Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Yggdrasil Offensive and Defensive Battle (4)

On the frontline battlefield,

The white GINN, piloted by Felix, accelerated toward a Drake-class battleship, evading manually operated beam cannon and electromagnetic railgun attacks. It breached the chaotic close-in weapon system defenses, gripping the heavy sword tightly as it charged toward the bridge.

Its mono-eye gleamed, casting expressions of sheer terror across the faces of everyone inside the bridge.

The white GINN raised its heavy assault machine gun.

Felix pulled the trigger, and bullets erupted in that instant.

The high-velocity, kinetic-energy-rich rounds struck the bridge with precision.

Following a violent explosion, the entire battleship's bridge command system was completely destroyed and paralyzed. Everyone inside the bridge perished in the attack.

Sitting in the cockpit and observing the shattered bridge of the battleship he had just destroyed, Felix turned his machine toward the next battleship.

Shortly after Felix piloted the white GINN away, Griffith's team's Sebastian moved in front of the battleship with the destroyed bridge.

Beam cannons targeted the battleship and opened fire.

A few shots later, the battleship was completely obliterated.

Having dealt with this battleship, they continued to follow the maneuver of Felix's MS.

Inside the Sebastian's bridge,

"The captain's skills are incredible!"

Tactical Commander Valayi gazed at the cosmic scene outside, his voice filled with admiration.

Hearing this, Captain Aric allowed a slight smile to curl his lips.

"The captain's personal combat prowess is arguably the strongest in our ZAFT Forces right now. His achievements in the last campaign were already remarkable.

This time, his performance is no less impressive.

So far, the captain has already destroyed five battleships.

And the number of MAs he's taken out far exceeds that."

Just as he finished speaking, Aric watched as Felix, piloting his MS, destroyed the bridge system of another battleship.

Ending his conversation with the tactical commander, he issued an order.

"Open fire!"

"Yes!"

Valayi nodded in acknowledgment.

He then began issuing commands.

"Target the battleship ahead and open fire!"

Following the order, the beam cannons equipped on the Sebastian aimed and fired at the battleship.

Under the barrage of firepower, the battleship, already stripped of its command system, instantly exploded and tore apart, becoming space debris.

On the battlefield,

The white GINN replaced the magazine of its heavy assault machine gun.

Under Felix's control, it turned and fired behind it.

A single shot obliterated a Mobius attempting a sneak attack.

With that threat eliminated, the heavy assault machine gun was holstered at its waist, and another heavy sword was drawn.

Felix's fingers danced across the keyboard, writing new code and maneuvering instructions.

The white GINN tested the newly programmed maneuvering instructions with a few movements, then, under Felix's control, surged forward in an assault.

It dodged bullets fired by three Mobius units.

Rapidly closing in on one Mobius, the heavy sword was swung with force, landing heavily on the Mobile Armor.

With a single slash, the Mobius's cockpit was shattered, the pilot instantly killed, followed by the Mobius exploding. Before the explosion occurred, the white GINN, under Felix's control, had already maneuvered away.

Dodging the incoming bullets with agile movements, the Heavy Sword in its hand was flung out the moment it turned around.

The blade lodged firmly into the Mobius.

The white GINN swiftly maneuvered over, gripped the hilt of the Heavy Sword, and with the force of its high speed, tore the Mobius apart instantly.

By the time the explosion occurred, the white GINN had already repositioned itself to a safe location.

Attitude adjustment thrusters corrected the MS's posture.

Turning around, it charged toward the last remaining Mobius ahead.

Evading the bullets it fired, it closed in and swung its blade down, destroying the Mobius.

After destroying this Mobius, Felix turned his attention to an Agamemnon-class warship. Gazing at the ship, he increased the output of the main thrusters on the GINN's back, and the white GINN sped rapidly toward the warship.

On its charge forward, two Mobius units intercepted its path.

Gripping the Heavy Sword, Felix executed a dual-blade style, swinging the Heavy Sword with both arms simultaneously, destroying both Mobius units at once.

After obliterating them, he maneuvered to evade incoming beam and electromagnetic cannon fire, maintaining his speed as he continued toward the ship's bridge.

The warship's Close-in Weapon System defenses could only fire wildly, like a headless fly, with eighty percent of their attacks proving ineffective.

Amid this ineffective fire, the white GINN, under Felix's control, arrived in front of the Agamemnon-class warship's bridge.

Looking at the bridge ahead, he could see the crew inside through the screen. Without the slightest hesitation, he opened fire with the Heavy Assault Machine Gun.

Two shots were enough to disable the warship's bridge command system.

After destroying it, Felix piloted the white GINN to quickly retreat from the area.

The Sebastian followed up behind Felix, firing its Beam Cannon at the bridge of the Agamemnon-class warship, which had already lost its command system.

Yggdrasil

"Commander, our front lines are critically endangered by the ZAFT Forces, and our losses are severe. Among them, two white MS have demonstrated formidable combat prowess in this battle, inflicting heavy casualties on our forces."

The soldier reported the situation to the Commander.

Hearing the report, the Commander fixed his gaze on the screen before him and asked, "What is our current casualty situation?"

"Based on the current estimated statistics, our losses have exceeded one-third and are continuously rising. If we persist like this, there is a high probability we will be completely annihilated."

The soldier reported the estimated statistics to the Commander.

Hearing such devastating results, the Commander's face darkened with frustration and rage.

Bang!

He slammed his fist hard against the armrest.

After venting his emotions, he issued an order. "Use Signal Flares to command the troops to tighten the defensive line and prepare for a battlefield withdrawal at any moment."

Once the order was given, the Commander asked, "How are the preparations for Yggdrasil's self-destruction proceeding?"

"Everything is arranged. The Yggdrasil self-destruct sequence can be activated once we evacuate. It will self-destruct when the countdown ends."

The soldier turned to report to the Commander.

Nodding, the Commander rose from his chair, straightened his uniform, and issued the order.

"All remaining personnel currently in Yggdrasil are to evacuate immediately."

Having said this, the Commander was the first to leave the area.

The remaining soldiers followed the Commander's lead and began their evacuation.

Soon, the command center was completely empty.

...

A few minutes later, the warship docked with Yggdrasil completed its separation, and a signal flare was launched from the warship's launch tube.
