"Alphas are such disgusting pieces of shit!" Soren said loudly, his voice echoing through the living room as he slammed his glass down on the table hard enough to make the bottles rattle.
"Yes!" we all replied.
Well… almost all of us.
Phoenix and I exchanged a quick look before joining in. Phoenix's lips were already twitching like he was trying very hard not to laugh, and honestly, I couldn't blame him. The entire situation was ridiculous.
"So full of shit," Soren continued, waving his drink around as if he were giving a speech to an invisible audience. "They think they are important."
"You give them a little chance," Jamie added, leaning forward dramatically and pointing an accusing finger into the air, "and now all of a sudden they are the kings of the world."
"So fucking full of shit," Soren said again before turning toward me with narrowed eyes. "Right, Holland?"
"Yes," I replied, nodding my head slowly.
The moment I agreed, Phoenix lost it.
