Ashelia hesitated for a moment before answering. "Because I feel guilty," she confessed honestly. "It's my fault that your arm is in the state it is, so it is only right that I be the one to take care of it."
Azrael studied her, he couldn't tell if she was being serious. How could she, when she looked so frail he was almost sure she would faint at the sight of his injury.
But considering what she had endured twice he had run into her, it was unlikely she would be that weak.
Still, that wasn't what he was really bothered about, it definitely wasn't that. In fact he loved the idea because it would be a chance to truly bond with her. But her hand on his bare skin, especially in his current... unclothed state.
"You shouldn't worry yourself, my lady," he assured her. "I am capable of doing the basic cleaning on my own."
"I insist," Ashelia pressed, making Azrael waver slightly but he stood his ground.
