Austin's POV
Sunday morning arrived with clear skies and ambitious plans. I decided to leave Lara behind to work with my father on training the warriors from our original territory, while I escorted our friends to explore the newly acquired section of our pack lands.
During the drive across our divided territory, Bill made an observation that had been weighing on my mind. "This literal separation between your pack lands is going to become a serious problem if you don't address it soon."
"I know. The only solution I can envision is constructing a central packhouse that serves both areas, but that's impossible until Lara stabilizes our financial situation," I replied, gripping the steering wheel tighter.
Malachi leaned forward from the back seat. "Looks like you two are signing up for a year of intensive labor."
"At least we won't be tackling it alone," Faith chimed in reassuringly.
"Thank the Moon Goddess for that blessing," I said with genuine gratitude.
