Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: The Fight Between Gods

Draven's voice was cold as ice. "That woman… she punched Subash-sama so hard he coughed blood." To him, anyone hurting Subash was equivalent to declaring war—yet he knew he could do nothing here.

Velyra covered her mouth with a trembling hand. "It's my first time seeing Subash-sama get injured…"

Lilithra remained composed, her gaze sharp and cold. "Do not worry. They're on the same level. That woman simply possesses more physical strength. Once they begin using their ultimate skills, it will be an equal fight—and the one with the superior skill will win."

---

Back at the battlefield—

Subash felt the impact ripple through his bones. (So this is the physical strength of a True Dragon… and this feeling—this thrill of a worthy opponent. I only felt it when fighting Alex…) A cold smirk appeared on his face as his darkened eyes settled on Chloe.

"Prepare yourself, little sister of Roshan… I won't hold back anymore."

He vanished, appearing behind Chloe. But her eyes glowed.

"Too slow," she whispered, activating her Eyes of Time—seeing everything in slow motion, even movements beyond the speed of light.

She disappeared and reappeared behind him, delivering a kick that sent him flying. The impact destroyed the surrounding area, and Subash crashed into the ground with a thunderous BOOOOOOOM.

Dust rose. Subash emerged, calm as ever.

"Well… this is getting interesting." His body healed instantly. (A single kick broke my spine… True Dragon bodies really are terrifying.) His void eyes glowed.

In a millisecond, he appeared behind Chloe again—faster than light. Her eyes widened briefly, but as he launched a punch, she caught it effortlessly.

Subash retreated at once. (The power of Time itself… Even moving beyond light, she predicts me. It's like she already knows every direction I'll attack from.)

Chloe's golden eyes, patterned with temporal sigils, met his. "Already tired? I haven't even used my full power." She tilted her head. "Be grateful—you're witnessing my Eyes of Time. I can see the future. Your movements are like a child's. I can kill you before you even begin."

Subash's eyes widened. Then he smirked. "A terrifying ability… but I haven't used my true power either."

Space split, and a sword emerged from the void. Subash gripped the blade, pointing it at Chloe. She nodded, summoning her own sword. Time itself slowed as she released her energy.

(His sword is divine grade… mine is the Sword of Time, born from my essence—wielding both time and space.)

They locked eyes.

They vanished.

Their swords clashed with a clang that sent a shockwave greater than the Big Bang, tearing apart the surrounding space. They moved faster than infinite speed, each clash destroying pieces of reality itself.

---

Draven stared in disbelief. "Is this… the power of a god? I can't see anything."

Velkan's voice shook. "Two level-90 beings… this is beyond imagination."

Kael'thar watched calmly. "So this is Subash-sama's true strength… beyond comprehension. And someone matching him… terrifying."

Ravon spoke with worried respect. "Lord Subash-sama's sword swings alone destroy reality… If not for the dimensional barrier, the entire nation would already be dust."

---

Subash's arm regenerated as he exhaled. "This is troublesome… but there must be something I can do." His eyes turned cold as he stared at her.

Chloe smirked. "Disappointing, Void Dragon. I thought my brother Roshan's student would at least scratch me. But you've done nothing."

Subash chuckled. "Say whatever you want… but never underestimate me."

His eyes flashed.

Chloe's own eyes widened in shock as her arm was suddenly severed—no movement, no warning.

Subash lowered his sword. "My ultimate skill, Lord of Mirror. I didn't want to use it—but you left me no choice."

Her arm regenerated, but slower than it should have. (Lord of Mirror… a deathly skill. It ignores time, space, and durability. The attack simply appears…)

"This is only the beginning," Subash muttered. He lowered his stance, gripping his sword with both hands.

"Void Sword Art—Tenth Form."

He swung. Countless sword slashes shot toward Chloe. She activated her Time Slip—teleporting through time and dodging perfectly.

Subash smirked. "Don't think it will be that easy."

He raised his hand.

"Ultimate Skill—Lord of Stars."

The sky turned purple as endless meteors began to fall. Chloe's eyes widened—but she remained calm.

(The unique skills Supernova and Meteor Shower—after devouring Alex, they merged into the ultimate skill Lord of Stars.)

Meteors fell endlessly as the two clashed in close-range combat. Their swings shattered countless meteorites, yet more continued to rain down.

Subash kicked Chloe away. Blood spilled from her mouth; she wiped it away with a smile.

"Now this is getting interesting. Show me your full power, Subash."

She lifted her sword.

"Stop—World."

Instantly, the world lost its color. Everything froze—atoms, cells, magicules, even spacetime itself.

Subash was frozen as well.

Chloe approached him slowly, a cold smile curving her lips.

"Goodbye, Subash. Big Brother Roshan will finally understand that I am far more powerful than his masterpiece."
