You Lian Yue stood dazed. "Kaito, how... how do you just stand there and mythical Pokémon seek submission?"
Kaito smiled. "Simply put, it's my charm."
The Ghostly Gift
The Pumpkaboo swarm returned, celebrating the defeat of the Alpha Trevenant. Kaito half-squatted, his hands erupting with a dense, spectral black light.
"This is... Ghost Power?!" Lian Yue gasped. Every time she thought she was used to Kaito's brilliance, he revealed a new ability.
Kaito invited the Pumpkaboo and the Alpha Trevenant to his farm, and they eagerly agreed. The group then mounted Spectrier. The Ghost-type horse moved with silent, blinding speed, far surpassing any normal transport.
The system notified:
Task Completed: Explore the Spirit World (1). Reward: Spell Tag.
Obtained: Spirit World Map and Partial Blessing.
The Unsealed Guardian
They arrived at a grand, dilapidated Western-style villa. Inside the ornate hall stood a massive stone statue that suddenly began to vibrate, shedding rubble to reveal a Golurk.
Golurk's Profile:
Type: Ghost/Ground
Level: 80 (Champion-tier)
Ability: Iron Fist
Potential: Champion-tier
Status: Special Unsealed (Seal broken, but energy controlled).
The Golurk charged to expel the intruders. Spectrier vanished in a blur, delivering a powerful hind-leg kick that sent the titan crashing through a wall. However, the cracks on Golurk's body began to knit back together instantly. It stood up, its eyes flickering with life before collapsing from energy exhaustion.
Kaito walked forward and infused it with his Power of Life. The golem stood, staring at Kaito with a trace of gratitude. "I'll find you a new place to guard," Kaito promised. Golurk nodded and joined the team.
The Clown's Performance
As they explored further, a Haunter appeared and began playing with Mime Jr.. Suddenly, a loud explosion echoed from the misty garden outside.
A strange figure strolled into view. It had a sphere-like head encased in pink and blue hexagonal patterns and wore white clown gloves with frilled wrists.
Blacephalon's Profile:
Type: Fire/Ghost
Species: Ultra Beast (UB: Burst)
The clown bowed elegantly, then approached two nearby Litwick in a dancing posture. In a terrifying display, it removed its own head and let it explode. Bang! As the sparks flew, it drained the life energy of the Litwick, leaving them listless.
The Ultra Beast turned toward Kaito and Lian Yue. The appetizer was over; it was time for the main course.
The Hidden Observer
While the tension between Spectrier and Blacephalon reached its peak, a small black figure hid in the shadows. It wanted to observe Kaito's battle up close, so it slipped into his shadow.
However, once inside the shadow realm of Kaito's aura, the figure froze in pure terror.
It saw the phantoms of Reshiram and Zekrom standing like celestial guardians. In the center, Xerneas radiated blinding life energy. Calyrex glared down from Glastrier's back, while Latios, Latias, Diancie, and Shaymin surrounded the intruder with overwhelming pressure.
The shadow figure trembled. Who on earth did I just try to stalk?! How can one human be the center of so many legends?
Kaito is about to face an Ultra Beast, unaware that a legendary stalker has just realized its mistake! Will Kaito capture the explosive Blacephalon, or will the mysterious figure in his shadow reveal itself to escape the pressure of the Gods?
