After gaining a new friend we took the metal ore back to camp where Buneary was still trying to make the sad Pupitar happy but it wasn't working from the looks of it.
"Tink!" Though seeing the Pupitar from behind Tinkatink thought it was a lump of metal ore and before I could say anything it hopped on down before proceeding to hit it with its little metal rattle hammer.
"Pupi?!"While it didn't hurt it, since Tinkatink is particularly weak in her base evolution, it did startle Pupitar into floating off the ground and looking back to see who just hit it.
"Pupi!"
"Tink! Tinky Tink!"
Pupitar began to get angry while Tinkatink waved its hands and appeared to be apologizing to Pupitar as she thought he was a pile of metal Ore.
"Now Pupitar, I know Tinkatink didn't mean to do that and I can tell she said sorry so how about some metal ore to eat so you can calm down?" I asked it as I stepped between the two while Tinkatink hid behind my leg seeming a bit scared.
"Pupi….." It looked to the side feeling depressed again and was going to lay down again until-
*Gurgle*
I could hear Pupitar's stomach rumbling as I knelt down beside it and placed some metal ore in front of it.
"Please Pupitar you need to eat something, think of your parent, like I said they wouldn't have done everything to protect you only to see you starve yourself to death." I said to it as I couldn't stand the sight of Pupitar being like this but this was all I could do as I didn't have a way to force it to eat or anything.
Hearing this and thinking about its parent along with the tasty ore in front of it, it reluctantly and slowly began to eat the ore as while it had no appetite still it didn't want its parents sacrifice be for nothing and thus it began to eat.
"Bun bun!" Buneary was clearly happy to see Pupitar eating but it was clear that it was still sad and didn't know what to do.
"Bun….. Bun! Bun Bun!" Buneary seemed down before thinking of something and jumping up and down as she looked at me and pointed outside.
"You want to go out to get something to make Pupitar feel better?" I asked to which she nodded eagerly.
Seeing that I didn't want to leave her be so I looked at my Pokemon, "Misdreavus and Venipede, how about you two go with her and see what you can find that might make Pupitar feel better." I told the two of them but my hopes weren't really high for making a Pokemon feel better after such a tragic loss.
"Dreavus!"
"Veni!"
The two both seemed eager to help as well so the three of them headed out of the cave while I stayed back with Tinkatink to look after Pupitar here in the cave.
"Just run back here if your in danger!" I called out to which they nodded back as they headed off into the Jungle.
"Maybe they will get lucky and really find something." I said to myself as I stoked the fire and ate some berries we collected yesterday that we still have in stock.

Meanwhile Buneary, Misdreavus and Venipede all headed out to find something to make Pupitar feel better.
"Dreavus? (So do you have any idea what could make Pupitar feel better?)"
"Veni? (Maybe some rare metal?)"
"Bun! Bun! (Pupitar eats metal all the time, it might not even have a favorite metal now! We should look for something that could sooth its heart!)"
They kept talking while looking around for something to make Pupitar feel better, though they didn't know if they could find anything to make Pupitar feel better.
Though Buneary stopped and started smelling the air, "Bun! (Something smells sweet!)" she said as a sweet scent began to fill the nearby area.
Soon enough they heard the sound of a nearby bush rustling before a small Bounsweet bounced out from the bush as it was skipping along but its face looked like it was scared.
"Squee! (Wait! I just want to take you to my nest!)" Suddenly a pudgy Greedent hopped out of the bush as it was chasing the Bounsweet.
"Bou! (No! You just want to eat me!)" It cried out clearly scared as it ran in the direction of our three adventurous Pokemon.
"Bou! Bou! (Please help! I don't want to be eaten!)" It cried out as it ran towards them.
Now most Wild Pokemon wouldn't care to help, Law of the Jungle and all that, but now that these three were tamed they were less leaning into the Wild Pokemon mentality.
"Veni! Veni? (Maybe we should help! Pulse she smells nice and maybe that could help Pupitar feel better?)" Venipede said which to the other two made sense so they decided to step in as they went and shielded from the Greedent who had to skid to a stop.
"Squee! Squee! (Hey! What's the big idea? I had my eyes on that Bounsweet! You can't have it!)" The Greedent said clearly angry at being stopped by the three in front of it.
"Bun? Bun! (Why do you want her anyway? She's not a berry!)" Buneary said back to the Greedent.
"Squee! Squee! (Cause she smells good that's why! What Greedant doesn't want a nice smelling Bounsweet in their burrow! It makes eating berries later taste sweeter!)" Greedant retorted back while it stamped its foot and thrashed its tail, to which a lot of berrys fell out.
"…. Dreavus….. (…. How could you keep a Bounsweet if you just keep dropping your berries from your tail like that?…..)" Misdreavus said as a bunch of Greedent's berries fell out of its massive fluffy tail.
Hearing that Greedent looked back and appeared shocked, "Squee! (My Berries!)" it then went and began to regather its berries, but then it would move its tail and more berries would fall out leading it to constantly spin in circles in order to pick up the berries it kept dropping.
"Bun! (Let's go!)" Buneary grabbed And pulled Bounsweet away as the Greedent kept trying and failing to fill its tail up with its massive berries.
What should have only taken a few minutes resulted in a few hours of Greedent trying to recollect all its berries until it got them in the right spots before so they wouldn't fall out only for it to look around and seem confused.
"….. Squee? (….. What was I doing again?)" with Greedents rather short term memory it completely forgot about the Bounsweet it wanted and went back into the forest to forage for an even larger pile of berry's.
Back to the present, I was stoking the fire when I heard the sounds of the three Pokemon return, but when I looked it wasn't just three but four.
Looks like they found themselves a new friend while on their journey today.
