"Are you one of those charlatans who try to scam innocent women and run away with money?" Naaza narrowed her eyes, suspicion reaching its zenith.
"Oi oi… did I ask for any money? Why did you suddenly think of that?" Orion complained.
"Then it's free…" Naaza's suspicion didn't decrease at all, in fact it multiplied.
"Of course not… If I'm healing your arm then I need appropriate rewards," Orion said with a huff.
Hearing this, Naaza almost looked like she was ready to throw him out. However, he continued before that.
"But… but only if my solution works. If it doesn't, then you owe me nothing," he clarified, finally making the dangerous glint in her eyes cool down.
His idea was simple. While he didn't know whether his flask could restore lost limbs or whether it even worked on others, if it did then he could get a really good deal out of this.
Plus, he would have a good way to earn money in the future. This was a place full of adventurers after all.
Many who were fortunate enough to not lose their life in a dangerous encounter in the dungeon could no longer continue being an adventurer because of serious injuries or loss of limbs.
If he could solve that issue, money would follow.
He could try it on himself, but cutting one of his limbs—even though it would get healed after resting at a Site of Grace—didn't sound appealing to him.
Not to mention, that way he wouldn't know whether his flasks worked on others.
"And why should I believe you?" Naaza asked, suspicion dripping off her voice.
"You don't have to believe me… all that matters is whether you wish to heal your arm or not. You don't have to give an answer right now either. I don't have time today anyways. I'll return and then you can tell me your answer," Orion shrugged, letting the matter drop there.
It wasn't like Naaza was the only cripple in the entire Orario. But if helping her meant he got a good discount every time he wanted a potion, then let the girl be the first one to get healed…
After thinking about the matter for a while, Naaza finally nodded. "I'll think about it." That was all she said, though even in her tone it felt that she didn't believe him.
He didn't mind. Handing over the valis he owed her, he just took his exit silently. He planned to visit her after coming back from the Legacy Dungeon.
He had gotten himself only three potions; however, it cost almost 4000 valis. Orion sighed harder seeing how expensive this place was.
Two mind potions and one healing potion. With his two flask charges set on healing, he could heal three times and refill his magic two times.
The starting gear he got in his inventory was miles better than anything a new adventurer could afford. In this case he was lucky, and thus he didn't have to waste money on that.
The only thing left was to talk with Eina.
Even on weekends, the Guild had many activities. There were adventurers who even worked on weekends.
"Orion, what are you doing here today? I told you to take a rest day off, didn't I?" Eina, in her usual motherly tone, asked him. Folding her hands under her breast in a way that screamed she was going to get the answer out of him no matter what.
"Ah yes, I remember, Miss Eina. I came to tell you I might not come for the next few days. I'm not sure yet, but I might have to leave the city for a few days on business regarding my goddess. Just told you so you won't worry," he said with a smile.
He wasn't sure how long he had to stay inside that Legacy Dungeon. He already told Hestia, but Eina would have worried if he didn't come back on time. Orion recalled that in the show she tried asking help from other adventurers for Bell when he didn't come back from the dungeon.
"Oh… I see. Then be safe out there. Make sure you don't overwork yourself. Recently you have been going to the dungeon every day. You're the earliest adventurer who visits the Guild Hall and generally you stay there late. Take care of yourself, Orion…" Eina said with a worried look.
Orion had no idea how to explain to her that resting at the Site of Grace completely reset all of his negative status. Even sleeping was not necessary if he used that. He wasn't tired at all. Still, since the girl was worried about him, he nodded at all of her sentences until he was ready to take his leave.
"By the way, Miss Eina. I never got to thank you for treating me to breakfast the first day I met you. I didn't have much money on me back then. So… if you don't mind, would you let me treat you once I come back…" Orion was a bit conscious when asking this. He genuinely asked with the intention of returning the kindness she showed him back then.
But a guy asking a girl out, people call it a date, right? He didn't wish Eina to mistake this as him hitting on her or something.
Eina blinked, then her cheeks flushed just a tad bit before she finally nodded.
"Okay, it's a promise then. You must take me somewhere nice after you come back, okay? Don't forget it." Eina put both of her hands behind her, slightly putting her chest out and leaning towards him while saying it with a cute expression.
"Sure."
Older Orion might have flustered a bit at her acting cute like this to him. However, after spending an ungodly amount of time being pressed by those two goddesses, he had kind of developed an immunity of sorts for this. He could keep both his eyes and thoughts straight without flustering.
Progress…
Bidding Eina bye, it was finally time to hit the dungeon.
[So… you find coin and concern for an elf, yet leave your own goddess wanting. Truly, my Tarnished, your priorities are a marvel.]
Came a snarking remark from his side. Floating just beside him was Marika, hands crossed under her well-endowed breasts, glaring at him like she had eaten something bitter.
"Why, you jealous?" Orion smirked.
[Jealous? Me? Do not be foolish. Why would a goddess such as I ever lower herself to envy the fleeting attentions of a mortal elf.]
She huffed, expecting him to get fluster or try to coax her, but he instead tease her back.
"Sureeeee…" Orion smiled back. However, after walking a bit more, he said,
"If you don't mind then let's go on a dinner date after this. Just us. What do you say?" He asked, just putting the words out there.
Marika didn't say anything for a while. While the small smirk on her face said everything, this was exactly what she wished to hear.
[I will consider it.]
Unlike most days where he had started to grind for monsters, today he skipped all the floors and directly teleported to the grace closest to the Legacy Dungeon.

"Well… guess it's time then…" Orion smirked. However, before that he wished for his status to be updated. He hadn't done it until now, and it turned out that if he didn't do it, then the improvement wouldn't be added to his power. Only after the update would he get stronger.
It's much like the game. Even after having runes, it doesn't mean you're stronger. You must put those runes into stats to see the difference.
And thus, Marika updated his stats.

Watching his newly updated status, Orion's eyes lit up. Now this was what he was talking about. The half week of hard work he put into his level really paid off. At this rate, he might be able to level up by the next few days.
Awesome…
Not to mention another incantation he learned from Marika during this time. Heal was a very basic incantation, doing exactly what it said. However, there was a good thing about this incantation.
Magic in this world regenerated over time; it was essentially mental energy. Heal, just like any spell or incantation, needed magic. Meaning if he had enough time, he could cast it an infinite amount of times. Well, not infinite since the mind also needed rest. However, it was still awesome.
If it was just a minor wound, no need to waste his flask charges. Just use that incantation.
"Alright then… time to enter and do this…" Orion let out a huge breath like he was ready to take on an entire country at this point. With a quick glance over at Marika, who too was ready beside him, he entered the illusory door which opened for him, accepting the Legacy Dungeon's notification.
