It's been a few days since I caught Wooloo and I have gone out to the plains to have my Pokemon to battle more Wooloo's in the grasslands outside the jungle as it was the best things to fight with only Pupitar being the strongest Pokemon I had captured.
Larvitar doesn't evolve into Pupitar until level 30, and while it's said they could destroy mountains but I think that saying was more accurate for the final evolution into Tyranitar, but Pupitar was easily strong enough to break larger boulders and metal nodes.
During these past few days besides helping the younger pokemon slowly getting stronger I would sheer the Wooloo's they beat, though not all the way like I did with my Wooloo who has already grown enough fur to be somewhat warm now, I needed to feed it plenty of berries for it to forgive me while petting it a plenty.
But I came up with a thought as I pulled out all my pokemon as a new day began, "I think it's time we built ourselves a real home." To which they seemed confused.
"The cave is good and all, but other Pokemon could end up wandering into our cave, so I think it's best we made it better and safer for us to live in." I didn't have plans to move out of the cave but it should be more well defended.
Problem was I didn't have any strong pokemon, pokemon with sharp claws, or psychic pokemon so I had no easy way to make myself well cut logs to make a house or just wooden walls.
"Looks like we will need to find a stronger pokemon." I say rubbing my chin as Pupitar floated on over to me.
"Pupi!" Seemingly saying that it was strong, which made me rub its shell.
"Yeah your strong Pupitar, but you don't know how to properly take down a tree without splintering the tree, what we need is a pokemon with the ability to evenly cut down trees and carry them to help build some walls around the cave, actually I do have something that you can help with Pupitar." I said while looking at it.
"Pupi?"
"I need you to help expand the cave and make it deeper, or even better help connect the cave to the other side of the cliff we find ourselves inside of." I said to it.
The cave was located at the bottom of a Cliff separating the jungle area from the nearby mountains, behind the cliff about a mile or so away is where we found the cliff ended into a valley where we have been finding all the metal ore deposits for Pupitar to eat and help Tinkatink make her hammer larger and when it's big enough she will evolve.
"Pupi!" Pupitar nodded as it could handle that as it was a natural born Earth digger and eating stone, dirt and metal is its main diet after all so it could quite easily make caves out of the ground.
"But remember Pupitar, you can't just dig in a straight line okay? You need to slowly widen the cave the further you go in to match the size of the entrance here, otherwise the cave might collapse and that could hurt or even accidentally kill us." I remind it as while I never went to college for Architecture I did have a friend who was into it and he did explain how natural caves formed and how architects and engineers learned How to mimic naturally forming caves in order to build them without needing any support beams ands that's by making naturally shaped arches within the rock.
So I drew a half circle with a stick on the ground, "Just keep making the cave longer looking like this, that way the cave will be able to support itself in the long run and later then we can reinforce it when more pokemon come and join us while making it a safe haven for everyone as well." I went onto explain.
"Pupi!" Pupitar seemed to get what I was talking about and soon headed to the back of the cave to get to work where we could feel the rumbling from it slamming into the hard rock wall.
Sure there would be expansions into the cliff side later, but for now this would do, and if not and I find a much better location to set up a house then we can move there instead with the Plains seeming like a good area, but we would have to deal with the wandering herds to make the place a secure territory for us.
'It does say build a house and then build a farm for myself and way later on build a village for me and all the pokemon to live in' I think to myself as I call out to Pupitar.
"Just stop when you get tired Pupitar! There's no rush to you doing it!" I called out so Pupitar doesn't wear itself out.
"Pupiii!" It called back from the cave hearing what I said as I looked down to see Tinkatink tapping my leg.
"Tink! Tink!"
"Hmm? You want to help Pupitar with the cave?" I ask to which she nods as I kneel down to her height and pat her head.
"How about we go get you more metal and when you evolve into Tinkatuff then you can help Pupitar out." After all with her tiny rattle hammer she had a hard time breaking ores so trying to break solid bedrock is beyond her right now.
"Tink…." She seemed down but soon slapped her cheeks to pull herself together and looked at me with a fire in her eyes.
"Tink! Tink!" She really wanted to evolve soon which made me rub my chin in contemplation.
If Tinkatink wants to evolve she needs more metal and actually forge her hammer, her rattle can consume pure ore to make it a bit stronger but the process takes much, much longer with just pure ore to create a new hammer.
"Looks like we will need to make a forge so you can evolve, but to make a forge we need a fire pokemon." I say getting up and looking at everyone as after all the Pokemon battles everyone has now gotten into the teens for level and strength.
"Time for another excursion guys! Let's head to the mountains!" I called out as they all cheered along with me before pulling them all into their Pokeballsleaving Tinkatink out letting her sit on my shoulders.
"Tink! Tink!" She seemed excited as she waved her hammer rattle around as she sat on my shoulders.
"Alright! Time to head to the mountains!" I said as I prepared for the journey ahead before telling Pupitar we are heading to the mountains and will be back later, to which it called back that it understood while keeping up the work.
Next stop the nearby mountains to hunt ourselves a new fire type pokemon, whether we can win it over or have to beat it in combat all depends upon what we find up there.
