It was like the wail of a dying whale mixed with the screech of a rusty hinge.
And then, the second voice joined in.
"LA LA LA LA!"
It was a childish, high-pitched babble that sounded remarkably like a dragon trying to sing opera.
Together, the two voices created a resonance frequency that shattered glass, cracked concrete, and made Maverick's virtual teeth ache.
BOOM.
The dividing wall between the men's and women's baths didn't just break; it disintegrated. The entire bathhouse roof groaned and collapsed inward, burying Berserker Lancelot under tons of rubble.
Maverick and Daisy were blown backward by the sheer force of the acoustic shockwave. They landed hard on the wet pavement outside.
"What..." Maverick groaned, clutching his head. "What is happening?"
He looked up. Standing amidst the ruins, wrapped in towels, were two figures.
One was Nero, looking furious and majestic in her makeshift toga.
The other was a girl with pink hair, horns, and a dragon tail. She was also wrapped in a towel, looking equally indignant.

"Hmph!" Elizabeth huffed, crossing her arms. "You! Who are you to possess such a beautiful voice? It is almost... almost inferior to mine!"
Nero raised an eyebrow. "Hah! Remember this well, lizard girl! I am Nero Claudius! The Emperor of Roses! And my voice is the song of the gods!"
Elizabeth gasped. "An Emperor? Well, I suppose that explains the volume. But I cannot agree with your assessment! My singing is clearly the best in the world! You are merely second best! Like a backup singer!"
Nero's eyes flashed dangerous green fire. "Backup singer?! How dare a mere Blood Countess be so arrogant! If you have the guts, come and compete with me! A sing-off!"
Elizabeth grinned, revealing sharp fangs. "Who's afraid of whom?! Let's rock!"
Maverick, lying on the ground, felt a cold dread wash over him.
"No," he whispered. "No sing-off. Please."
But it was too late.
Nero took a deep breath. Elizabeth took a deep breath.
And then, they unleashed hell.
"HASHIRE SORI YO...""LA LA LA LAAAAAAAAA!"
It wasn't a duet. It was sonic warfare.
[Chat]:[Eardrums]: MAKE IT STOP!
[SAN_Check]: My sanity is dropping! Why do I hear colors?!
[Disconnect]: I'm out. I can't do this.
[Mute]: MUTE THE STREAM! MUTE IT NOW!
The viewer count on Maverick's stream plummeted. People were fleeing in terror. Even the platform admins, monitoring the feed, were ripping their headsets off in agony.
The chaotic noise bled into Daisy's stream as well, creating a stereo nightmare for anyone brave enough to have both tabs open.
Most viewers, desperate for relief, fled to the other streamers.
And the biggest beneficiary of this exodus was Cipher.

But tonight, his luck changed.
As the refugees from the "Singing Disaster" flooded his channel, his viewer count skyrocketed.

"Holy crap," Chen muttered, adjusting his glasses. "Welcome, refugees! Sorry about your ears!"
Chen was playing as Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald (aka the "Kenya Director"). In the lore, Kayneth was a powerful, arrogant mage with top-tier magic circuits. In the game, he was a powerhouse summoner.
Chen had prepared for this. He had spent his only Holy Grail on a specific relic.

He stood on the docks, the salty wind whipping his coat.
"Okay," Chen said to his chat. "Maverick is busy getting his eardrums blown out. Panda is crying about his femboy. Now is our time."
He held up the Trident. It wasn't a real weapon; it was a catalyst. A shard of the Sea God's power.
"I'm not summoning a Servant," Chen explained, his voice calm and analytical. "I'm building a fortress."
He activated his character's unique item: [Volumen Hydragyrum] (The Moon Spirit Elixir).
A blob of silver mercury floated around him, transforming into spikes, shields, and blades automatically.
"And now," Chen said, grinning. "The big one."
He slammed the Trident into the water.
"I call upon the depths!"
The water began to boil.
[Chat]:[Whoa]: What is he doing?
[Summon]: Is he summoning Poseidon?!
[Lore]: You can't summon gods! But maybe a Divine Spirit?
[Thirst]: Look at the mercury! It's so cool!
A massive whirlpool formed in the bay. From the center, something rose.
It wasn't a Servant. It was a monster.
A giant, tentacled sea beast—a Gilles de Rais (Caster) summon, but amplified by the Trident.
Chen had hacked the ritual. Instead of summoning a Heroic Spirit, he had summoned a Gigantic Horror.
"Behold!" Chen laughed. "The ultimate defense! Come and get me, Maverick!"
Back at the Bathhouse Ruins...
Maverick was crawling away. His ears were ringing. His health bar was slowly draining from the [Mental Pollution] debuff.
"Saber!" Maverick yelled over the noise. "Stop singing! Use your sword!"
Nero stopped mid-note. She looked at him, offended.
"Master! Are you interrupting my duet?"
"It's not a duet!" Maverick screamed. "It's a disaster! Look!"
He pointed at the sky.
A massive shadow was falling over the city. From the docks, giant tentacles were rising, smashing buildings and throwing cars.
"A sea monster?" Nero blinked. "How gauche!"
Elizabeth stopped singing too. She puffed out her cheeks. "Hey! That thing is interrupting my concert! Rude!"
Daisy crawled out from behind a pile of rubble. She looked traumatized.
"Maverick," she wheezed. "Truce? Please. Truce."
"Truce," Maverick agreed instantly. "We kill the monster. Then we kill each other. Deal?"
"Deal."
Nero looked at Elizabeth.
"Well, lizard girl," Nero huffed. "It seems we have an audience of one giant squid. Shall we slay it?"
Elizabeth grinned, summoning her microphone-spear. "Let's turn it into calamari!"
[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION][RAID BOSS DETECTED: GIGANTIC HORROR][LOCATION: DOCKS]
"Alright," Maverick stood up, dusting off his towel. "Bath time is over. Let's go save the city."
"Umu!" Nero raised her sword. "To the docks!"
