[1st POV]
This is bullshit!!
Was all I could think before a train that appeared out of thin air and used nothing as a rail slammed into my chest, caving my ribs and pushing me to fall on my back.
*BOOOOOOM!!!!*
My current form was a titan, and I had used it to break through the tunnel, which they had already made their domain. But perhaps it was not the best idea. Not only did I make myself a huge target but I also killed many people in the process.
I heard their cries and their screams even amid the chaos. They were not the loudest sound but weighed heaviest in my mind.
I always said I did not care enough, but that did not mean I did not care at all. I cared, at least much as someone would care for animals.
After I fell on my back on the giant highway, a massive landslide followed. It somehow crashed into me perfectly, washing me down the slopes of the mountain like solid was water.
I felt my bones snapping, my skin scraping off, and each tumble I had was devastating. It was as if every little accident was specifically designed by god to kill me.
I crashed to a stop when I was at the valley. It was a vast empty space between the mountains. By that point, dirt and debris had completely buried me. I allowed my titan form to disintegrate.
That created empty space in the burial, and I was able to dig my way out from the landslide.
"Can anyone hear me!!! Is anyone alive??" I yelled after I climbed out of the massive landslide.
My devil ears listened for sound, but I heard nothing. There was only a suffocating silence in the whole valley. It would seem that none survived.
I was completely naked and in my human form. My body was smeared with dirt and I looked around, seeing nothing but massive destruction and a mountain that seemed to be sliced off by the landslide.
I sighed, my shoulder slumping, "Sorry, my bad,"
So much for saving lives.
In that moment, my ears bled as the loud sound of sirens began playing. It was loud enough to make you forget what silence felt like.
I looked up, gritting my teeth and pushing at my ears. There, floating in the sky, was the Accident Devil. It was a huge devil, no longer humanoid in any form. It looked like the culmination of disasters. I saw dirt, pieces of flesh, fire, broken cars, broken trains, broken glass and everything you could imagine in any field of accident.
It was the size of a school bus but looked very very compact. It had a siren head where the loud sound was coming from.
The siren continued whining in a tone that stabbed at my instincts to run. The frequency would make anyone jump in panic.
The aura of despair that came from the devil was palpable. It was strong, so strong that it was hard to even think about escaping from it.
Accident seemed inevitable.
I guess it made sense, the concept of accident skirted a whole lot of disaster. From accidents like car crashes, train crashes and even accidentally falling on the ground. There were choices that could turn into an accident, accidentally killing someone, accidentally making a mistake in a situation, heck, getting pregnant accidentally might be included.
It was a concept that gained fear from many different aspects of human life. Kind of like the Death Devil if it existed. You fear guns, you fear knives, you fear violence, but all those fears came from your fear of death.
"Will you stop!!!!" I screamed but I could not even hear my own voice amid the blaring sirens.
And then the devil began making its next move. The Accident Devil separated a portion of its body. That blob of flesh, cars, dirt and everything in between slowly changed form. It expanded rapidly, growing massively bigger than the original body before it took the shape of an aeroplane that folded over me like a black mountain.
It was going to be an aeroplane crash.
"God damn it."
The sirens increased in volume somehow, now it was loud enough to shake the literal atmosphere. And only a second later, the aeroplane began to dive towards me like it was 9/11.
The aeroplane caught on fire in its descent.
The aeroplane itself was so big that it could fill the entire valley with its wingspan. And with the flames licking metal, it looked like the whole sky was falling down on me.
The sirens blared, the aeroplane got bigger and closer, casting a deep yellow shadow over me. For a moment, everything felt so surreal. Everything seemed fictional.
...
(You're gonna die here)
(We will finally be free)
(You have no choice, pitiful creature)
...
The devils inside of me talked, their voice clear somehow in times when I could barely hear my own thoughts. Usually, I never even allowed them to talk to me, but I guess I did not suppress them in this dire moment.
Well, I could only thank them because that reminded me that I could use their abilities.
