If Ashiya Douman had any reputation left as a terrifying villain, it evaporated the moment his Master turned into a giant, hard-boiled egg.

Maverick stared up at the monstrosity towering over the temple courtyard. It was grotesque. It was a twenty-foot-tall ovoid of flesh and muscle, smooth as a shell, but with the horrifying, grinning face of Christopher Columbus stretched across the surface. A glowing halo floated above it, mocking the sanctity of the temple.

"Kill me..." the egg gurgled, its voice sounding like Kevin but distorted by layers of cholesterol. "The shells... the crunchy shells..."

Maverick lowered his sniper rifle. "Okay. That's enough internet for today."

[Chat]:[Lore_Master]: ...What am I looking at? [Gamer_Bro]: It's... it's a Columbus Egg. Literally. The madman actually did it. [Clown_Hater]: Douman is a fraud. He backstabs his own Master to make this? [Mechanic_Analyst]: Wait, Servants can kill their Masters? I thought there was a command seal prevention mechanic? [FGO_Vet]: Depends on the Servant. Lu Bu, Spartacus, Douman... if their Affinity is low enough, they will absolutely turn you into a crafting material. Kevin never checked his stats. [KekW]: CLOWN GO BACK TO GOTHAM. BATMAN ISN'T COMING FOR YOU. [Boss_Battle]: It's abstract art. It's horrifying. I love it.

The chat was a mix of horror and hysterical laughter, but on the ground, the situation was dire. The Egg-Monster raised a massive, fleshy hand and swatted at Rider.

Rider dodged, a green blur. She grit her teeth, spinning her spear.

"You disgusting worm!" Rider shouted at Douman. "You sacrificed your ally for this abomination?"

"Kukukuku!" Douman laughed, standing on the temple roof. "It is art! It is power! Now, my creation, crush them!"

Rider didn't waste words. She launched herself into the air, her spear glowing with mana. She aimed for Douman's heart.

SHUNK.

The spear pierced the monk's chest.

POOF.

Douman exploded into a cloud of paper talismans. A paper doll fluttered to the ground, torn in half.

"Substitution jutsu again?!" Rider growled, landing on the roof.

She scanned the perimeter. She spotted a black shadow flitting through the trees, heading away from the temple, down the mountain path.

Douman was running.

He knew his "Ultimate Weapon" was just a distraction. He had burned his Master to buy time. As a Caster, he could survive on the mana harvested from the city for days, even without a Master. He just needed to escape.

"He's fleeing!" Maverick yelled from the gate.

Rider prepared to chase, but the Giant Columbus Egg roared and blocked her path, swinging a massive fist.

"Rider!" Saber shouted, stepping forward. Her blue dress whipped in the wind, and her silver armor gleamed in the moonlight. "Leave Caster to you! If that monk escapes, he will just build another factory. You are the only one fast enough to catch him!"

Rider looked at the massive monster, then at Saber.

"And leave you with the Big Breakfast?" Rider asked. "It's huge, Saber. Can you handle it?"

Saber gripped her invisible sword. Her green eyes were calm, burning with the cold fire of a King.

"I am the King of Knights," Saber stated simply. "I do not fear monsters. Go!"

"Heh." Rider grinned. "I like you, King of Knights. Don't die before I get back!"

Rider whistled. Her chariot, the Gordius Wheel, materialized out of thin air in the sky. She leaped onto it, the bulls roaring as they turned to chase the fleeing monk into the forest.

CRASH.

The Egg-Monster slammed its fist down, shattering the stone pavement where Rider had been standing. It turned its manic, grinning face toward Saber and Maverick.

"DREAMS!" it bellowed. "I SMELL DREAMS!"

Maverick stumbled back as the shockwave hit him. He felt weak. His vision was blurring at the edges.

The battle had dragged on too long. He was a human Master. Supporting a Servant like Artoria, especially after she had used Mana Burst repeatedly, was draining his life force. His "Count of Monte Cristo" template gave him enhanced endurance, but he was running on fumes.

"Master," Artoria's voice rang in his mind. It wasn't spoken aloud; it was a telepathic link.

"I apologize, Master. I took the liberty of sending Rider away."

