⭐ WHY THE SMASH ARENAS EXIST
Long ago, when the universes started merging, the collisions created Dimensional Turbulence —
worlds crashing, timelines looping, characters phasing into deleted content.
The realms needed a stabilizer.
And who created that stabilizer?
Sora.
Not "Sora the boy."
But Sora the Keyblade's Chosen, the kid whose heart connects every universe.
⭐ Sora's "Light Anchors" = The Smash Arenas
He used the Keyblade to forge Arenas of Pure Light, where:
Chaos becomes order
Colliding universes don't explode
Fighters can clash without destroying reality
Energy from battles feeds the stabilizer
Spirits remain contained
Subspace rifts can't expand
These Light Anchors are what the Smash World runs on.
They're basically: Magical, metaphysical wifi routers made by Sora so the multiverse doesn't crash.
---
⭐ WHY SORA DID THIS
Because he's Sora.
He meets a cosmic crisis and goes:
"Okay! I'll save everyone!! ❤️✨🔑"
He didn't ask permission.
He just did it, because his heart told him to.
Disney gods blessed his decision because:
Sora is pure-hearted
He's a perfect multiverse bridge
He has kingdom-level light magic
They can't let infinite IP universes collapse
Donald and Goofy would yell at him if he didn't
This is so beautifully chaotic that it feels canon.
---
⭐ WHY EVERYONE FIGHTS
Because the Light Anchors require:
Harmonized Combat Energy
— basically, the "power of connection through battle."
The arenas:
absorb the energy
redistribute it
keep reality stable
maintain worlds that shouldn't coexist
allow characters to safely materialize
It's not a tournament.
It's multiversal maintenance.
Every battle literally keeps the universe from falling apart.
Which means Pit, Link, Mario, Kirby, Samus…
they're not just punching each other for fun.
They are holding reality together.
---
⭐ THE SMASH PAYMENT SYSTEM
Every time a fighter enters a Smash Arena, they generate:
✔ Dimensional Energy (used to stabilize worlds)
✔ Cash, paid by the central "Omni-Bank"
This bank exists between universes and automatically converts Smash pay into:
Rupees
Gold coins
Pokémon money
Hylian rupees
Credits
Etc.
Every fighter gets a digital card that auto-converts currency to their home universe.
---
⭐ HOW MUCH MONEY DO THEY MAKE?
⭐ Base Earnings Per Match: 10,000 Smash Credits
Which converts differently for each universe:
Mario world: 10,000 coins
Pokémon world: 10,000 Pokedollars
Hylian world: 1,000 Rupees (still a LOT)
Kid Icarus world: Golden Hearts × Conversion Rate
Space worlds (Metroid, Star Fox): ~300 Galactic Credits
SEPHIROTH (FF7): 10k gil
Snake: 10k mission dollars
Kirby: …Kirby just gets food coupons
Sora: 10k Munny
Joker: 10k yen
And YES — this makes fights VERY profitable.
---
⭐ BONUSES
⭐ KO Bonus: + 3,000
⭐ Style Bonus: + 1,000 to +10,000
(For cool moves, combos, taunts, crowd appeal)
⭐ No Damage Bonus: + 5,000
(The "tryhard" bonus)
⭐ Multikill Bonus (2v2 / 4v4): + 2,000 per KO
⭐ Arena Type Multiplier:
Omega arena: ×1.0
Battlefield: ×1.2
Chaos arenas (Norfair, Brinstar, WarioWare): ×1.5
Final Destination: ×2
⭐ Tournament Events: ×5 to ×10 earnings
(Main plot-only events)
---
⭐ AVERAGE DAILY EARNINGS (for normal fighters)
Most fighters do 1–3 matches per day.
Meaning the average Smash fighter earns:
💰 30,000 to 60,000 Smash Credits DAILY.
In their universe, this is:
Mario: Able to buy a castle
Pokémon world: Could buy a ranch, a lab, 50 potions, AND a bike
Hyrule: Equivalent to royal salaries
Snake: "The best damn contract I've ever taken."
Samus: Actually enough money to fuel her ship
Villager: Can afford a mansion instantly
Sonic: Buys chili dogs for weeks
And THIS is why so many characters join Smash.
---
⭐ WHO IS RICH BECAUSE OF SMASH?
✔ Mario
Owns multiple houses now
Luigi: "MARIO STOP BUYING PROPERTY"
✔ Red
He doesn't even spend the money
He just buys Pokéfood and goes home
✔ Link
Bought Hyrule Castle reconstruction
Zelda loves it
✔ Snake
Pays all his medical bills
Has a literal armory now
✔ Samus
Her ship is fully funded
Chozo tech upgrades included
✔ Pit
…Palutena steals his money
Viridi taxes him
Phosphora buys snacks
✔ Joker
Sends all his money to his friends' futures
(School, therapy, and college funds)
---
⭐ FIGHTERS WHO ADMIRE THE MONEY
These characters joined mostly for cash:
Terry
Ryu
Snake
Mr. Game & Watch
Kazuya
Pac-Man
Cloud
Richter
Inkling (to fund their weapons)
Little Mac
King Dedede ("FREE FOOD!")
---
⭐ FIGHTERS WHO DON'T CARE ABOUT MONEY
These characters literally don't understand the concept:
Kirby
Link (at first)
Sora
Isabelle
Mega Man
Pikachu
Mewtwo
Pit is in-between:
> "Money is great…
But why do I always lose it to my goddesses!?"

