Chapter 37 - Chapter 37: A Pirate Ship Falls from the Sky

Chapter 37: A Pirate Ship Falls from the Sky

The next morning, everyone was still asleep when—Boom! A deafening crash woke the entire island.

The people of Ring Tree Island rushed to the peak. Looking out toward the sea, they saw it—

A massive ship, about 300 meters long, half-lodged on the seabed. Its sails were gone—likely torn away in a storm.

The ship's hull bore multiple cracks, signs of extreme pressure and impact.

Luo Han arrived as well, gazing down at the vessel, deep in thought.

That figure on the bow… it looked like a skull.

A pirate ship, Luo Han concluded.

"Luo Han! Any idea where it came from?" Uncle Kate asked as he arrived.

"No, I just got here too, Uncle Kate," Luo Han replied.

"But I think it fell from the sky—just like what happened with you all years ago. Swept in by a storm."

"Looks that way," Uncle Kate agreed. "Luo Han, let's go check if there are any survivors. Stay alert—it's probably a pirate ship."

"Don't worry, I know," Luo Han nodded.

Using telekinesis, Luo Han carried them both down to the deck.

"No one here, Uncle Kate."

Luo Han scanned the ship with his spiritual sense—there was no one aboard. Only daily necessities… and a brand-new newspaper.

With a thought, the newspaper floated into Luo Han's hand.

"What's that?" Uncle Kate asked.

"An interesting paper," Luo Han said, a slight smile on his face.

"Uncle Kate, I'm going to move the ship onto the island."

"Go ahead," Uncle Kate replied.

Boom! Luo Han placed the pirate ship atop the island's peak.

Curious onlookers gathered quickly.

"Everyone, organize anything we can use. Be careful not to damage the hull!" Uncle Kate instructed.

Luo Han, holding the newspaper, walked to Qingya Cliff.

Staring out over the endless sea, the waters surrounding Ring Tree Island were no longer as red as yesterday.

But the outside world… it was just starting to bleed.

He lifted the newspaper. On its front page was a large, muscular man—wild-eyed, mouth curled in an arrogant smirk, exuding overwhelming dominance.

Even through the paper, Luo Han could feel the man's overwhelming presence.

"Rocks"—that was the pirate's name.

The headline read: The New World.

This man had declared to the entire One Piece world just yesterday that the latter half of the Grand Line would now be known as "The New World."

And he—Rocks—would open this new era and conquer it, until he became its king.

The King of the New World.

His proclamation struck the world like a comet crashing into Earth.

With the World News Network deliberately spreading it, the declaration went viral, spreading across the globe by this morning.

Luo Han looked up at the sky, a rush of energy rising in his chest.

A powerful aura surged from his body—spreading instantly across the entire island.

Bang! Bang! One by one, islanders collapsed, eyes rolling back, unable to stay standing.

Panic rippled across the island.

"It's alright! They're just unconscious—it'll pass! Don't panic!" Uncle Kate shouted, reassuring everyone.

Uncle Witt had just arrived. He exchanged a look with Uncle Kate, and both turned toward Qingya Cliff—

Then burst into laughter together.

Luo Han stood there, feeling the overwhelming aura of Conqueror's Haki pouring from within.

Am I… really someone with that kind of spirit? Luo Han wasn't sure.

But after reading that man's declaration, anyone with even a speck of ambition would feel stirred to the core.

The world outside… must already be in chaos, Luo Han thought.

...

Indeed, it wasn't just chaos—it was a full-blown upheaval.

Just like Roger's words once launched the Great Pirate Era—

Now, Rocks' vision of a pirate-dominated New World ignited the dreams of countless pirates across the seas.

It was like salted fish had finally found a purpose.

Under the banner of "dreams," pirate ships set sail for the New World one after another.

The world, as it was, began to boil.

At Mary Geoise, the center of the World Government, within the office of the Five Elders:

"D, huh…" said the bald elder with a long sword.

He sat down, holding a file bearing the name Rocks D. Xebec, his expression grave.

"What a troublesome clan," muttered the mustached elder.

"Trying to rule the second half of the Grand Line? How absurd."

"Ha! Even the World Government can't completely control it—what chance does a pirate have?" said the blond elder, chuckling.

"Still… we can't take this lightly. He is one of the D. clan.

Have CP0 keep a close eye on him."

The long-bearded elder stood as he spoke.

...

Meanwhile, on the Roger Pirates' ship in the first half of the Grand Line—

"Hey, hey, Roger! Looks like you're not the only one trying to shake up the world!" Rayleigh laughed, holding the same newspaper.

"Yah! Hahaha!" Roger burst into laughter.

"Isn't this fun, Rayleigh? Let's set sail! Boys—our new destination is the New World!"

"Aye!!" the crew roared in unison.

...

Back on Ring Tree Island—

Luo Han felt the same surge of restlessness. He longed to set sail, to meet the legends of the sea.

But when he looked at himself… he still wasn't strong enough.

For the next four years, there would be only one goal: mastering Haki.

His body already contained the talent of the super-giant Sea Kings—no worries there.

If he could master Haki too, Luo Han would be unstoppable.

"Luo Han! That burst of Conqueror's Haki… that was you, wasn't it?" Uncle Kate asked, arriving at the cliff with Uncle Witt.

"Yeah, Uncle Kate," Luo Han replied with a smile.

"Take a look at this," he said, tossing the newspaper toward them.

"This is… exhilarating!" Uncle Witt said, clearly excited, as if he were ready to sail the seas again.

"Haha! Shame we've passed that stage. It's your turn now," Uncle Kate laughed.

"Give me four years. I'm still not strong enough. I want to learn Haki, Uncle Kate."

"No problem. We were planning to teach you anyway," Uncle Kate replied.

Later, Luo Han returned home to cook.

No matter how grand one's dreams—life still had to go on.

After dinner, he went up to the plaza on the ninth level, where the Scaled Fruit was being distributed.

Due to the Sea King attack, the fruit was only harvested today.

The process was the same—form a line to receive the fruit. But now there were fewer elders and more children.

Luo Han ate his Scaled Fruit. Under spiritual guidance, he could feel his physique rapidly evolving again.

Even with the body of a super-giant Sea King, the transformation was still staggering.

No wonder the Sea Kings went insane trying to get to the Divine Tree.

This fruit was ridiculously powerful.

After the initial transformation, Luo Han went down to the first level to eat Rainbow Fish and continue training.
