Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: The Pink Hat

Chapter 115: The Pink Hat

"Silas, what are you thinking about?" Peter asked, jumping in through the window.

Silas snapped out of his thoughts. "You're back early today?"

"Yeah. I walked around a few times and found that people were behaving themselves quite well, so I came back with the Teacher," Peter said, sitting beside Silas.

Silas glanced at the window. "Where is the Teacher? Didn't you invite him to sit down?"

"He had something to do and went home," Peter said. He had wanted to ask the Teacher to hang out too, as he and Silas were the only ones who could really talk to Klein in his current appearance.

"Something to do?" Silas wondered. In Klein's current state, what could he possibly do? He couldn't go handle business looking like an insect.

"Tomorrow is a holiday. Silas, are you planning on going out?" Peter asked, lying down on Silas's bed.

"Mhm. I made plans with Misty for the weekend. Why? Do you need something?" Silas asked.

Peter lay on his side, supporting his head with his hand. "Silas, you wouldn't abandon your brother just because you have a girlfriend, would you?"

"How could I? Tell me what it is." Silas knew that if Peter said that, he definitely needed a favor.

"There's a new technology exhibition tomorrow. You won't make me go alone, will you?" Peter said with a pleading look.

Silas twitched his mouth. "What about Ned? Doesn't he usually go with you?"

"He's busy. He said he's nurturing his relationship with his girlfriend," Peter said. Ned was the first person he asked.

"Alright, then. I'll ask Misty to come with us to the exhibition tomorrow." Silas and Misty hadn't finalized where they were going anyway. Since Peter brought it up, he'd go with him. The only issue was that Peter would probably be a third wheel all day tomorrow.

"That's great! Don't worry, Silas, I just need someone to accompany me. I definitely won't bother you and Misty," Peter understood the relationship between Misty and Silas and just needed someone to go to the exhibition with.

"Mhm. Tomorrow at ten in the morning," Silas set the time.

"No problem, you can count on me." Peter gave an OK gesture, went to the next room, took off his Spider-Suit, changed into casual clothes, and returned to Silas's room.

Silas looked at the now casually dressed Peter. "Why are you here so late instead of sleeping?"

"Come on, Silas, it's still early. Let's continue the fighting game we didn't finish last time." Peter snapped his fingers excitedly. Spider-Man, after all, was just an ordinary high school student.

Silas looked at Peter's confidence. "You look energetic. Don't let me crush you again."

"Last time was just an accident. I'm serious this time," Peter said, eager to play, holding the controller.

Silas smiled and shook his head, picking up his own controller. "Hey, I even let you win one round last time."

"I don't need it this time," Peter countered stubbornly.

Ben Parker opened the door and walked into the room. Seeing the controllers in the Parker brothers' hands, he asked, "How's the game going, boys?"

"We haven't started yet, Uncle Ben. We were just about to," Silas explained.

Peter asked, "Is something the matter, Uncle Ben?"

"Well, because of the car rental issue last time, the outing might not have been very pleasant. I bought a new car this time. How about a fun outing tomorrow?" Uncle Ben said happily.

"Uh... about that, Uncle Ben..." Peter felt awkward. How should he answer? He had finally found someone to go to the exhibition with, but Uncle Ben wanted to go on an outing.

"What is it, Peter? You don't want to go?" Ben Parker thought Peter's expression meant he didn't want to go.

Peter quickly waved his hands. "No, no, no! Uncle Ben, it's just that Silas and I just agreed to go to the exhibition tomorrow."

"Oh, I see." Ben Parker thought for a moment. "Then we'll go to the exhibition tomorrow."

"Wait!" Silas called out. What about Misty? How would he explain it to Uncle Ben?

"What is it now?" Ben Parker asked, puzzled.

"It's like this, Uncle Ben. Silas is bringing a female classmate tomorrow, and it might be inconvenient," the honest Peter truthfully revealed.

"Oh~ I understand, then. Don't worry, Silas, I won't bother you," Ben Parker said, coming over and patting Silas on the shoulder.

"..." Silas glared at Peter with a dark expression, but Peter just shrugged, saying he was just telling the truth.

"Don't worry, Silas. I used to be an expert at dating. I'll teach you," Ben Parker whispered in Silas's ear.

