Chapter 71 – A Little Confusion
One week later.
Razan was on the hotel couch watching Charlie perform a play, with Vaggie sitting next to him.
Vaggie looked at Razan leaning on her shoulder and asked:
— So, where's Loona? I haven't seen her today. Don't you guys like being apart?
Razan yawned and said:
— Well, you know we have the city to take care of. So she can't stay away for too long. It's normal that she can't be here sometimes.
He then looked at Charlie's theater and said:
— But I really don't know how she manages to do this.
Angel was looking at the script and said:
— I'm a bad guy on the streets who never got a hug. Oh, where can I find a little kid so we can smoke one…
Angel said angrily:
— Who wrote this shit?
Charlie, hearing this, said happily:
— It's really good, right? Keep going, Angel.
Angel sighed and said:
— And then… what?
Sir Pentious said:
— You.
Angel said:
— Yes, you seem like the type of kid who would use some special powder.
Sir Pentious said:
— Who, me? No. I have to get back to my studies soon.
Angel said:
— Nonsense. You'll be cool like me, the druggie.
Sir Pentious said:
— No. The only cool thing is saying no to drugs. So, with your permission, I must preserve my virginity until marriage.
Charlie said excitedly:
— Excellent, Sir Pentious! At this rate, you'll redeem yourself really fast.
Angel, seeing this, sighed tiredly and said:
— I'm going to bed. I'm tired.
Razan, seeing this, sighed and thought:
Charlie is really good, but her emotional intelligence level isn't very high, is it?
Razan then grabbed a can of soda through his spatial portal and threw it at Angel and said:
— Good job, dude.
Angel caught the can of soda Razan threw without understanding anything. He then smiled and said:
— Thanks. But next time give me a beer.
Razan said:
— Sorry, buddy, but I don't like alcohol. So you'll have to settle for this soda.
Angel said:
— But even so, thanks.
He said while going up the stairs to his room.
Arriving in his room, he started looking at Valentino's messages.
Angel listened to the first message: Valentino cursing him.
— Angel, you slut, where are you?
Angel, seeing his phone full of messages, sighed tiredly.
He then got up from the bed to go to the bathroom.
He then passed through the hallway and saw someone placing a camera to spy on the hotel.
He then looked at it and shouted in anger:
— Fucking spy! You're working for Val and the others!
He approached and said:
— I knew there was something very wrong with you!
Sir Pentious said:
— I don't know what you're talking about, slut.
Angel then jumped on him angrily and said:
— I'm going to kill you, you traitorous snake!
They then started fighting.
Angel began punching Sir Pentious, who pushed Angel aside and said:
— Get your passive-aggressive body off me!
He threw it away angel away.
At that moment, after so much noise, Razan, Charlie, and Vaggie arrived in the room where they were fighting.
Charlie, seeing the commotion, asked:
— What's going on?
Angel said angrily:
— This son of a bitch is a traitor!
Sir Pentious said:
— An outrage! I would never betray you guys.
Razan appeared in front of Sir Pentious and gave him a light flick on the forehead, throwing him against the wall and said yawning:
— You know, little snake, I have the power to know when someone is lying. So it would have been better for you to have stayed quiet.
Sir Pentious, hearing this, said:
— Abort mission!
He tried to open the window but couldn't. Then he looked at the watch on his arm and said:
— Mission failed. Requesting rescue. Repeat: requesting rescue.
Vox then appeared on the watch screen and said:
— You've already been caught. You only had one week and on the first day you try to start spying, you get caught. What kind of useless trash are you? Do yourself a favor: if they don't kill you, just kill yourself once and for all.
The watch screen turned off.
Sir Pentious then went into shock and lay on the floor and said:
— I… I… if you can be quick… not that I deserve it.
Razan said:
— Alright, I'll be quick.
Razan then transformed his hand into a black dragon claw. When he raised his hand, Charlie said:
— No, Razan!
She then held his dragon claw.
Razan looked at her staring at him while holding his claw and said:
— Alright, you win. Handle it your way.
He said, turning back to a normal human hand.
Charlie, seeing this, smiled and gave him a light kiss and said:
— Thank you so much.
She then approached Sir Pentious and said:
— Apologize. The first lesson: just apologize from the bottom of your heart. Life has flaws we can overcome. You just have to apologize.
Sir Pentious said:
— How can I accept the things I did? I don't deserve your forgiveness.
Vaggie said:
— Can I kill him already? I can't take it anymore.
Charlie said:
— He knows he messed up.
Angel said:
— Whatever.
Charlie then approached and said:
— But who hasn't messed up too? So just apologize.
Sir Pentious said:
— Sorry.
Charlie smiled and said:
— See? It's just apologizing. It's not hard.
Sir Pentious smiled and said:
— Yes, it's not hard.
Then, at that moment, Niffty appeared and stepped on his tail and said:
— You're not an evil monster, so why did you deceive me?
Razan said:
— You guys love drama way too much.
Charlie jumped excitedly on him and said:
— You saw, Razan? He apologized! They can improve!
Razan smiled and stroked her hair and said:
— Yes, it's really good to know that.
Vaggie, seeing them like this, said:
— Come on, now that we've resolved this, let's go to sleep.
She then pulled the two toward the room.
Angel saw them leaving and looked at Sir Pentious and said:
— You dumb snake, you better be serious because I'm going to keep an eye on you.
He then went to his room.