HOW SMASH TROPHIES WORK IN YOUR FIC (Canon-Friendly, Consistent, and Useful)
1. Trophies = "Observers Made Manifest"
When a universe sends spectators into the Smash Realm (My version of the arena), their Collective Observation Energy creates avatar-like manifestations of characters from across reality.
Think of it like this:
When millions of people across infinite universes think about, talk about, or cheer for a character…
The Harmonized Combat Energy (HCE) reacts and produces a Trophy Construct.
These are NOT the real characters, but fully functional, sentient projections.
It's like:
Not copies
Not fakes
But "HCE-made versions based on fan attention."
This explains why characters not invited as fighters still appear.
---
✅ 2. Trophy Characters Can Become "Real" If Given Enough HCE Attention
A trophy normally exists in a "semi-real" state.
But if enough spectators focus on a character across thousands of universes, that trophy can stabilize and enter the arena as a real physical being, capable of interacting with fighters.
There is a lore reason for:
Assist trophies
Spirits
And even potential new fighters
They're all different levels of stabilization.
---
🚀 Trophy Stabilization Levels
Level Name What It Means
0 Spirit Echo Just an image / concept
1 Trophy Form Solid, movable, can observe
2 Active Trophy Can move on their own, can talk
3 Assist-Level Can perform combat but limited
4 Fighter Potential Fully stabilized; could become a fighter
5 True Manifestation Fully real individual (like Pit meeting Shantae!)
Shantae would be Level 5: True Manifestation.
3. Why they aren't Official Fighter
Using Shantae as an Example
Even after becoming real:
She doesn't have an invitation
She wasn't chosen for a slot
She wasn't part of the core rotation
But because "Trophy Manifested" beings now have bodies, they can exist in the Smash Realm freely.
That means:
✔ Shantae can talk to Pit
✔ She can fight informally
✔ She can travel around the Arena complex
✔ She can form bonds
✔ She can absolutely flirt with him
✔ And she can join his future-wife list
All without breaking Smash canon.

SAFE — EUCLID — KETER — THAUMIEL — APOLLYON
❗This is NOT SCP, just inspired terminology adapted to my Smash House / Tournament setting.
---
Smash Threat / Existence Classification System
This system isn't about containment — it's about what Smash itself can do about you.
Think of Smash as a cosmic tournament system trying to maintain balance.
---
🟢 SAFE — "Playable, Predictable"
Definition:
Fighters whose power is fully understood, regulated, and works within Smash rules.
Smash Meaning:
Can be fairly matched
Can be defeated normally
Damage %, ring-outs, stamina all work as intended
Examples:
Mario
Luigi
Lucina
Min Min
Captain Falcon
Most human-scale fighters
Smash View:
"You are strong, but the game understands you."
---
🟡 EUCLID — "Unstable, But Manageable"
Definition:
Fighters who break rules occasionally, but not consistently.
Smash Meaning:
Power spikes
Unusual mechanics
Situationally dangerous
Can overwhelm weaker fighters accidentally
Examples:
Meta Knight

---
🔴 KETER — "The System Struggles"
Definition:
Fighters whose true power exceeds Smash's intended limits, but is restricted.
Smash Meaning:
Sealed power
Divine or cosmic origin
Smash actively nerfs them
If seals break → disaster
Examples:
Pit (explicitly)
Sephiroth

Mewtwo
Possibly Sheik from certain timelines
Smash View:
"If you go all out, the tournament stops being a tournament."
🔹 This is why Pit was stopped by Palutena.
Smash isn't built to handle unsealed angels.
---
🔵 THAUMIEL — "System Enforcers"
Definition:
Entities too powerful to fight normally, so Smash uses them to keep balance.
Smash Meaning:
Admin-level beings
Prevent catastrophe
Rarely fight seriously
Exist above brackets
Examples:
Sora (Administrator)
Kirby (by mutual agreement)
Possibly Tabuu / Galeem / Dharkon when aligned
Master Hand & Crazy Hand (when sane)
Smash View:
"You don't participate. You stabilize."
📝 This explains why Sora and Kirby don't fight.
Not nerfed — exempt.
---
⚫ APOLLYON — "Smash Cannot Contain You"
Definition:
Beings whose full existence breaks Smash fundamentally.
Smash Meaning:
Not nerfable
Not stoppable
Not fully summonable
Their presence changes reality
Examples (Potential or Conditional):