My transformation was instant. I became green, almost sick and disgusting in appearance. Small trees and vines grew all over my body, and I plunged my hands into the mound of dirt and called forth a forest from the dead.
The Forest Devil's power came into effect, releasing a greenish glow. The nutrients in the soil were absorbed, the dead bodies buried by the dirt too were completely absorbed and stripped of their nutrients.
Roots the size of a man punched through the ground before two massive trees emerged. It looked like they were shot out, their growth was so fast it made the air scream.
They expanded, spreading their branches to cover me. The roof of the trees were thick with leaves, so when the plane came down, it was caught by the trees without making the massive impact it was supposed to.
"....." The Accident Devil watched everything happen, the sirens decreasing in volume.
After they caught the demonic looking plane, the trees moved as if they had life and began pulling the plane inside. The trees grew, changing their shape once more. The leaves became blood, turning into liquid. They were absorbed back into the twisted branches that were turning into veins before those veins got swallowed by the bark of the trees that became muscles.
The trees had a drastic change, turning into a huge pig's maw. The open mouth had teeth, so many teeth that the inside of the mouth was nearly fully white. Then the jaw ate the plane and everything disintegrated.
These uses of my powers came to me instinctively. It was like how you know what your arm could do and what it could not do even before you try it. It was not completely truth but it was a great guide on how to use my powers.
When the cover of the trees finally revealed me again, I had a huge belly that was bigger than the rest of my body. It looked comical, like Upchuk from Ben 10. My body was the size of a car but my belly alone was the size of a van.
I gagged.
"You're disgusting," I said, nearly vomiting. Then my belly slowly contracted, digesting the part of the devil in just a few seconds.
I stuck out my tongue after I was done. It was truly a horrible thing to eat. Hopefully, his original body did not taste as bad.
My body went through a transformation again. My arms became blades and I got thinner while still retaining my pig characteristics. I swung my blade at my own body, cutting the small trees and the vines growing from my skin.
It was the power of the Scalpel Devil.
I paused, listening to the screams and complaints of all the devils inside my body.
Then I silenced them entirely. It was time to lock the fuck in if I wanted to win this battle.
...
"Never speak again Sex Devil, we are not raping the Accident Devil," I said. Now I could hear my own voice as the whining sirens lost volume.
I stomped on the dirt, making the loose soil become a little more compact. Then I launched myself up into the sky in a burst of immense shockwaves.
I was like a missile shooting for the Accident Devil in the sky.
My body, thin now, cut through the air like a blade. I brought my blade arms together in an X, flying towards the Accident Devil.
But of course, the enemy was not going to stand still as I approached.
Its next course of action was completely unexpected.
The Accident Devil began spinning. It started slow and then became stupidly fast. It was spinning fast enough to churn the air into a hurricane.
And then...
BOOOOOM!!!!!
The devil split its body into tiny million pieces. Those splintered parts continued their revolution, finally turning the still air into a sort of tornado, like how the Hurricane Devil would do.
The whole world bled as those pieces began growing into their own abomination and forms of accidents they represent. The first thing I saw was the train. A long winding train that flew like a snake around me.
Then it made a sudden turn and headed towards me.
I was still in mid air but my ascent and descent had stopped. I was able to float in the air like I was in space or something. It was not my doing.
The lights on the train lit up, its horn honking loudly and drowning out the whine of the sirens for a moment. It drove in mid air and sped towards me.
I did not think too much of it, already experiencing this attack.
I was ready.
At least I thought I was.
But then the train suddenly did not move like a train anymore. It moved like a whip. Its long metal body cracked through the air and every carriage behind it snapped in a wave of destruction towards me.
I tucked myself and spun, letting the sharpness of my scalpel cut the wind so the train barely missed me by a hair. The air vibrated from the closeness. If it hit me, I would have splattered like a bug on a windshield.
Holy fucking shit, what the hell was that?
"That's not fair!!" I screamed.
The world finally closed up. I could not see the scenery or the sky anymore as I was trapped in the space between the pieces of the Accident Devil.
And that was when the battle finally started.
