In the palace, near the city center...
Nott was quietly following the intruder, maintaining a suitable distance so as not to be discovered.
But Nott did not initially know the identity of that intruder, as it was difficult to determine who they were because they were disguised.
As for the intruder himself...
It was none other than the spirit sent by elves to spy.
The spirit had initially planned to create chaos in the city, and exploit it to easily reach what it wanted.
But when it tried to do so, it discovered that the chaos had already occurred.
And because of this...
It saw that the opportunity had become better than it expected.
It entered the palace secretly, smiling confidently, and said to itself:
"That was easy... I didn't even have to do anything."
The spirit began to search the palace quietly.
It moved with extreme lightness, going from one place to another almost without making a sound. It also carefully hid its presence, its breath, and its aura, so as not to alert the senses of the guards or the masters present in the place.
Everyone was preoccupied with protecting the seed...
Which is why no one noticed its presence.
But the spirit did not know one thing.
Nott was watching it from afar.
He was moving in the shadows, following every step it took without revealing himself.
And he saw in it an excellent opportunity.
Nott looked at it calmly, then said to himself:
"Just as I expected..."
"It has become an excellent scapegoat."
He continued to watch it, waiting for it to lead him to the place where the seed was located.
At the same time...
The spirit continued searching inside the palace.
It passed through the corridors, casting quick glances into the rooms, trying to spot anything unusual.
But when it was about to search one of the rooms...
It stopped suddenly.
Its eyes widened in shock.
It raised its head and looked at a specific place inside the palace.
Then it said to itself:
"How can this be?!"
"Why is there an aura from our Sacred Tree here?!"
The shock was evident on it.
It did not expect to feel this aura in this specific place.
It began watching one of the corridors with intense focus, and in the next moment...
One of the elder dark elves appeared, rushing quickly through the corridor.
He was carrying something in his hands.
Something emitting the same aura it had been feeling.
The aura it knew very well.
The aura that resembled the aura of the elves' Sacred Tree.
The spirit's expression changed instantly.
Anger ignited in its eyes.
"No..."
"This is impossible!"
It did not think much.
It rushed after the person quickly, but made sure not to attract the attention of the guards or the masters who were following him and protecting the seed.
It knew that they were protecting that thing he was carrying no matter the cost.
As for Nott...
He was still following it from afar.
He noticed that the spirit had changed its direction suddenly, and that it had become interested in the person who was rushing away now.
He smiled calmly; it seemed the intruder had discovered something.
The path had become easier for him.
The spirit was getting closer and closer to the truth.
It continued to pursue the person without revealing itself, then tried to verify the thing he was carrying.
And after a few moments...
It finally managed to confirm it.
It stared at the thing the person was carrying.
And the moment it realized its truth...
It was deeply shocked.
It never expected to find something like this inside the dark elves' palace.
It stopped for a moment, as if its mind was trying to comprehend what it had seen.
But it did not think for long.
It made its decision quickly.
After knowing what that person was carrying...
It knew exactly what it was going to do.
