The ground shook with Alpha power.
Darius's roar reverberated through the arena, making every wolf present bare their necks instinctively. The sheer force of his dominance was overwhelming, pressing down on everyone like a physical weight.
He lunged at Gideon, claws extended, fully prepared to rip him apart.
But he never made contact.
Caleb appeared out of nowhere, slamming into Darius from the side. The impact sent both of them sprawling into the sand. Two other Betas rushed in immediately, grabbing Darius's arms, trying to hold him back.
"Stand down!" Caleb shouted, struggling to keep his grip. "Darius, stand down!"
But Darius was too far gone. His wolf had taken over, and the only thing it understood was that someone had challenged his claim. Someone had tried to take what was his.
He threw one of the Betas off easily, sending the guy tumbling across the sand. His claws raked across another's arm, leaving bloody streaks.
