Back in William's apartment, a familiar sight could be seen.
William, sat down on the sofa, staring at the open file Infront of him.
There, a complete sheet of information for his next target was laid.
With a defeated sigh, he picked up the file and began scanning it for information.
"Val Legato... Wait."
The name immediately clicked for him, he had heard of this name before.
Quickly, he grabbed his phone and looked it up, and on the screen, there was undeniable proof.
"This... Miss Farah, why?"
Val Legato, The Former Chief of Britain's Conviction Concealment Department.
Like Violet Crayson, Val Legato had calmed down an entire continent after the Night of Dance, the entirety of Europe as well.
She was the only reason not a single city in Europe fell during the anarchy that befell after the Night of Dance.
To this day, Europe is the only continent where the cities that had fallen is in the single digits, the only major city going down was Paris due to a freak accident no one had any explanation to.
There was also Poland but that was generous since the country is at least still standing.
It goes to show how much respect and influence someone like Val Legato garnered, ask most people in Europe and they'll tell you is nothing but praises.
That was who he was supposed to be interviewing today, what is essential a dancer that captivates all who looks at her.
At the very least it should be somewhat easier than the Crayson Siblings, because unlike them, Val is always in the open.
"Alright..."
With yet another sigh that started to become familiar with William, he stood up and picked up his phone.
Since unlike the Crayson Siblings, he didn't know when Miss Legato would be leaving London, William decided to act quickly.
"I'll do this in just on day."
And so, he set out, just to look for Miss Legato.
It should be easy, wherever she went, there would probably someone who recognizes her and creates a post.
William will just have to follow those posts, that also means he'll probably need to actually figure out how to work with different social media apps.
Then a ding came from his phone, signifying that someone had posted about where Miss Legato was.
William immediately ran out of his apartment and went to the location.

With a loud THUD, William was hit into the pavement.
"Agh—"
Above him, there was the person responsible for suddenly attacking him.
A tall woman with white hair and glistening golden eyes, wearing a classic english suit and carrying a cane that was digging deep in his back.
"M-miss Legato I—"
"No, I'll do the talking here."
She responded as she dug her cane deeper into his back, not enough to actually injury him, but just enough to make it hurt.
"Now, tell me, why were you following me?"
This was yet another familiar situation. Him being interrogated by his target.
He remembered clearly how this happened...
He was just following her from behind, thinking of a way to convince her into an interview before she went into an alleyway.
Of course, he followed only to find himself thoroughly humiliated at even thinking he was undetected.
Now with the fear of God, William slowly opened his mouth and spoke, his voice a bit rough thanks to being pushed into the ground.
"I-I'm here for an interview..."
The Englishwoman didn't seem to believe him, a flicker of suspicion appearing on her face.
"Don't you think I've heard that sort of excuse before? Believe me, even in my age, I've dealt plenty of stalkers, and they had much better excuses."
"I'm n-not lying ma'am!"
Panic filled the young man's voice, he didn't struggle yet he arched his back to look at Val, her golden twitching slightly.
Then, a sigh came from her as she let go of him, lifting up her cane and placing it on the ground.
"Alright, I believe you."
William looked at her, confused, clearly not understanding why she did that.
"Your melody told me that you aren't lying."
"My... Melody?"
That answer only made William even more confused, he didn't know what to say.
"Well, you'll probably get your answer to that later. Now, what's your company's name, small fella?"
"O-oh, right! The AC-B—"
Miss Legato's eyes widened slightly as she heard the name. Then a smile creeped up on her face, placing a finger on her own chin.
"That little kitty wants to know more about me? I'm honored."
"Kit..ty?"
William was absolutely appalled that someone would call Miss Farah that. In his eyes, she was more so a tiger than a kitty.
"Well then, why don't you take me to your headquarters? I'm sure Hogaamin has more to say to me than just having me interviewed."
Soon, the smaller boy straightened his posture and realized that she was probably right.
"Yes! Let's go!*
And William marched like a soldier, meanwhile Miss Legato just followed from behind, silently chuckling at the boy's reactions.
'It's too bad I can't have him...'

Once they were infront of the giant building, William could help but feel the gazes of passerbys, mostly aimed at miss Legato.
Just walking here, she got over twenty different individuals who wanted a picture with her, she accepted all of them for some reason, which made this much longer.
Some of them even took pictures with him, mistaking him for Miss Legato's son.
William had never felt so embarrassed in his life... Well, not like he even remembered most of his life.
With a sigh, the door was opened and just silence. There was almost no one there, just a handful of people chatting and working on paperwork.
"Come in, I'll guide you towards Miss Farah's office."
The two went inside, Miss Legato following William as even inside, some gazes fell towards William and Miss Legato.
No one dared to approach though.
"This place is nice, it reminds me of my old days."
Miss Legato said as she walked, her footsteps mimicking the sound of a song William couldn't quite make out.
"Your old days, miss?"
Since they were going to be asking questions anyways, William thought it was good to have a head start.
As they went up some stairs, Miss Legato answered.
"Yeah, I'm sure you know about it. I was once the head of Britain's Conviction Concealment Department."
"What was it like?"
"Eh, too much paperwork. It's why I quit."
Miss Legato's face turned into a slight frown at remembering it.
"Wasn't it because the Conviction Concealment Departments of each government were basically useless now?"
"Well, that's part of it, but I still quit because of the paperwork. It's no fun at all."
"I see..."
Just as they reached Miss Farah's office, Miss Legato stopped William from opening the door.
"Hm?"
He looked at the taller lady confused, wondering why she stopped him.
"Don't come inside, me and your boss will have a chat."
With that, Miss Legato went inside, leaving William just confused.

"You're here."
Hogaamin said while putting away some paperwork, her golden eyes gleaming with the sunshine behind her.
"Come on, kitty, why did you have me come here?"
Val stood in front of Hogaamin's desk, her cane planted firmly on the ground as he leaned on it, her finger tapping on the tip of the cane.
Hogaamin looked up, two sets of golden eyes meeting as she answered the question.
"We found her."
Val looked slightly confused.
"Her?"
With a slight turn, Hogaamin directed Val's attention to the corner, towards a computer with the monitor housing... A girl?

William waited outside, bored.
He pulled out his phone, deciding to look into more of the things he didn't know.
But before he could even do that, the door bursted open, with Miss Legato looking even happier than before.
"Let's go, little one!"
Miss Legato didn't even wait for William before she grabbed the back of his collar and just dragged him towards the interview room.
William didn't struggle.
