Chapter 10 - chapter 10 news of king

Screen 1 — The Reward

The king looks at Trunks and bows his head slightly.

"Thank you," Oxforb says. "You saved my life."

Trunks shrugs. "It was my job."

The king gestures to an attendant. "You will be rewarded. Fifty thousand botcoins."

Trunks hesitates. "I don't need—"

"Take it," the king says firmly. "You earned it."

After a moment, Trunks nods. "Alright. I'll accept."

In this world, one botcoin equals roughly seven dollars in Trunks' original world.

The reward is more than most citizens would ever see in their lifetime.

Trunks pockets the coin pouch, unaware that accepting it ties him even deeper to the kingdom's fate.

Screen 2 — Eyes of the City

Word spreads fast.

A stranger saved the king.

People gather in the streets, whispering as Trunks passes by.

"Who is he?"

"He has no magic."

"Why does the king trust him?"

Suspicion hangs in the air. Trust does not come easily to common folk, especially toward someone new.

Among the Twelve Heroes, one takes notice.

His name is John.

A tall man carrying a massive shield, known across the kingdoms as the Shield Hero. He watches Trunks from a distance, eyes sharp, unreadable.

"…Interesting," John mutters. "That man is different."

Trunks feels the weight of those stares.

This world has noticed him now.

Screen 3 — The Shield Hero

John steps into Trunks' path.

"You don't have magic," he says, direct and calm. "Am I right?"

Trunks hesitates, then nods. "Yeah."

For a moment, John studies him carefully.

Then he nods once. "Good."

Trunks blinks. "Good?"

John extends his hand. "That means you're honest. And dangerous in your own way."

Trunks exhales, the tension leaving his shoulders, and shakes his hand.

"Friends?" Trunks asks.

John allows a small smile. "Friends."

From a distance, the city continues to whisper.

But for the first time, Trunks isn't alone.

Be continued.
