are giving you one last chance. Let the man go! Then squat down and raise your hands."
Snap~ Crunch!
Aleksei twisted the neck of the person in his hand, then tossed him casually onto the ground like garbage. He said, "Alright, I've let him go now. But squatting down and covering my head? Sorry, I can't do that."
"Open fire."
Rat-a-tat-tat~ Rat-a-tat-tat~ Rat-a-tat-tat~ Bang!
Bullets rained down from all directions. Aleksei lifted the hood of a car and used it to shield himself from the flying bullets. He used the car hood primarily because he was afraid the bullets would hit his face. His other body parts were fine, but his face was indeed his weakness.
"Agh! A Rhino does not tolerate insults!" Aleksei, carrying the car hood, lunged towards an armored vehicle. With a force of over ten tons, he flipped the entire car over, sending the nearby armed personnel flying.
Tossing away the car hood in his hand, Aleksei picked up his new toy, the armored vehicle, and used it as a weapon.
"Die!" Aleksei swung the five-meter-long armored vehicle around like a broom, sweeping away bugs, and crushing the attacking armed personnel into meat patties one by one.
One of the armed officers pulled a hand grenade from his waist, removed the pin, and threw it at Aleksei. Aleksei turned around and saw the grenade, immediately falling to the ground in fear. Boom! The grenade exploded on his back.
"Huh? I'm fine?" Aleksei touched his back. It seemed the grenade couldn't hurt him either.
"Haha~ I'm fine~" Aleksei stood up excitedly, dancing around on the spot.
"Let's go, before this maniac notices us." Two armed officers slowly backed away. At this point, they were the only ones left alive at the scene.
Aleksei naturally heard the two men talking. He slowly crouched down and began picking up shattered pieces of glass.
"Have some snacks!" Aleksei suddenly turned around and threw the glass shards in his hands.
Smash!
Most of the glass shards hit the cars, but the rest embedded themselves in the two armed officers trying to escape. Blood flowed from the corners of the officers' mouths, their bodies covered in glass shards. They collapsed in a pool of blood.
"Hmph~" Aleksei wiped a streak of blood from his face. It was a cut he accidentally inflicted on himself while throwing the glass shards. "I must become stronger!" Aleksei was terrified of dying, and the only way to become immortal was to cover his face with this rhino armor as well.
Aleksei scanned the surroundings, confirming no one was alive. He walked over to a manhole cover, punched it to pieces, and then climbed inside.
"Agh~ Rhino hates the sewer smell~" Aleksei pinched his nose and jumped into the sewer. Oris had instructed him to use the sewer as a secret route to prevent the organization from being exposed.
"Fifty thousand~ Fifty thousand~" Aleksei could barely stand the horrible stench and had to comfort himself by thinking of the fifty thousand dollars waiting for him.
Laboratory
"Hmm? Aleksei, you're back?" Dr. Wounds heard the door opening and turned around to see Aleksei.
Aleksei walked up to Dr. Wounds with a sullen expression and said, "Doctor, can you also cover my face with this rhino skin battlesuit?"
"What?" Dr. Wounds was surprised. "Why do you want that?"
"Those cops kept shooting at my face with bullets," Aleksei said, pointing to his face.
Dr. Wounds set down his coffee and gestured toward Aleksei's face with one hand. "Indeed, it's not perfect like this."
"So, Doctor, you agree?" Aleksei was delighted. If his face was also covered by the rhino battlesuit, he would be invincible.
"It's possible, but the experiment will be very dangerous," Dr. Wounds said. The reason he hadn't covered Aleksei's face last time was to greatly reduce the risk of the experiment. If the face were to be sealed off as well, the danger coefficient would increase significantly. Dr. Wounds didn't want his first test subject to fail, which is why he only sealed off everything but Aleksei's face.
"Dangerous? Will I die?" Aleksei hesitated when he heard this.

"Oh, I see." Aleksei confidently patted his chest. "Don't worry, Doctor. I'm not afraid of pain." Compared to pain, he was more afraid of being shot and killed by a bullet to the face.
"But Aleksei, you're in such a rush to do this experiment. Are you only afraid of those police officers?" Dr. Wounds asked.
Aleksei nodded and immediately told Dr. Wounds everything that had happened that day.
"It sounds like that Spider-Man is also a mutated test subject," Dr. Wounds mused.
"I don't care what he is. All that matters is that I'm going to crush that bug, and that black-clothed monster next to him!" Bang! Aleksei was exceptionally furious as he said this, punching the table and collapsing it.
"Don't worry. With me here, you will definitely defeat that Spider-Man," Dr. Wounds was very confident in his test subject.
"When can we start?" Aleksei asked, turning his head.
Dr. Wounds smiled. "Anytime."
Night Falls
"Silas, catch!" Peter threw a glass of juice to Silas.
Silas caught the juice smoothly without spilling a drop. He said, "Peter, it's only five steps away, and you still have to throw it."
"I was just practicing my reflexes~" Peter came up to Silas, put his arm around Silas's shoulder, and said, "Silas, should we sneak over to Teacher Klein's house tonight to take a look?"
"Maybe we'll find something unexpected," Peter suggested.
Silas rolled his eyes. "Are you just thinking about that now, Peter? I already sent the Shadowkhan army to check the teacher's house."
"You did?" Peter was surprised that Silas had already taken action.
Silas was about to pull out his game controller to continue the game he and Peter hadn't finished last time, but then the Shadowkhan army at Klein's house suddenly sent a message.
"Alright, we have serious business now, Peter." Silas turned his head and saw Peter already in his Spider suit.
Peter said, "Was that fast? I've worked hard to practice this over the past few days."
"Fast~ Extremely fast," Silas said, cooperatively applauding.
Thump-thump-thump~ Then, a sound of footsteps approached.

"Silas, Peter, what are you two doing?" Ben Parker pushed the door open and asked.