"Thank you, Uncle Ben," Silas said verbally, but in his mind, he was thinking: My date has been completely ruined!

"Alright, you two start your game. Whoever loses, it's my turn to play," Ben Parker said, rolling up his sleeves.

Another Location

"That accursed masked man," Loki said, sitting on a rock. The sudden appearance of the masked man had disrupted his plan, especially since the masked man seemed to know about the Infinity Stones and went straight for the Stone in his hand.

"What should we do?" Barton asked nearby.

Loki narrowed his eyes for a moment, then opened them. "The plan remains unchanged, but we need to be more careful."

"If you see the masked man, run immediately. If you get caught, I won't help you," Loki said, standing up. To ensure his plan succeeded, he had to make use of the Midgardians.

"I'm going to Germany. You wait here for my instructions." Loki waved his hand and vanished.

Somewhere in Germany

Loki appeared, controlling the crowd at the scene, trying to force them to submit to him.

"I said, kneel!" Loki shouted, raising the Scepter, while also vigilantly looking around, fearing the masked man would suddenly attack him.

Loki slowly walked into the crowd. "Isn't this what you were created for?"

"You madly pursue power and status, but deep down, you are full of servility. Sooner or later, you will submit to your ruler." As Loki was brainwashing the crowd, an old man tremblingly stood up. "But not to a man like you."

"I am unique," Loki said, looking at the old man.

"There are plenty of shameless people like you," the old man said calmly.

"Haha~ Look at him, everyone. This is your model of courage." Loki raised the Scepter, pointed it at the old man, and fired a beam of light.

In the nick of time, a man wearing a blue uniform and holding a shield appeared in front of the old man, blocking the beam of light.

"The last time I was in Germany, there was another man who stood above everyone else. He was eventually defeated." The newcomer was the familiar Captain America, Steve Rogers.

And so, Loki and Steve fought. As time passed, the Avengers began to arrive at the scene.

Seeing that the time was right, Loki intentionally exposed a weakness, allowing Tony to capture him.

"That's right," Loki thought. The intelligence of Midgardians is truly this foolish.

Loki was handcuffed by Steve and escorted onto a jet, ready to be sent to Nick Fury.

Aboard the Jet

"This reindeer is much easier to catch than a bug," Tony said, standing behind Natasha.

"You blaspheme a god," Loki said, looking back at Tony.

Tony mocked him. "Hmm? I've never met such a weak god."

Loki didn't say anything more, instead lowering his head, thinking about something. RUMBLE RUMBLE~ Just then, the sound of thunder boomed in the sky. Loki suddenly raised his head and looked up.

"What, are you afraid of thunder, too?" Steve thought Loki was reacting because he was afraid of thunder.

"No~ I'm just annoyed by the guy who makes the thunder," Loki said, a slight smile on his lips.

In the thunderclouds, Thor, wielding Mjolnir, flew toward the jet carrying Tony and the others.

"Huh?" Everyone in the plane felt the movement. Tony immediately heightened his alertness and quickly put on his Iron Man helmet. Just as he walked to the hatch control and opened the door, Thor flew right in, punched Tony away, grabbed Loki by the collar, and flew off with him.

"Mmm~" Tony shook his head and stood up. "Come on!" Whoosh! Tony pursued them.

On the Summit

"Loki, do you know how much everyone missed you?" Thor stood in front of Loki and said.

"So you all held a memorial service for me?" Loki chuckled.

"Loki! I thought you were dead! Father and I missed you terribly," Thor said, grabbing Loki's collar, his tone somewhat angry.

"No, your father did," Loki said calmly.

"We truly love you," Thor said, seriously looking into Loki's eyes.

"So! You sent me a pink hat?!" Loki threw a pink hat from his chest.

Thor glanced at the hat on the ground. "Hmm... I didn't think you would keep it, Loki. Are you secretly fond of us after all?"

"No, I am not. I kept this to remind myself of the shame you brought me," Loki stated.

"Loki, listen to me..." Before Thor could finish his sentence, Tony, descending from the sky, shoved him off the mountain peak.

"Mhm? I'm listening, brother..." Loki said, looking down the mountain.
