After breaking the tendons and hamstrings of the last woman in a suit, Carina released the Three Heads and Six Arms state and spat Nami and Kuina back out.
El nodded, smiling faintly."How did it feel using Three Heads and Six Arms for the first time?"
"Feels great!"
"Yeah, once we enter that state, the advantage is just ridiculous."
"Especially lately. We've all been training hard, but Carina's physique has already pulled ahead of ours. When we combine, the difference becomes even more obvious."
"At this rate, in another year—maybe even just half a year—Carina's body will surpass ours by more than one or two levels."
The three girls spoke one after another, each sharing her thoughts.
From their expressions, any trace of resistance toward the Three Heads and Six Arms state was completely gone.
Especially Nami and Kuina.
Even with more than a dozen bottles of Nutritional Supplement, their physiques—though far stronger than last year—still couldn't compare to Carina's.
Every day, Carina ate several more sea beasts than they did.And every day, that gap widened.
When such a clear difference existed, combining with Carina and sharing her physique was naturally welcome.

"No," El shook his head calmly."Their memories aren't nearly as valuable as the man I fought."
He walked over, grabbed the two women by their collars, and knocked them unconscious one by one with precise chops to the neck.
Then El turned back.
"Carina, go get the fruit bag from the camel."
After she returned, El looked at her with a meaningful smile.
"Now it's time to verify my hypothesis."
"If this experiment succeeds," he said slowly,"then the Baku Baku no Mi will become the most terrifying Paramecia Devil Fruit in history."
"…Okay."
Carina ran over with curiosity written all over her face and handed him the bag.
El took out a fruit, pointed at one of the unconscious women on the ground, and said calmly:
"Carina—eat her."
"…Okay."
Carina didn't ask why.
She immediately activated her ability, opened her mouth, and swallowed the woman whole, sending her into Baku Baku Space.
"Nii-san," Carina asked after that,"what do you want to do next?"
Carina's Baku Baku no Mi had two distinct states.
In her normal state—without activating the fruit—food still tasted the same, hot and cold were clearly felt, and everything passed through her stomach like a normal person.
But once the Devil Fruit ability was activated—
Anything she ate became delicious.
Rocks, steel, even magma—everything could be swallowed as easily as marshmallows, stored safely inside Baku Baku Space before digestion.
At that point, Carina no longer regarded her mouth as part of her body—
But as a weapon.
It had to be said: Carina's mental resilience was terrifying.
With a simple shift in perspective, she could eat a sand- and blood-covered enemy without even frowning.
Nami couldn't do it.Kuina couldn't do it.Even El himself wasn't sure he could.
Among the four of them, only Carina was truly suited to be the user of the Baku Baku no Mi.
"Can you sense her Devil Fruit—and control it?" El asked.
"Yes," Carina nodded."Anyone inside Baku Baku Space—unless they can break out of it—is completely under my control."
"Good."
El handed her the fruit he had taken out earlier.
"Now eat this fruit," he said."And see if you can extract her Devil Fruit ability from her body… and transfer it into this fruit."
Yes.
El's conjecture was simple—and terrifying.
Devil Fruit seizure.
The transformation and absorption nature of the Baku Baku no Mi might allow it to function similarly to the Yami Yami no Mi.
A rule-breaking ability.
While it had limits—such as being unable to permanently retain other Devil Fruit powers—it might still allow temporary use of two… or even three Devil Fruits at once.
The Yami Yami no Mi required special conditions—perhaps related to body structure or even the soul itself—to permanently steal abilities.
But once those conditions were met, it could seize an enemy's Devil Fruit and even force it to reincarnate into a nearby fruit.
That was clearly what Blackbeard had done at Marineford.
When he stole Whitebeard's Devil Fruit, there was no visible fruit involved—only a black cloth.
He used the Yami Yami no Mi's gravity to pull the Devil itself from Whitebeard's corpse, seal it within his darkness, and then transfer it—either to himself or into a prepared fruit—preventing it from randomly respawning somewhere in the world.
If the Yami Yami no Mi could do that—
Then the Baku Baku no Mi, with its own internal space and absolute control, might be able to achieve something similar.
With that thought in mind—
El decided to test it.
If he succeeded in seizing Devil Fruits…
Then obtaining any Devil Fruit he wanted would become certain.
And the future of their crew—
Would be truly unmatched.