More pieces came.
Car hoods. Engine blocks. Motorcycles. A whole traffic jam worth of metal was spinning in the hurricane, gaining speed and weight with each rotation. Even glass shards were catching momentum, fast enough to cut sound itself.
I began bleeding all over. The shards of glass were quick and transparent, not to mention they were millions, so it was impossible to dodge them. The area around me was starting to bleed red. I was surrounded by my own spray of blood.
One of the motorcycles flew straight at my head.
I swung, the blade I had instead of an arm sliced the bike in half. The bisected parts flew past me and crashed into something else before they simply rejoined the hurricane.
Fuck.
I am pretty sure now that I could not win this.
The motorcycle seemed to be the start of chaos because every object imaginable began flying towards me. Car tyres, boulders, a broken truck, a whole fridge and everything in between.
I cried out and began spinning around to dodge those projectiles.
I kept cutting and dodging, my body moving on instinct. But the objects thrown at me were never ending, and if they missed me, they simply rejoined the hurricane to launch at me another time.
At this point, everyone probably thought it could not get worse.
Tell everyone they are wrong.
While I was in the middle of dodging those dangerous projectiles, a giant boulder appeared out of thin air. Literally thin air. One time it was not there, and in an instant it spawned on my face.
It was like a domain with a sure hit effect.
And the attacks from then on began appearing from thin air. They were no longer projectiles. I guess whatever the Accident Devil did, I had given it enough time to set everything perfectly.
A tyre that slammed into my blade, making my elbow pop out from the sheer force. A broken tower slammed into me, the steel breaking my ribs. A tin roof flew at me like a frisbee, slicing off the top of my head and exposing my brain. Electrical wires wrapped around my left foot, sending high jolts of electricity throughout my own body before it flung me across the air.
"AHHHHH!!!"
I screamed when I crashed into a tractor. It was one of those tractors used in fields to till and grind soil. There were these spinning blades at the front and it caught my leg, but my smashed bone was able to stop the rotation of the blade.
I swung my blade to cut myself free and then swung to the side, just in time to slice the car that suddenly appeared on my right. The car was sliced vertically in half and I was unharmed.
But then a traffic cone hit me on the back of my head. The pointy side plunged into the back of my skull, making my eyes roll white. A saw blade flew to my side, cutting my arm off from the shoulder and even slicing off my ear. A nail gun appeared at my side and shot nails at my thighs.
My body healed, but it was destroyed faster than it could heal. I flipped in the air, thinking that if I moved constantly, I would dodge some things. But when I kicked my legs, an office table appeared, and I broke my pinkie toe at its corner.
Out of all the injuries, that shit hurt more than most.
I tucked myself into a ball and spun, letting the projectiles that hit me send me away without resisting. I bounced off everywhere like a rubber ball. In the meantime, I focused on increasing my durability.
My skin was replaced by a thicker hide, my fur grew long and they were like steel. I threw away offense for the moment and focused entirely on defence.
The Accident Devil seemed to realise what I was trying to do so it stopped for a second.
And then a grand piano appeared on top of me, already in falling motion. I was pushed down to the earth and I crashed on the ground. The piano was shattering on top of me.
"Give me a fucking break!!" I screamed while sitting up on the ground.
What was Accident?
It was chaos which explained this hurricane domain. It was also events that could not be controlled, predicted or foreseen which explained how things were appearing out of thin air and could not be avoided.
Accident, at its concept, was unseen and unavoidable.
I quickly scanned my surroundings. The whole place looked like the inside of a hurricane now. There were grey clouds blocking me off from the outside world and many objects were inside the hurricane instead of just wind.
Then suddenly, the whole world went dark.
An immediate silence that confused my brain.
Thunder roared, lightning struck.
When light returned again, I saw something big looming over me.
"You gotta be kidding me."
BWOOOOOOO
The ship horn blared.
There was an upside down cargo ship that was sailing down towards me. It was big enough to cover the whole sky and the whole domain.
When it slammed into the earth, it shattered and exploded in incredible force.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