"It's fine," Maverick thought back, leaning against a stone pillar for support. "It was the right call. But Saber... look at that thing. It regenerates. How do we kill it?"

"I have a way," Artoria replied. Her voice was hesitant. "But... your mana reserves are critical. You cannot sustain a prolonged fight. I need to end this in one strike."

She paused.

"I need an Order Spell. I need you to overcharge my Spirit Origin. If I unleash my Noble Phantasm, I can vaporize every atom of that creature. But the strain might knock you unconscious."

Maverick looked at his hand.

He had three Command Spells—red, geometric tattoos that pulsed with power. They were the most valuable resource in the game. Using one was a massive commitment. It was a tactical nuke.

But he looked at the monster. He looked at the ruined temple. And he looked at Saber, standing small but defiant against a giant.

This wasn't just a game anymore. It was a story. And stories needed a climax.

"Do it," Maverick said aloud. He raised his right hand.

"Master?"

Maverick grinned, ignoring the exhaustion weighing down his limbs.

"I didn't come here to play it safe. I came here to win. Saber!"

The red light on his hand flared, blindingly bright. One of the seals dissolved, transforming into pure, raw magical energy that flooded into Artoria.

"BY THE ORDER OF MY COMMAND SPELL!" Maverick screamed. "ARTORIA PENDRAGON! DESTROY IT!"

"Understood, Master!"

Saber felt the surge of power. It was like a dam breaking. Her fatigue vanished. Her mana core overflowed.

She stepped forward.

She raised her sword. The invisible wind that shrouded the blade began to disperse, revealing the weapon underneath.

It was gold. Pure, radiant gold.

It wasn't just a sword. It was a beacon. It was the crystallization of every soldier's dream, every prayer for peace, every hope for a better tomorrow.

Light began to gather. Particles of gold drifted up from the ground, from the trees, from the very air itself.

"Gathered here is the breath of the stars..." Artoria chanted. Her voice echoed, not just in the temple, but across the entire map.

The Columbus Egg roared, sensing the threat. It charged, lumbering forward like a landslide.

"Shining here is the torrent of life!"

The light grew brighter. It blinded the cameras. It turned night into day.

"This radiance is the hope of the past, present, and future!"

The monster raised its fist to crush her.

Saber swung the sword back. The beam of light extended hundreds of feet into the sky, piercing the clouds.

"It is the proof of life illuminating the earth!"

"WITNESS IT!"

She swung.

"EX—CALIBURRRRRRRR!!!"

VWOOOOOOOM.

It wasn't a laser beam. It was a river of light. A torrent of holy energy that erased everything in its path.

The sound was deafening—a roar that drowned out the world.

The beam hit the Columbus Egg. There was no resistance. The monster didn't scream; it simply ceased to exist. The light disintegrated its flesh, its bones, its curse.

But the beam didn't stop there.

It tore through the temple courtyard. It tore through the main hall. It tore through the mountain itself.

The entire peak of Mount Enzou was vaporized. A massive trench, glowing with molten rock, was carved through the landscape, stretching all the way to the ocean.

Silence returned.

Maverick fell to his knees, gasping for air. His vision was swimming.

[Chat]:[KekW]: HOLY. SHIT. [Lore_God]: EXCALIBUR! SHE SAID THE THING! [Hater]: Okay... okay, I take it back. That was cool. [Tech_Analysis]: THE GRAPHICS! Did you see the particle rendering? That just melted my GPU just watching it! [Simp_Nation]: MY QUEEN! I AM KNEELING! [Meme_Lord]: "CURRY STICK!" SHE SHOUTED CURRY STICK! [Vanguard_Employee]: Boss... we can't compete with this. [RIP_Kevin]: Kevin got vaporized. RIP Bozo. [Tactician]: That cost a Command Spell, but it was worth it. That monster had infinite regen. A tactical nuke was the only option.

Saber stood amidst the steam and ruin. She lowered the sword. The golden light faded, and the invisible wind returned to shroud the blade.

She turned to Maverick. She looked exhausted, but triumphant.

"Target eliminated, Master," Saber said, a small, proud smile on her face.

Maverick gave her a thumbs up before collapsing onto his back, staring at the stars.

"gg," Maverick whispered. "gg."
