Shortly after shooting down the Vanguard Fighter, Felix maneuvered the White GINN to evade. With the assistance of its attitude adjustment thrusters, the White GINN executed minimal maneuvers to dodge incoming attacks.
Having dodged the attack, it turned sideways to face the Vanguard Fighter and raised its Heavy Assault Machine Gun. Before Felix could fire, the fighter began evasive maneuvers in the air.
As it moved, Felix predicted its trajectory.
He fired a shot!
The bullet tore through the air at several times the speed of sound.
Bang!
The bullet pierced the tail thruster of the Vanguard Fighter.
The loss of propulsion made it impossible for the fighter to maintain high-speed flight. The pilot struggled to control the aircraft, attempting to descend slowly and land safely.
Before the pilot could make much progress, another GINN fired a follow-up shot, destroying the fighter.
Felix, who had been about to finish it off, saw the intervention and turned the White GINN toward other enemies.
"Captain, energy consumption is 50% higher than in space," Heine reported over the comms.
Felix was well aware of this issue. After all, the GINN was designed as a space-use MS, and its weight meant energy consumption would double on Earth.
"I know. Once we deal with this wave of enemies, we'll have a breather to equip the GU-W Flight Support," Felix replied over the comms.
He then pulled the trigger, and the Heavy Assault Machine Gun roared to life.
With trajectory correction and Felix's predictive aiming, the bullets accurately pierced through the flying Vanguard Fighters.
After destroying one fighter, the White GINN evaded another attack, turned, and fired again.
Another precise shot.
The Vanguard Fighter that had just targeted Felix was blown apart.
With that enemy eliminated, the interception forces at an altitude of 10,000 meters were completely cleared.
At that moment, the drop pods carrying the GU-W Flight Support opened, and the onboard AI systems activated the GU-W units autonomously.
The laser radar equipped on each GU-W scanned the airspace. Combining scan results with program judgments and database information, each GU-W independently moved toward the descending GINN units.
Stepping onto the connection platform on the GU-W's back,
the GINN and GU-W established a link. Inside the cockpit, Felix smiled faintly, thinking to himself,
'Such speed in development and production—only PLANT could achieve this. In my previous life, this would have been unthinkable.'
"Some units will guard the Neutron Jammer. The rest, board the GU-W and descend quickly to eliminate the air forces at Victoria Spaceport!" Felix ordered over the comms.
Following the command, over a hundred GINN units split into two groups. Twenty to thirty formed a defensive perimeter around the Neutron Jammer, while the remaining hundred followed the White GINN in continuing the descent.
As they descended lower, they soon reached an altitude of around 10,000 meters.
Here, the two forces clashed for a second time!
Gunfire erupted instantly!
Piloting the White GINN mounted on the GU-W, Felix deftly evaded the incoming attacks while firing the Heavy Assault Machine Gun.
Two shots were fired—one served as a distraction while the other struck a Vanguard Fighter.
Watching the explosion flare up, Felix maneuvered the White GINN and GU-W swiftly across the battlefield.
Thanks to the GU-W's Vector Nozzles and Attitude Adjustment Thrusters, Felix was able to effortlessly dodge every incoming round.
His fingers pressed a button!
The GU-W launched its Missiles.
Equipped with infrared and thermal tracking, the missiles maneuvered rapidly through the air, homing in on the Vanguard Fighter.
The pilot of the tailed Vanguard Fighter grimaced at the display on his screen, muttering in confusion,
"Why are ZAFT's missiles tracking normally?"
Still baffled, he maneuvered his fighter to evade, releasing decoy flares.
The flares, emitting heat sources, disrupted the missile's tracking capability, causing it to lose its target. One of the assisting Vanguard Fighters shot the missile down.
With the danger averted, the now-safe Vanguard Fighter coordinated with another, soon joined by a third from a different direction.
The three Vanguard Fighters formed up and advanced toward Felix, their onboard Machine Cannons firing at the White GINN.
Felix worked the controls, and the GU-W—carrying the White GINN—dodged each attack. The White GINN raised its arm and returned fire with the Heavy Assault Machine Gun.
The volley broke the three fighters' formation.
A follow-up burst destroyed one of the Vanguard Fighters.
After taking down that fighter, Felix shifted his focus to the remaining two. He raised the Heavy Assault Machine Gun and fired again.
The first shot was evaded by the fighter's agile maneuvering, but the second accurately struck its tail propulsion system.
With its propulsion destroyed, the Vanguard Fighter instantly lost power and began an uncontrolled descent.
Before Felix could finish it off, another GINN shot it down.
Seeing this, Felix naturally turned his attention to other Vanguard Fighters.
"Too many hunters, too little prey!"
Observing the situation on the battlefield, Felix wore a mocking grin as he quipped.
As he spoke, the White GINN fired its Heavy Assault Machine Gun, blasting a distant Vanguard Fighter out of the sky.
While Felix and the others were eliminating the enemy, additional Vanguard Fighters—taking off from other airfields—were rushing at top speed toward the battle above Victoria Spaceport.

Government Office Building
Presidential Office
"Still no contact with Victoria Spaceport?"
The Eurasian Federation President looked up at the government staffer who had just entered, his expression grave as he asked.
The staffer met the President's gaze with a helpless, dejected look, shaking his head as he replied,
"Your Excellency, we still haven't been able to establish contact."
He continued,
"Based on current analysis, it's highly likely that the ZAFT Forces are using the same equipment as in the Yggdrasil Campaign. Through this equipment, they've paralyzed the communication capabilities around Victoria Spaceport, preventing us from establishing radio contact with them, and likewise preventing Victoria Spaceport from establishing radio contact with us."
"Since we can't establish communication, find another way to get in touch with Victoria Spaceport."
The President looked at him and gave the order.
Upon hearing this, the staff member straightened up and replied.
"Yes!"
Looking at him, the President continued asking.
"How is the progress of the support troops?"
"Our aircraft carrier fleets in the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean have already set course for Africa. Meanwhile, troops from other fronts have also begun mobilization."
