The person whom the Saint ordered to fetch the seed set off; at the same time, he was to inform the Black Stag to make his move and eliminate the chaos sweeping through the city.
And indeed...
Just a few seconds later, that person appeared inside a hall engulfed in darkness. It was terrifyingly guarded, with guards and masters scattered everywhere, watching the hall carefully as if waiting for any danger to appear.
But the person paid no attention to this.
He did not stop.
And he showed no signs of tension.
Instead, he walked calmly and steadily toward the center of the hall, then raised his eyes and looked directly at the Black Stag.
Afterward, he bowed slightly in respect and said:
"O Black Stag, the Saint has ordered me to take the seed to the ritual site, and to inform you to take charge of the chaos occurring in the city."
The Black Stag remained silent for a few moments.
Then, he slowly opened his eyes.
His gaze was sharp, as if it were piercing through the person standing before him, trying to verify every word he said.
He stared at him intently...
Then, after confirming the truth of his words, he calmly brought out the seed.
The seed carried that strange feeling which made everyone handle it with extreme caution.
The Black Stag handed the seed to the person before him, then said:
"Take good care of it."
He paused for a moment, then added:
"And tell the Saint to hurry with those rituals. There is something strange happening here that I do not like."
Silence prevailed for a moment.
Then the Black Stag continued in a more serious tone:
"But I do not know what it is."
As soon as he finished speaking, he vanished from his spot in an instant.
Before anyone could even comprehend what had happened, the Black Stag appeared in the center of the city.
And there...
He began to forcefully release his aura, spreading his presence throughout the area, attempting to detect every infiltrator within the city.
His aura swept across the different areas, as if searching for any strange trace or presence that did not belong to the city.
But as soon as the Black Stag appeared in the city...
Aul, Nott, and Yord realized that they had indeed succeeded in drawing the strongest person out of the castle.
This was exactly what they had been waiting for.
One of the most powerful beings in the castle was now far away from it.
As soon as Nott sensed this, he instantly vanished from his spot.
His body transformed into a stealthy shadow, then he moved silently and entered the castle, taking advantage of the opportunity Aul had created for him.
At the same time, Aul, who had been causing chaos in the city, had also quickly disappeared.
There was no longer any clear trace of him.
He quietly hid somewhere, waiting for Nott to finish his mission.
As for Yord...
She was still stationed beneath the city wall, observing what was happening and preparing to intervene if necessary.
And so...
The trio's plan began to unfold exactly as they had intended.
Nott entered the castle quietly, moving through the shadows without drawing the guards' attention.
But as he advanced, he noticed something he had not expected.
Another person had infiltrated the castle at the exact same time.
Nott paused for a moment, and a faint smile appeared on his face.
He looked at that infiltrator from afar, then said to himself sarcastically:
"Hmm... excellent."
Then his smile widened slightly and he added:
"I have a scapegoat testing the path to the seed."
He let out a faint laugh:
"Hahaha..."
The presence of that infiltrator was very useful to Nott.
If the guards moved to chase him or discovered him, there would certainly be chaos, and that would be the best opportunity for Nott to advance further toward the location of the seed, without having to expose himself.
And so...
While chaos swept through the city, the Black Stag searched for the infiltrators, and the Saint prepared for the rituals...
Nott was moving silently inside the castle behind the infiltrator.
