Screen 1 — Two Worlds, Two Timelines
John and Trunks walk side by side. The city noise fades behind them.
"You said you're from another world," Trunks says. "What year was it for you?"
John thinks for a moment. "Earth. Year 2005."
Trunks nods. "Then yeah… different timeline."
John glances at him. "You?"
"Same world," Trunks replies. "Different time."
They exchange a look. Not surprise. Understanding.
Whatever brought them here didn't just pull people from other worlds.
It pulled them from other eras.
Screen 2 — The Invitation
The tension breaks for a moment as both of them laugh quietly.
Then a shadow falls over them.
A tall man stands before them, at least six feet in height. His presence alone draws attention. Soldiers nearby straighten instinctively.
"So," he says calmly, "you are Trunks… and one of the Twelve Heroes."
Both nod.
"Yes," John answers.
The man inclines his head slightly. "You may call me Xl. That is not my real name." His eyes narrow. "Some things stay private."
He pauses, measuring them.
"Our war is coming," Xl continues. "And we need people like you."
He looks from John to Trunks.
"You're both invited to join."
The weight of the words hangs in the air.
Screen 3 — The Two Alliances
Xl's voice lowers.
"This world is already at war," he says. "Two alliances."
He gestures toward the map behind him.
"One is called Justice for Humanity."
Then his hand shifts to the opposite side.
"The other calls itself the Power Country Union."
Xl's expression hardens. "That name is a lie."
He continues, "The Power Country Union is built on corruption. Slavery. Forced rule."
"They carried out genocide against a religious people known as the Gole."
Trunks stiffens.
"They numbered twenty million," Xl says. "Half of them are dead."
Silence fills the room.
"Three nations tried to stop it," Xl adds. "Justice for Humanity stood against them. But the world chose silence. Fear turned it into a global war."
John clenches his fist.
"The Power Country Union isn't unity," Xl finishes. "It's domination."
He looks directly at Trunks and John.
"You can walk away," he says. "Or you can join this war."
The choice is theirs.
Screen 4 — The Choice
Trunks doesn't hesitate.
"I'll join the war," he says.
John steps forward immediately. "Me too."
Xl studies them both, then nods once.
Trunks frowns. "Before that, I need to ask something. How do you know all of this? Both alliances. The truth behind them."
Xl answers without pause.
"A soldier named Eame," he says. "She's more than she looks. One of the most capable warriors in this war."
Trunks stiffens at the name.
"She's alive," Xl continues. "And she's already fighting."
The weight of those words settles in.
Trunks clenches his fist.
Be continued.
