Chapter 76 - Chapter 76 Your Wife Is Quite Good

Chapter 76 Your Wife Is Quite Good

Tang Hao had a full set of six soul bones, practically a walking treasure trove. Luo Ling naturally wouldn't let him go.

With the Spirit Hall and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan joining forces, Tang Hao had nowhere to run, neither to heaven nor to earth.

As long as this information reached Bibi Dong, Qian Daoliu—the old fox—would surely know about it as well. When the time came, sending a few worshipers would be enough.

"I understand." Ghost Douluo's eyes flashed with a sharp gleam before he vanished.

Hunting Tang Hao—what a bold and thrilling task indeed. Luo Ling shook his head, said nothing more, and found a small inn in Soto City to rest.

Tomorrow, he planned to leave to find the Blue Silver Emperor. He had no desire to stay in Shrek's dormitory.

The next day, without telling Ning Rongrong and the other two girls, Luo Ling quietly departed.

Taking out a map of the area near Holy Soul Village he had prepared long ago, Luo Ling began moving toward where the Blue Silver Emperor's soul bone might be located.

The original story never detailed the precise location of the Blue Silver Emperor's hiding place—only that it was somewhere inside a mountain range not far from Holy Soul Village.

There was a tall waterfall, and the Blue Silver Emperor's cave lay behind it.

The area wasn't small, so Luo Ling needed to move quickly.

Although Tang Hao had gone to Soto City, who could say he wouldn't suddenly return on a whim?

The original story never described what Tang Hao did when he disappeared.

Three days later, Luo Ling arrived near Holy Soul Village.

Holding the map, he trekked toward the continuous mountain range.

He released a large number of crows to search for possible waterfalls.

Half a day later, as he moved through the forest, Luo Ling's eyes suddenly lit up. Through a crow's vision not far away, he finally saw the waterfall.

It was at least two hundred meters tall and breathtakingly magnificent.

"Finally found it!" Luo Ling's eyes gleamed with excitement.

A hundred-thousand-year soul bone—something one could seek but never easily obtain.

Although one of the two abilities of the Blue Silver Emperor's right leg bone overlapped with his Desire Soul Garment's flight ability, the other was a divine skill.

Without hesitation, Luo Ling rushed toward the waterfall.

Half an hour later, as dusk settled, he finally saw the steep cliff.

Under the moonlight, the white waterfall fell like the Milky Way—utterly enchanting.

This scene could easily qualify as a top-rated scenic spot in his past life.

Ignoring the beauty before him, Luo Ling activated his Desire Soul Garment and flew toward the waterfall.

The roaring water struck the rocks violently, raising mist and obscuring any gaps.

"So well hidden… Who would imagine there's a cave behind this waterfall? Even if someone knew, few could enter." Luo Ling sighed softly.

Still, he couldn't help but doubt Tang Hao's intentions.

Hiding the Blue Silver Emperor's seed behind such a dark, sunless waterfall—did Tang Hao truly wish his wife to be revived?

He had harbored the same doubt even when reading the story before.

If Tang Hao really wanted his wife to revive quickly, wouldn't it be better to choose a place rich in life energy, like where the Blue Silver King resided?

The Blue Silver Emperor would surely recover faster there. Yet Tang Hao chose such a gloomy location.

Moreover, when the Blue Silver Emperor sacrificed herself, she had been pregnant. Instead of hiding, Tang Hao had acted almost as if he wanted to be found.

Luo Ling shook his head. It wasn't his place to judge the past—he had no proof anyway.

Staring at the waterfall, he stopped overthinking and activated Ghost Concealment.

Ghost Concealment made him immune to physical collisions and attacks, allowing him to easily pass through the crashing waterfall.

Gradually, Luo Ling's figure vanished into the falls. Searching carefully, he soon found a mechanism and pressed it.

Perhaps Tang Hao had never expected anyone to come here, as the mechanism on the stone wall was plainly visible.

A grinding sound echoed as stone shifted, and a stone door slowly opened nearby.

Luo Ling slipped inside.

The cave was pitch-black, so he took out a match from his soul tool, lit a dry branch, and entered.

The flickering flame illuminated the dim stone chamber. Seeing the desolate scene before him, Luo Ling shook his head.

He walked deeper into the chamber and found the Blue Silver Emperor buried in the soil.

Its leaves quivered weakly, glowing with faint light.

Fortunately, the Blue Silver Emperor's vitality was strong. Any other plant would have long perished.

"Sigh, since your husband doesn't cherish you, let me take you away."

Luo Ling spoke softly. It wasn't lust driving him—he merely wanted to see if cultivating a new Blue Silver Emperor could yield another chance to strike.

With that, he took out a prepared pot and transplanted the frail Blue Silver Emperor into it.

Then he examined the stone chamber and spotted a box nestled in a recess of the rock wall.

He quickly moved forward and opened it.

Inside was a blue-golden right leg bone, shining like glass.

With just one look, Luo Ling closed the box again.

He couldn't absorb it here. After all, Tang San took three whole days to absorb his. If Tang Hao returned midway, it would be disastrous.

Just as Luo Ling was preparing to leave, footsteps echoed from the entrance of the cave.

His heart skipped a beat.

A moment later, a man entered the chamber.

It was Tang Hao, his face filled with sorrow. He had come to speak to his wife but found the area where he'd planted her in disarray.

Then his gaze fell upon the man in the black cloak standing within the chamber.

The cloak hid the stranger's face, but Tang Hao could clearly see the box in his hands—the one holding his wife's soul bone.

"Who are you?" Tang Hao's expression darkened instantly. The Clear Sky Hammer appeared in his hand, and nine soul rings rose one by one.

"Tang Hao, the Clear Sky Douluo. What a coincidence," the cloaked figure said with a low laugh.

Tang Hao's eyes locked tightly on him. The Blue Silver Emperor's seed was gone—almost certainly taken by this man.

His wife was now in someone else's hands; he dared not act rashly.

"Put down that box. It doesn't belong to you. And my Blue Silver Grass planted here—where is it?" Tang Hao asked through gritted teeth.

"You mean the Blue Silver Emperor's seed?" The shadowy figure chuckled. "Of course, I took it."

"Not only the seed but also this Blue Silver Emperor's soul bone—I'm taking that too."

"How dare you!" Tang Hao finally lost control and swung the Clear Sky Hammer with full force.

Luo Ling stood still. Before Tang Hao entered, he had already completed his Martial Spirit Fusion. The black cloak was the manifestation of his Desire Soul Garment.

After fusion, the Desire Soul Garment granted him one immunity to a fatal attack.

As expected, when the Clear Sky Hammer struck, a faint red shield appeared before Luo Ling. Just as it was about to shatter, and the Desire Soul Garment about to break, Luo Ling's lips curled into a wicked smile beneath his hood.

"Tang Hao, your wife is quite good."

"Since you were so heartless as to imprison your wife in this dark, sunless place, I'll be taking her with me."

The next instant, Ghost Concealment activated, and Luo Ling's figure vanished completely.
